• Dhivya (7/5): Clean and cheap stay near Amsterdam - The room had the basics which was necessary for a short stay. This place would have been ideal for a night but not for a stay longer than 2 nights as the bathroom is not attached. The bathroom is not attached. And though there is a kitchen avaiable it is the host's kitchen which is constantly in use. So it is not very comfortable to cook there, and after that it is a hassle to carry everything back to the room to eat and bring the dishes back to the kitchen for clean up.

• Janneke (7/5): Sfeervolle ruimte, gastvrije ontvangst! - Prettige persoonlijke ontvangst door de gastheer. Sfeervolle kamer met een lekker bed, een zithoekje, en nog een aparte slaapkamer met een eenpersoonsbed met daarin een wastafel met spiegel en koffie en thee- faciliteiten. Tevens wat bestek en servies aanwezig en een klein koelkastje. Bij de kamer 'hoort' een eigen badkamer. Deze badkamer is op de gang en dus niet in de kamer zelf. Je moet voor toiletgebruik of douchen dus over de gang. Op zich niet zo'n groot probleem maar voor mij toch minder prettig, vooral als je in de nacht naar het toilet wil.

• Sara (8/5): Picturesque and atmospheric village retreat - It was a peaceful spacious accommodation, in a lovely rural setting. The area surrounding the property is a wonderful place to recharge and enjoy different kinds of landscapes, lakes, polders, woods and heather. The best of Dutch countryside! The room itself was clean and comfortable, with easy access free parking. The only aspect we struggled with was that even though we technically had the use of the kitchen, this was the main household kitchen. The ad mentioned the use of a 'family kitchen', but what they meant was that it is the te host's kitchen. This meant that we could cook if we needed to, but had to take the food over to our room, since we did not feel at leisure to use it as our own hanging, cooking space. For a couple of days this wasn't a big deal, but it would be helpful if this was clearer in the listing, especially for longer stays. It is not a full self-catering property. Thankfully the host was friendly and the history fascinating, which made up for the inconvenience. Would warmly recommend it for short stays.

• Camille (10/5): Parfait pour découvrir Amsterdam et ses alentours ! - Très bien placé, confortable et agréable ! Anton est très sympathique et attentionné ! Nous avons passé un très bon séjour avec notre grand mère ! Attention Anton ne parle pas anglais, prévoyez une application de traduction si vous ne parlez pas néerlandais Et il y a trois grandes marches pour accéder à la chambre (sachant que la salle de bain est dans le couloir), donc si vous avez des difficultés à marcher ce n'est pas l'idéal
• Marc (8/5): Quiet retreat in 400 year old farmhouse - The room is private and nicely set up. You have your own small fridge and sink with kettle and coffee machine. There is a more than ample wardrobe/storage. The bathroom is private and located just down the hallway from the shared kitchen. The location is great, especially if you want to walk out in nature and still be close to Amsterdam, Utrecht and Hilversum. The farmhouse is owned by Anton who has divided it up and rents it out to other full-time tenants - so you are not alone in the building.

Неудобното единично легло и неудобният диван.Препоръката ми е да се смени единичното легло изцяло,както и диванът.Имаше и други дребни забележки, но това са съществените и основни, защото без добро наспиване нищо друго няма значение.
• Stefan (8/5): Eine gute Wahl wenn es einem nichts ausmacht in die Küche des Besitzers zu gehen, der dort wohnt. - Es handelt sich um ein schön renoviertes Bauernhaus in einem netten Dorf. Wir hatten das Familienzimmer für meine Frau une meine Tochter, was aus 1 grossem Schlafzimmer/Aufenthaltsraum plus einem kleinen Schlafzimmer besteht. Ein angenehmes Bad ist im Gang, man kann die Küche benutzen, aber das ist der Wohnraum des Besitzers, Anton. Er spricht nur holländisch, Kommunikation ist etwas schwierig, aber er ist sehr freundlich.

Koken moest in de keuken van de eigenaar. Ik heb de details doorgelezen op Booking. Ik zou zonder kennis van nu dezelfde foute keuze hebben gemaakt.

• Zora (9/5): - Wir hatten eine schöne Woche bei Anton. Es ist ein Ort an dem man sich entspannen kann und doch ist es nicht zu weit weg von Amsterdam. Anton ist sehr nett, man kann in seiner Küche kochen und bekommt einen Kaffee von ihm oder ein selbstgebautes Bier. Danke! Es geht eine steile Treppe in den Schlafraum hoch, wer Probleme beim Laufen hat sollte das beachten.

• Anastasija (10/5): Дом оставил только приятные впечатления и воспоминания! - Мы путешествовали по Европе в течение двух недель и бронировали много разных квартир, домов, но этот дом был самым лучшим и запоминающимся. Хозяин Антон очень гостеприимный, встретил нас и все показал. Гостевая комната хоть и небольшая, но комфортная. Отличный вариант для семьи с ребенком, так как есть дополнительная комната. Матрац и белье как в лучшем 5 звездочном отеле. Также порадовал большой выбор шампуней, гелей для душа, зубной пасты в ванной комнате. Было много полотенец. Антон разрешил воспользоваться его кухней, где мы готовили завтрак и кофе. В доме есть стиральная машина. Дом находится в тихом и живописном месте. В 10 минутах от дома есть локальный бар с бильярдом и хорошим выбором пива. Небольшой запах в общем доме.

• Martin (10/5): Pleasant stay at a beautiful Dutch farmhouse - It is a beautiful authentic farmhouse with many years of history. The man who welcomed us was very sweet and showed us photo albums of the house. He was really polite but only speaks Dutch which wasn't an issue for us. The facilities were in good condition and there was even a sink in our room which was great. Overall a very comfortable experience

• Rebeca (10/5): Exceptional - The highlight of our trip! Beautiful house in a beautiful dutch style village, beautiful furniture, we just felt in love! Very close to Amsterdam and many other interesting places. Owner very kind, living in the property but we have our privacy at any time. We were all day exploring around and was very nice to come back at "home", clean, warm and comfortable. Room is very big, little room inside the room for our child, bed extremely comfortable. Amazing garden and surrounding,our little dog enjoyed so much! Keep on mind the bathroom is not in the room, for us wasn't a problem at all. We will definitely love to be back! Thank you John and Anton for such a wonderful stay! Grazie mille! Nothing!

• Neil (9/5): Stunning farmhouse with modern interior in beautiful Dutch village. Secure parking, safe, quiet. - Really luxurious farmhouse suite, with fridge, kettle etc, good heating. Comfy beds. 5 mins walk to lovely Dutch village with welcoming pub. Safe off road parking. Great walks and exploring area for dogs. 5 mins drive to Weesp. Would be amazing for bird enthusiast - they are everywhere ! Super helpful and welcoming host. Thank you !
• Cynthia (9/5): Charming barn-to-bedroom in Ankeveen - We met Anton when we checked in. Despite the language barrier, we had a quick check in. We were shown to our room, the bathroom and helped to bring our luggage to the room. The room was cosy, typical old barn setup but charming. I had both of my kids staying with me. The beds were comfy, everything necessary was in the room. Giving the privacy to the guest, despite the carer staying in the same property. Quiet area, spacious parking space. Location is 30-min ride from Schiphol and 20-Min from Utrecht which is important for us since family live mostly in Utrecht. The bathroom was separated from the room, but the space inside made up the distance.
