Ryan (9/5): Better than the pictures - don't hesitate to book! - This apartment is genuinely better in real life than it looks in the pictures and noticeably clean and nice-smelling when you walk in. Don't hesitate to book! Very spacious flat with a surprisingly well-stocked kitchen, and lots of thoughtful touches throughout. Tons of blankets, outlets, dishes, flatware, tissue boxes!! (which are almost never found in European apartments), paper towels, etc. - you just won't find many of the little inconveniences you often experience in vacation rentals because of the host's well-thought-out amenities. Though not shown in the photos, the bedroom off of the living room also has a huge walk-in closet at the back that is very dark and quiet (once the motion-activated light sensor was covered up) which worked beautifully for our baby to sleep in. Because it's hard to tell the exact layout from the listing, I'll just mention that when you enter the lower half of the kitchen, the bathroom is to your right and the second bedroom is up the two steps, straight ahead, just past the upper half of the kitchen. Don't let the lack of reviews scare you - this apartment, our fourth in Cortona, is a winner! Two sets of keys and dish towels would have been very convenient. I'd just recommend the host instruct the cleaning crew to take a good sweep under the beds and couches. Quite a bit of dust has collected, so it's time for a deeper clean. Otherwise, very clean and pleasant stay!
