• Genie Louise (8/5): Comfortable and peaceful - The property is spacious and comfortable and in a convenient area with food options nearby. Access to Netflix made the evenings relaxing. The host was lovely too. There are some mosquitoes that hang around the front door, could perhaps use a mosquito repellent by the door.
• Attila (10/5): - amazing resort, internet is fast, room clean, kitchen netflix, shops near, street food also, stores, beach also near neighbour dogs were bit loud sometimes but it's fine.
• John (10/5): Spot on - Second time I have stayed at Lacambra Hills and it really is a hidden gem. All mod cons, incl Netflix, for a comfortable stay. Ate Amihan always available to help with anything, would definitely stay again. Shops, restos and beach less than 10 mins stroll away. Maybe non slip mats in the bathroom?
• Liza (8/5): All good. Amihan and her team were pleasant. Highly recommended. They even gave us jackfruit to taste. Thank you! - Away from the busy streets, therefore less noise Nothing that can’t be fixed, the showerhead😀, it seems to function like just a hose above your head. And just like the other reviews, they can at least make the Lacambra Hills a little bit bigger and something that can stand out from the road.

• Neil (10/5): Fantastic, relaxing, convenient, and super clean 👍 - Very clean, very modern appliances. The staff were amazing. Very friendly and accomodating. Good location. Safe and as quiet as you can get (for the Philippines) 😂 I can’t recommend this appartment complex high enough A+++ It didn’t have air con down stairs but they supply a good quality floor fan which did the job just fine. The other only slight thing is it’s a little bit tricky to find (for taxis and grab) that’s not the owners fault. It is what it is. The address for some reason takes you around the corner. But that’s only nitpicking. Don’t let that deter you the place is a hidden gem and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Barretto.

• Christoph (10/5): - Super eingerichtetes und gepflegtes Apartment in einer ruhigen Sackgasse. 2 Kochstellen (drinnen und draußen) und alle erdenklichen und nützlichen Einrichtungsgegenstände. 5 Fußminuten von der Hauptstraße entfernt. Grundstückszugang und Appartmenteingang sind durch elektronische Schlösser gesichert. Vorbildliche Kommunikation mit Host und Housekeeper. Gerne wieder!

• Jen (10/5): - Het is onze 2de keer in deze studio. Het ligt op paar wandelminuten op het strand en restaurants. Kan ook zelf koken en kleding wassen. Is ideaal voor een lange verblijf. We gaan weer deze studio kiezen op onze volgende vakantie.
• LoiTongson (8/5): - Very clean, convenient and secured location and quiet. Close to Subic Freeport area. Ms. Amihan was great. We love the ground floor studio We will definitely stay here again. I would like to suggest to have a direction sign board of the property on the corner of Lacambra Street going to the driveway of the property as well as on the corner of Rizal and Lacambra. Google map directed us next street which was a narrow dirt road and dead end with no vehicle access to the property. It will be very helpful specially when going to the property at night.

• Matthew (10/5): Smart new property, great hosts, very enjoyable stay - The room was well equipped and the hosts were very accommodating, helpful and friendly. In my opinion, they went above and beyond what was expected by honouring a specific room layout request for us. There were a number of dogs barking outside at night (which is not unusual in provincial Philippines) and this meant that we needed to wear ear plugs to avoid being disturbed. There was also a lot of light in the room in the mornings as the blinds were not light blocking. These issues were insiginificant though and, all things considered, our stay was a great experience.

Had studio, very very well equipped, not missing pots or cutlery or cups and plates, well thought out studio, top 10 to us, we have been slow traveling non stop last 18 months, could not ask for nicer studio. New and very well maintained. Location is in local Philippino neighborhood which we loved, if you want a tourist area or western style neighborhood this might not be your cup of tea. However building and rooms are new, modern and very western with gated parking Nothing, hosts where perfect and helpful without being overly friendly and bothersome
• Jacarous (10/5): Exceptional - Great place, gated apartments with parking available. The place was clean and well maintained. I loved that we were able to do laundry. Many places I looked up did not have a washer on the premises. Adequate kitchen and cooking supplies, we were able to cook every day, and the location is close to many restaurants if we wanted to go out or have food delivered. I will stay here again if I am in Subic!! The gate was a little tricky trying to get the key out. It took me quite a few attempts. There were a few nights that it was a bit noisy due to dogs constantly barking, and there were no curtains to block out the sun. Neither of these things bothered me since I can sleep easily regardless of noise or lights, but I still mentioned it just in case this is a concern for future guests, other than those minor things, everything was absolutely perfect!

• David (9/5): The apartment was very nice, but one should weigh their options - The room was clean and well furnished (including things in the kitchen with two types of coffee). We used the kitchen to cook means quite a bit. Having the washer helped a lot as well were able to do a couple of loads of laundry while we were there. The water pressure was low in the bathroom and the noise from nearby neighbors including their dogs was terrible. While I was aware of the location prior to arriving it was often too hot to walk even down to the main highway to go shopping. Almost all of the communication with the manager was by text or through her daughter who lived downstairs (I never saw the manager or owner).

• Maria (9/5): Relaxing Holy Week - We liked everything with regards to our accomodations clean comfy homey feeling .They provided all the toiletries towels and even slippers.Coffee brewed or 3in1they have that for the guest not to forget about mineral water it's free.The staffs are nice and easy to talk to very helpful.Situated in a subdivision with quiet neighborhood but very near to resto mini groceries talipapa and other establishments.10 minutes walk to the nearest beach Dritwooof.We enjoyed our stay in this place I can't think of any because it exceed my expectations.

Aircon cooled, Netflix available, complete kitchen and seperated outdoor kitchen , good bed, washmachine, all included. Quiet neighborhood, helpfull caretakers. Good restaurants offering international and local cuisines at a 5 minute walk. Market and supermark nearby. Nothing, great accommodation.

• Brian (10/5): Great newly built studio ideal for a quiet relaxing stay. - Beautifully designed building . Inside you have a large studio with all the amenities you need for a week or longer stay. The neighbourhood is quiet but friendly & there's a good market just a short stroll away. The lady taking care of the apartment is very professional & helpful. The nearest beach is about 10 minutes walk but probably the best beach in the area is Baloy which is 30 minutes walk or few minutes on a trike ( 50 peso maximum) . There's no hills so it's an easy walk though if staying longer I'd probably recommend renting a scooter.
