Guest Reviews
- Chanapha (9/5): Overall, it’s a great place for a big group — clean and easy to get to the main spots in London. - Really great location — the property has everything you need for a long stay. Nothing major, but we wanted to use the oven and it didn’t seem very clean, so we didn’t end up using it.
- Oumaima (10/5): -
Wenig Ablage.
- Daumantas (9/5): - The communication with the host was very easy and informative. The check-in time was adjusted to suit our needs for a small extra fee. The description of the apartment, facilities and photos were accurate. The location of the apartment is great, allowing easy exploration of central London on foot The sofa bed is not the best for a comfortable sleep, but that is the only drawback if you are not very sensitive to the train noise in the evening and morning. For us, the noise was not an issue :-)
- Khaled (6/5): Good apartment in all but very expensive with poor amenities - Location is good
Good communication from the owner Very old and expensive apartment with a lot of noise outside .
Poor amenities like electric vacuum for the cleaning
Very old towels .
- Jan André (9/5): Like it. And would do it again. - This charming apartment is nicely located in a big city. The area was nice and quiet. Yes is traffic noise, but it wasn’t a problem. The air fans on the bedrooms was a blessing during the hot evenings. The stay have been wonderful. We traveled as a family of five and the kids loved it so much. They even wanter to stay a week longer.
Pleasant host, easy check-in and easy check-out. Nothing in particular.
Maybe the weather on one of the days.
- Dmitry (8/5): Good stay, well maintained, yet trains could be noisy - I regularly stay in London and the location was clean, well maintained and conveniently located. And reasonably priced for a two bedroom property. The hosts were friendly and supportive. Trainlines are in a close proximity so you hear trains and it is difficult to sleep in one bedroom as trains stop at 1am and restart at 5am. Tactical issue that there is no air-conditioning so you keep windows open (it was ok even during +25-27) and the trains are loud
- Julie (8/5): Fantastic apartment in a great location, but noisy trains running by. - Lovely spacious apartment with 2 comfortable beds. The layout of the apartment was very good, and it was well equipped and clean.
The location is excellent for walking into the centre of London, The area also felt quite safe with a police station just round the corner. Parking is available immediately outside the property. The area itself is quiet, but there is quite a bit of noise from the trains, as there is a tube/ railway line situated very close to the apartment. The trains stop around midnight/1am and start again around 5am. If you are a light sleeper, then ear plugs or some kind of noise cancelling is a must!
- Szilárd (10/5): It was confortable. - Good location, very close to downtown (Westminster, Temze). Ideal for families. I liked everything.
- Bart (9/5): Superb -
- Papatya (8/5): Nice, clean and good-sized flat at a great location to see London sights. - - Perfect location near underground stations (Lambeth Nord, Waterloo) and bus stops at walking distance. Quiet area (apart from the trains passing by). Felt quite secure walking to the flat late in the evening with our kids.
- Big bed rooms, enought space to put your stuff. Nice view from the living area (first floor) on a green patch/shared garden. The flat has a modern feel to it and was clean.
- Host was quick with answering questions and needed information came on time.
- It was great to be able to use the parking place in front of the flat for our car. We came from somewhere else in the UK, so we needed a safe place for our car. We did not use the car during our stay. No need for that.
Please note that next to the parking fee (via the host) you have to make sure you pay the congestion charge for that part of London.
- Flat is walking distance to the Southbank, London Eye, Imperial War Museum, Big Ben and Westminster.
- Tesco express and Sainsbury are near Waterloo Station to get groceries. Pubs and restaurants nearby.
Due to the location we were able to see lots of things in Central London and make the most of our time. The use of the flat made sure we were well rested and were able to do a little self-catering. We loved our stay in London. - Showering in the bath tub. A bit slippery. Nice, clean bathroom though.
- Kitchen sink tucked away in the corner. Doing the dishes requires some bending.
- Railway is oppposite the flat, ear plugs are provided. I brought my own customized ones, so I was prepared.
We think the location, cleanliness and size of the bed rooms make up for the inconveniences.
- Matt (9/5): Superb - Location for us was absolutely perfect. I cant think of anything.
- Manuel (6/5): Not so good as expected. - Nothing special Access, only 4 chairs, heating…
- Elise (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucas (10/5): Excellent - Location is amazing. Very close of all main points at London. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable and clean.
- Cristina (9/5): Superb -
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional - Location, location, location... close to all major attractions, either walking or by public transport. Our host was extremely helpful, and I would highly recommend staying in London.
- Kirsty (10/5): Homely, clean, comfortable and only a short walk from central London. - Clean, modern, very comfortable beds and pillows! Easy to get the keys, instruction manual for everything you need. Felt like a home from home. If you stay here be sure to visit the corner cafe! Trains were not an issue for sleeping, easy walk to Westminster! If you walk through the park be sure to keep a look out for the parakeets! My only issue was the app says booking in is between 2-3pm but the property says 3pm. Not a real trouble just a little miscommunication!
- Al-jamaan (9/5): Superb - Clean apartment with modern facilities. Great location with easy access to all central London attractions and in a quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive and helpful.
- Kim (7/5): Good -
- Mutaz (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean , well equipped, good location
- Arfan (3/5): Poor - The space at the apartment was good The apartment itself is spacious but the towels provided had white hair on them and blood or stains. Non of us have white hair so we were shocked, also the towels were covering something on the bed sheet and were put on top and we only realised as we came back late in the evening from a day out. I messaged staff but the only reply I received was we will let the cleaning company know. I had to re wash myself as I was worried I may contact something, my wife and son couldn't have a shower as there was no way to request new towels
As the weather was really humid we were only provided with one fan between 3 rooms and when I enquired I was told one is broken and awaiting delivery..this isn't good enough as there should be spares available especially for the prices we are being charged. If I was told before hand I would have brought one from home. We travelled over 4.5 hours and coming from up north the temperature is cooler so the humidity in London affected us badly at night
My wife has lupus and the heat affects her we struggled to sleep and we were awake all night we couldn't open the windows as the trains passing by were really loud
There are no signs for this place which is bad, if your new to the area you will struggle to find the apartments, the reception when calling staff is ridiculous you can't hear anything and it keeps breaking up
The frustrating thing is I cancelled Novotel hotel last minute and booked this one, at hotels staff are always available. I regret cancelling the Novotel
- Marija (9/5): Host was very responsive and helpful. Not a far walk to major attractions. - Apartment is Modern and offers a great layout. Great Shower. Kitchen equipment all modern and in good condition. Easy walk to nice parks and major attractions. Would have liked to have some paper towel in the kitchen for cleaning. Family with 3 kids. No elevator so a bit difficult to bring up suitcases and stroller to second level.
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (9/5): This site was everything promised and served us well. - The site was cleanse and close to the local sites. The proximity to the overground rail
- Marina (8/5): A very functional, well presented and clean apartment. In a handy location but close to a rail line that can be quite no - Very clean and modern interior. A functional layout. The location is very handy to major attractions but is next to quite a noisy train line.
- L.j. (8/5): Excellent - Very modern, clean and crisp. It’s close to the railway so a little noisy. But given it’s right around the corner from Big Ben makes up for it.
- Darcie (9/5): An excellent place to stay as a small family or group and very clean. - Very very clean. Comfortable beds and bedding. Could have used more towels. Quite small. Awkward shower.
- Marthe (9/5): Highly recommend this apartment! - Great location only 5 mins walk from Westminster Bridge and London Eye. Super clean, quite spacious for London, smart and comfortable apartment. Easy walks to all the central London attractions. Quiet neighbourhood with a big London Met police station next door so super safe. This apartment ticket all the boxes and was great for us as a family of 5.
- Joanne (8/5): Very good - It was a really good location to Big Ben etc in a clean neighbourhood. The apartment was clean and decoration was fresh and modern. The beds were comfortable. Was suitable for a short family break for the 5 of us. The trains!! I had no idea that we were booked right beside a train line- that should be advertised, apologies if I have missed this in the small print? The trains are running every few minutes so it is continuous and noisy, no getting away from that, the room at the front receives the greatest impact noise-wise, so make sure the heavy sleepers go in there!
- Hayley (9/5): Modern, Clean and well equipped! Well worth the money! - Modern decor! clean and well stocked! there was plenty of room for us all, we were a group of 5 women and was more than enough space for us all to sleep and live comfortably for the weekend :) nothing everything was perfect!
- °sara° (8/5): Very good -
- Cristina (9/5): Excellent place to stay with a 4-people family! - Very nice place to stay a few days in London. Close to the city center enough and still in a quiet neighborhood . Everything was fine, super clean and the host was very reactive for the little issue with the heating and hot water.
- Shani (10/5): Exceptional - The stay was great, everything was easy to access and there mas a manuscript that explained everything in the apartment. Our only issue was that in the main room the heater made noise like there was rocks banging against it. But except for that noise everything was excellent.
- Rajesh (1/5): Bad -
- Tianna (10/5): Enjoyable stay right by the river! - love the decor and modern appliances! location perfect literally 2 minutes to river and 10 minutes from London eye that we visited to yesterday. The bathroom was designed beautifully. Provide a wider range of coffee assortments.
- Lee (9/5): Lovely stay in London, close to the action. - Great location for access to central London. Lovely and clean apartment with modern facilities. Easy to access and great that this apartment also had parking. Apartment was a bit chilly at times, but the heating controls were easy to use.
- Caroline (4/5): there was a boiler I. the bedroom which was noisy and didn’t have a cover on,,, a door handle was hanging off in the bed - it was close to the tube,, it was clean and had all new items in the kitchen to use,, the communication with the owner was good and prompt when we needed him the location had rubbish outside the flat block such as old mattress and old suitcase,,, it didn’t meet up to a description of riverside as we couldn’t see the river from the flat,,, it wasn’t suitable for 6 adults as we had booked for and should be for 5 maximum,,,
- Vasquez (8/5): Very good - Installations are great, very cozy and very comfortable. The host agreed to do the check in one hour earlier, but the moment we arrived, the apartment wasn't ready. When we leave I asked the host to do the check out one hour later to feed my baby but he said no, he gave me just 30 min. The apartment did not came with a manual like others we went to, so we couldn't use the kitchen and the towel dryer. And no hairdryer.
