• Charles Jomike (4/5): Disappointing. - So near to the city Value for money wise it is kinda cheap, however, it is kinda disappointing that they didnt follow what I booked which is a room for 3 and 4. They gave us room fof 4 and 2 and I was forced to move to a different block. The other room in different block stinks, loo is dirty, towel stinks and linens I reckon were not changed either. The worst is that the staff opened my room at midnight without a proper explanation why he did it!

I was granted early check in early and checked out late. Room ventilation. Faulty bathroom exhaust fans, No locks on bathroom doors. Unpleasant smell in corridor to lift lobby. One room had no dulvet, covered with bedsheet throughout the night with AC on.

• Angelica (1/5): DONT BOOK HERE! - Nothing. DONT BOOK this hostel. They gave our room to other guests when we checked in late despite my confirmation of our arrival days before check-in. When we arrived, we were told by the staff that the room was given to someone else. THEY WERE ALSO VERY RUDE. They had us wait for 2 hrs to find another room for us. The host had no remorse. I will never book here again.

With free drinking water, free coffee and tea. The room is too small, even not enough to provide comfortable aisle. The linen is not really good, the toilet has hot and cold shower but not not function well,

• Paola (9/5): It was an ok experience. I can recommend it to first time travelers who are on a budget. - The property was ok if you are traveling on a budget and do not mind staying in a hostel. Staff was very accommodating. They provide free coffee. The smell outside the property towards the elevator lobby smells but not impacting the entire experience at all.

• Andrea (4/5): Disappointing - Central location, airconditioning, hot water, and helpful staff who are easy to communicate with (via Whatsapp). The room they put me in was in a different building from the address where I checked in. It did not look like the picture during my booking. It was very small, the width was just big enough for the bed. The shower was also very small, like a cubicle. The worse was that there was no windows. The small space would have been tolerable if there was a window to look out of and as a source of natural light. Intead it felt more like a pod or capsule. If I turned off all the lights it was completely pitch black and very uncomfortable. There was a nightlight, but it was quite strong so sleepers who prefer the dark might not like it. I was okay with it being a small room where I could just sleep, but even staying in the room just to sleep is not very good. At least there was airconditioning for ventilation.

I was mislead by what ratings, opinions and pictures on your website describing the property - the reality was not what I was expecting. I know that opinions are subjective and very difficult to define where one of your rating groups ends and the next begins but given a plea from the owner not to hurt his business I am gong to change my rating one notch up - disappointing

Not as advertised: - mold covered the walls of the bedroom - no toilet paper - noisy host (was staying next door and loudly talking on the phone at 1 am with open door) - very dirty: hallway, bathroom and bedroom - wifi did not work reliable - buckt with dirty water was standing in hallway
• Rachael (7/5): Comfy and friendly but passport details not protected and cockroaches. - Centrally located. Friendly host. Beds were quite comfy. Quiet room. Good air con. Dirty - cockroaches on lift and in bathroom. Stuff left in room and bathroom from previous occupants including a book with all passport details.The book with current passport details was left on full display in hallway. Strong smell of mould outside apartment triggered my hay-fever. Access to room was very narrow.

• Honey (1/5): I wish to never have to experience that again. - There is no breakfast, the place is shockingly bad. I did not get what i paid for. They gave me a totally different room than what was described. And i hate the fact that they refused to give me an invoice! I wasn’t even put into the correct hostel. They work together like scammers. Everything! It was the worst place i have ever been to in my entire existence. Oh don’t let me get started on the room. The walls are extremely thin and I could not sleep for a few nights, even when i told the property owner of the brain piercing construction noises that started at 5 in the morning, he wouldn’t even do anything about that.

• K (9/5): Absolute value for money and very clean. - Its in the famous Chunking Mansions. Although the rooms are small and cramped as like other hotels in Hong Kong at this price point, I was pleasantly surprised by its cleanliness and facilities. The room was just enough big to have a small double bed and an attached washroom, that's it. So you can imagine the space. And the washroom was actually bigger than the other similarly priced hotels that I have seen in HK. I did not had any problem staying there. There was AC, fan in the room, clean towels provided, clean bed sheet, hot water in the bathroom and free drinking water in the lobby. What more can you ask for in this budget in Hong Kong. Absolute value for money. The Indian guy at the reception was friendly too.
• Mark (1/5): VERY VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. STAFF IS VERY ARROGANT. FACILITIES ARE VERY BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Nothing.... From the staff, owner, facilities are very bad..It ruins our trip. Don't ever try to book here. For sure you will regret it. Just a waste of money and time. We checked in at 6pm even though we arrived at 3pm. The staff told us that there is a minor renovation in our room. He promised us that since we checked in late, we are also allowed to check out late but on our last day, he forced us to check out at 3pm. He even shut down our electricity and told us that he will call a police. He even threw the cellphone of my friend. We really had a bad experience with them. All the facilities are very bad. The aircon is leaking in our bed. The door in the cr won't close. The size of the room is very tight. WIFI is very very poor. You need to stay in the hallway for you to be able to connect. We did not enjoy our trip and we are traumatized for what happened.
• Kushal (8/5): Really loved the hospitality here. - I liked the friendly staffs here specially Pankaj Sharma who was really humble, and he made sure that I felt like home here. I would definitely recommend you this place if you have tight budget, and also if you love Indian foods. In terms of hygiene and cleanliness, they can do more better.
• Meghraj (5/5): Passable - The location is central and accessible to most of the places. It's just a 5min walk from MTR and Garden. One can explore a lot of things simply by walking. The room is very small. The room is located on the 17th floor, where you have to wait for a long time for the elevator to go to the 16th floor, and then you have to use the stairs to the 17th floor. No openable windows and window view.
