Guest Reviews
- Muzili Aznor (9/5): -
- Alison (8/5): Family trip to Anfield - Location to Anfield was fantastic
Bedrooms were all good sizes. None of the bathrooms had locks on the doors.
We only had one tea spoon
- Tim (8/5): Geweldig - De locatie en de slaapkamers Het was een beetje gehorig.
- Gemma (8/5): -
- Heike (10/5): - Außerordentlich netter Kontakt mit den Vermietern!
- Nathan (10/5): Beautiful spacious house with amazing hosts! - Beautiful house in an ideal location! Hosts were outstanding (one guy accidentally set off smoke alarm and they immediately rang to see if we were ok!) were always there to assist if needed help no matter the time! Could not recommend this property of hosts enough! As a Liverpool fan was ideal too as right next to Anfield!
- Ciara (10/5): - It was close to everything we needed. You could see Anfield Stadium from the front door
- Bilaal (6/5): Best to look for else where if you don’t want problems and a decently quick host who is responsive before and throughout - The location of the property was good, the fact that it was outside anfield stadium, not too loud when it’s not booked on a match day so that was good.
New Brighton beach only 30 mins away so not bad if you go in the summer months The rooms were small, all beds seemed like standard double beds rather than some being king size beds. A damp smell coming from the cellar and WiFi not working for nearly a full day. Host said to turn it on/off but after doing so still didn’t do it, which then had to make the host come and sort it out. Host was responsive in the end to messages after asking same question several time. Host came to solve the problem out the day after despite being informed of the problems as soon as we knew of it being an hour into check in. Asked for extra blankets/towels but told that they don’t keep any extras. What would you do if you really needed them?? but were told that we would have them dropped off in evening of the day if we were lucky but didn’t receive them.
Communication before check- in was poor, the number that is provided through booking.com doesn’t ring and host takes a very very long time to reply back so not ideal if your in a problem whilst your having a stay. Kitchen cooker & oven were dirty with grease and stains all over so couldn’t really cook anything.
Bathrooms are decent, with toilet seats loose moving side to side but the full property could be done with a new look and a lick of paint.
- Kerry (8/5): Pleasant. - Great for a big group Lack of glasses. No wine glasses just pint glasses. The bath wasn’t draining. Needs a mat in the bath. Stinging nettles in the back yard need to be removed.
- Godfred (10/5): - We liked everything Nothing
- Claire (1/5): Very disappointed - Very disappointed to be told on the morning of staying at the property that there was an issue with the only to find out after being in the pub opposite & seeing lights on in the house so knocked on the door and spoke to the people staying there that it had been booked out in March via AIRBNB for more money!!!. WE were put in alternative accommodation but 35 walk away from the ground, the house was okay but beds are awful and springy
- Mart (8/5): Anfield YNWA - Locatie Several things in the house needs looking after fi toilets
- Muzili (9/5): Superb -
- Orlando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lizzy (7/5): Big house that’s good for a few nights - The house was great for what we needed and everyone had a comfy bed and enough space for a few nights. The kitchen was great for cooking for everyone and it was in a great location. We were only really using it as a place to sleep rather than to be in all day so it worked for us. It was difficult to get hold of the hosts for the door code. The house was good for a few nights but was a little rough around the edges. Lots of peeling ceiling paper in the bathroom, a few bits of exposed plaster, quite a few of the plugs didn’t work as well as the light in one of the bathrooms. We did ask about this via booking.com but it wasn’t fixed during our stay so people just used torches to go to the bathroom.
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional - Good location very clean 👌
- Vicky (10/5): Great weekend in a great house - It was very spacious! The bedrooms were decorated differently which was a nice touch each room had character. The kitchen was beautiful and the stove was easy to use. The garden was nice
- Bronach (10/5): Exceptional -
- Souvik (10/5): Had a great time staying here with 14 other friends - Spacious and well equipped property, good location near bus stop
- Amanda (7/5): Good family home - Beautiful property big enough for our needs. Good location with buses to town nearby. The property could be beautiful but in need of decorating. No welcome pack so no knowledge of buses, best places to eat etc
- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (8/5): Very good - It was clean and comfortable and the location was good
- Robere (4/5): Disappointing -
- Naomi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Speakman (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Lovely place, good value for money, 15 minute commute into Liverpool town centre, 25 minutes to either Crosby or formby - Nice and spacious, with a nice outside space. The dining space wasn’t big enough, only 4 chairs. Also would benefit from black out blinds/ curtains on the first floor front bedroom.
- Danielle (9/5): Great stay - Good size, location and value
- Liz (7/5): Ok! Won’t be back - We didn’t end up staying in this property as had a gas leak, host found us another property nearby at Newsham Drive. House was huge with plenty space. Cold on ground floor. Clearly a multiple occupancy house. One room was a smokers room. The mould and cobwebs in corners of all rooms. Downstairs wc horrid. The windows filthy, no light into the living room due to overgrown trees. Garden a mess. Slow shower.
Place was tidy however. Left a day early as not a relaxing house. A bit of an upgrade / tlc could preserve this fantastic property. An expensive trip due to late notice of cancellation and re making new travel plans. Top floor bathroom - when water from bath or shower was draining, it came out the blocked pipes outside of house and down onto area outside living room window. Probably causing the damp to downstairs bathroom wall.
- Muzili (8/5): Very good -
- Meagan (4/5): Disappointing - Key code check in. The location is a short taxi ride away from the city centre We didn’t stay in this particular property. We were advised that due to water damage we couldn’t stay so we’re moved to a property on Clinton road run by the same hosts. We had 12 guests and were assured there was enough room for us. The second house had 5 rooms with 1 shower and 8 sets of dishes/cutlery. When we arrived there were also some lightbulbs missing so for instance there was no main light in the lounge. When we asked for these to be replaced they were dropped off the afternoon after we arrived.
- Muzili (8/5): Very good -
- Tijana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Wilkes (6/5): Reasonable, but could easily have been so much better - The house had 6 double bedrooms, 1 single bedroom and 3 bathrooms, all of a decent size and comfortable. It was disappointing to find a number of small things that could have been done better - dirty tea towels in the washing machine and half packets of food in the freezer on arrival, no dishwasher tablets or spare bin bags, kitchen bin lid did not fit the bin so it basically had no lid, we had a gas leak on the boiler on the Friday night, the extraction fan in one bathroom did not work (and looked as if it had been found on a building site), there is free parking 0.5miles away, but the hosts did not advise us of this and as all the roads around the house are all resident permits only we were fortunate to find it ourselves, no instructions for operating the heating or the gas fire in the living room, rubble from the works left under the gas fire in the living room, it's a house for up to 13 people but only has a small table and 4 chairs in the kitchen, etc.
