• Johanna (10/5): - El majestuoso árbol de Ceibo es simplemente impresionante. Los bungalows ofrecen mucha privacidad, el desayuno es delicioso y el sendero directo a Playa Chiquita es un gran plus. Sin duda, un lugar perfecto para relajarse en el Caribe.

• daniela (8/5): Bonito, pero le falta para ser un 4 estrellas - Ambiente 100% en contacto con la naturaleza, cabinas fair, solo tener cuidado que hay algunas con A/C y otras que no… La piscina muy bonita, buen servicio de toallas, perfecto para escuchar animales y despertar con el sonido de los monos. A solo 10 minutos caminando a playa chiquita. Desayuno a la carta ( no había bufet ), no mucha variedad, regular servicio al cliente durante el desayuno. Mala actitud de la persona que nos atendió. El servicio al cliente en general es regular, no mal pero no tan bueno.

• Albert (10/5): - A pesar de vivir en Costa Rica y acostumbrado a hoteles de playa y convivir con animales silvestres, este hotel realmente me sorprendió, la distribución de las habitaciones en medio del bosque, escuchar tantos animales en la madrugada, la limpieza, la comida estupenda y el personal muy atento.

• Tanja (7/5): Beautiful scenery at good location - The whole hotel is beautiful and nicely maintained. So much plants and wildlife, absolutely georgeous. The A/C was good (and necessary). The beds are comfortable and the location is great with some very good restaurants nearby and an access to the beach right across the street. Breakfast is also good. The 70meter high tree is very impressing! The information we got from the staff about opening hours of the restaurant were a little confusing. At check-in, they told us from 1pm to 9:30pm the kitchen would be open. Then we got a whatsapp from the reception, saying it is open from 12pm to 8:30pm. So we came back from the beach at 12 for lunch and it was not open. 1pm they told us again. Next day we wanted to have dinner at 6:30pm and the restaurant was completely empty. A staff member from the kitchen then said "only for pizza or chicken fingers" so we went out instead. The pizza we had one evening was terrific though. We also did not have warm water in the shower, which we mentioned at the reception, asking if someone could have a look. They said of course, but nothing happened.

• Ulrike (7/5): Schone Lage in einer Tropenlandschaft - Die Anlage ist toll: die Hütten mitten in einer Tropenlandschaft ist malerisch, hier kann man viele Tiere wie Tukane, Frösche, Landkrabben, Agutis, Schmetterlinge in unmittelbarer Nähe erleben. Der Superior Bungalow mit A/C und Outdoor Bad ist toll, die Bungalows ohne A/C sind nicht zu empfehlen (in die Jahre gekommen, Probleme bei der Spülung am WC, keine Fenster (muss man mögen) Poolhandtücher waren nicht sauber, Liegenauflagen schmutzig, Pool für die gesamte Anlage (und Day Pass Gäste) nicht besonders groß, allerdings extra Pool für den Adults-Only Bereich Personal im Restaurant war nicht besonders freundlich und auch nicht aufmerksam: Frühstückstische wurden nicht eingedeckt, Besteck musste man sich selbst von den anderen Tischen zusammen sammeln. Frühstücksbuffet bis 9:30 Uhr vollkommen in Ordnung allerdings bereits ab 8:15 Uhr kein Auffüllen mehr. Upgrade auf vier Sterne bei Booking.com verstehe ich nicht.

The outdoor bathroom with the shower was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was appreciated each morning with many options. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was delicious, and it was nice to have a Happy Hour! The beds were very squeaky. Not sure if it was the mattress or the bed frame. It was not uncomfortable, but because it squeaked whenever you turned in the bed, it made loud noises and woke us all up. We were four women sharing a room.

• Valeria (9/5): Oasis in the caribbean - Beautiful nature, beautiful hotel. The trees in the property are amazing. I hope they keep prioritizing nature protection over expansion. Breakfast was amazing. I particularly liked the omelette station. I find the hotel somewhat pricey. There were some issues with the toilet as it was clogged as we arrived, but staff was immediately responsive and nice.

Todo naturaleza, cabañas muy bonitas las cabañas… la playa a unos pasos. El checkin es muy tarde, nos lo dieron sobre las 15:30h aunque es cierto que nos dejaron usar las instalaciones y piscina.

• Jakub (7/5): Time stopped there, overpriced but comfortable cabins. - The cabin is big, clean and nice. The bathroom is partly outside, it's a plus. The bed was really comfortable and we had a nice stay. They say they are a sustainable hotel but there is plastic everywhere - plastic cups for 4 pieces of fruit during breakfast, plastic plants in the restaurant (we are in a jungle, hello), soap are packed in plastic etc. Breakfast was really bad, buffet but very limited options, ham and cheese put in one container squeeze together for who knows how many days.. The hotel is quite old and even though cabins are really nice you can feel the time passed in the rest of the area. They stucked in the past in thinking on how they run the place.
• Zava86 (1/5): che disastro!!! - NULLA l'hotel, pur essendo da due giorni senza energia elettrica e senza acqua (nemmeno per usare il WC) ha ben pensato di non avvisarsi. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno promesso di risolvere in poco tempo (cosa assolutamente non vera). Hanno dato colpa al maltempo, ma era l'unico hotel in città in questa situazione. Abbiamo dormito in un'altra struttura e non siamo nemmeno tornati per colazione (vista la puzza che usciva dalle cucine dopo 2 giorni senza elettricità). Nella notte hanno lasciato gli ospiti al buio senza nessuno del personale (follia). Abbiamo contattato sia l'hotel che booking e nessuno ci ha rimborsato nulla. una vergogna.

Wir kommen gerne wieder! es fehlt definitiv eine Aufhängemöglichkeit für Klamotten und Badesachen

• Julia (9/5): Super Lage. Sehr, sehr nettes Personal und toller Support - Das Personal war außergewöhnlich freundlich! Wir konnten noch vor Check In unser Gepäck aufbewahren lassen und haben Handtücher für den Strand bekommen. Selbiges nach dem Check Out und das, obwohl wir nur eine Nacht (wegen eines Buchungsfehlers als Überbrückung gesucht) vor Ort waren. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Die Zimmer sind nett gemacht. Der Pool war etwas trüb und für uns daher nicht einladend. Der Wasserhahn am Waschbecken brachte kaum Wasser zum Vorschein. Der Wasserdruck ist - wie in ganz Costa Rica - nicht der Beste! Beleuchtung im Zimmer für uns zu dunkel .. aber das ist Geschmackssache.
• durand (8/5): Un beau bungalow avec un personnel agréable - Très beau bungalow au coeur d'une végétation luxuriante. Le personnel est très agréable et disponible. Il nous a manqué un réfrigérateur. D'autre part, nous avons été déçu que nos draps ne soient pas changé alors que nous sommes restés 4 nuits (nous avions bien mis l'étiquette pour faire la chambre chaque matin). L'absence de réfrigérateur et les draps qui ne sont pas changés lorsqu'on reste plusieurs nuits.
• Roger (2/5): Chaotische Administration - Leider keine richtige Bewertung möglich. Das Hotel hat uns in drei Monaten 4x über Booking ausrichten lassen, das Kreditkarten Daten nicht korrekt sind. Jedes mal haben wir diese aktualisiert. Dann dasselbe Spil von vorne. Wir hatten aber noch nie ein Problem mit der Karte. Beim vierten Mal haben wir dann sogar die andere Karte hinterlegt. Das Hotel hat es nie für nötig empfunden, mit uns Kontakt aufzunehmen. Am Anreisetag hat das Hotel uns vor dem Mittag einfach die Unterkunft storniert. Wir sind nichtsahnend im Hotel eingetroffen. Bei der Ankunft in diesem grossen Hotel war der Receptiomsmitarbeter völlig gestresst. Hat die eintreffenden neuen Gäste warten lassen und musste mit jedem Gast dann auch noch die Anlage zeigen. Also warteten wir erstmal 45min. bis wir dann erfahren durften, dass unser Zimmer storniert wurde. Es scheint, als sei dieses Hotel und vorallem das Personal etwas überfordert? Schade.
• Marina (3/5): Schöner Dschungel mit einigen Mängeln - Die Lage direkt im Dschungel ist wunderschön Es ist zwar ein Hotel, aber man hat keinen Mehrwert im Vergleich zu einer Ferienwohnung. Das Personal, war größtenteils desinteressiert. Der Check-In ist ab 15.30 uhr schon eher spät angesetzt. Wir durften 16.15 uhr endlich ins Zimmer. Auch hier keine Kommunikation, trotz mehrfachen Nachfragens. Auch hier kommt man nicht mal auf die Idee, die vielen wartenden Gäste mit irgendetwas, wie ein Getränk oder ähnlichem, die Wartezeit zu versüßen. Der Pool war bei unserer Ankunft ausser Betrieb. Ein Tag später anscheinend wieder offen. Aber das Wasser sah alles andere als gesund aus. Grün, blubbernt, Drüb. Nach Fragen ob der Pool wirklich in Ordnung sei, kam nur die Antwort "yes, the Pool is ok" Das Frühstück war spartanisch. Es bat zwar alles an aber irgendwie lieblos und nicht sehr appetitlich angerichtet. Das Schlimmste waren die Betten. Man konnte sich nicht bewegen, ohne das alle anderen im Raum wach wurden. Schrecklich. Holzbretter und oben drauf eine durchgesehene Matratze. Das Personal interessiert sich leider für nichts. Somit viel Geld bezahlt für 4 schlaflose Nächte. Wie gesagt, so eine Unterkunft könnte man als Ferienhaus eben so bekommen, für weniger Geld. Kein Mehrwert.

• Karol (4/5): Insatisfecha - Los empleados son muy amables, el desayuno muy bueno! La limpieza de las habitaciones es decepcionante! El baño tiene moho, el desagüe tenía pelos, el baño se llenaba de agua, prácticamente era una piscina porque no servía el desagüe, mi familia tuvo alergia por el polvo en la habitación y el ventilador de techo no servía del todo bien, no aumentaba la velocidad estaba siempre como al mínimo… reportamos todo esto a recepción y prácticamente nos ignoraron!!

• Soledad (1/5): - Quiero dejar constancia de que la habitación asignada no correspondía en absoluto a lo que se mostraba en las fotos publicadas en Booking. No tenía ventana adecuada, presentaba aberturas en las paredes y las camas estaban ubicadas junto a una ventana sin vidrio, lo que generaba una situación de inseguridad e incomodidad. Además, soy una persona muy alérgica a los insectos, y las condiciones de la habitación aumentaban considerablemente el riesgo de exposición a bichos. Considero que la información publicada fue engañosa y no reflejaba el estado real del alojamiento No.existe imagen en booking de la habitación que me otorgaron, tuve qye cambiarme a otro hotel pagar extra y mas, ya que tenia que resolver el problema del alojamiento in situ, veníamos viajando mas de 24 horas fue muy desagradable todo
• Marco (10/5): Soggiorno indimenticabile nel verde di Puerto Viejo - Struttura unica, immersa nella verde della foresta che ti fa sentire connesso con la natura. Colazione ottima e sono presenti dei punti per il refill di acqua. Personale molto gentile e disponibile anche per il servizio in camera. Essendo immersi nella natura, la stanza è risultata un pò umida.

• Andres (10/5): Excelente ubicación y atención. 100% recomendado. - Desde el momento en que llegamos, sentimos la calidez y amabilidad del personal: Victoria, Marco, Jeyfer, María José, entre otros, siempre atentos y con una sonrisa. 😊 El desayuno es súper completo y delicioso; viajamos con niños y todos lo disfrutamos mucho. La habitación es amplia y confortable, y el bosque que rodea la propiedad te hace sentir realmente en medio de la naturaleza. En resumen, nuestra estadía fue maravillosa. Recomendamos este lugar tanto para familias como para parejas que buscan relajarse y disfrutar de un entorno tranquilo y encantador.
