Guest Reviews
- Alistair (10/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Lovely holiday house in great location - The house was great and we loved the location, the fire, the space and some nice extra touches like bird feed and decorations. The bathroom and en-suite were also very nice. Angus and Tracey were helpful when we needed to contact them too. Not much but the double mattresses could do with being changed (or thick toppers added) as you can feel the springs. Kitchen was great and generally well-equipped but another saucepan with a lid and some kitchen scissors would be good.
- Carissa (10/5): Beautiful Christmas location - birds and red squirrels. - The home was charming, well designed and had absolutely everything we needed, including extra bird food to put in the feeders! Its location is close enough woth a hire car to most of the highlands, but remote to have no road noise, beautiful night skies and wildlife.
- Sara (10/5): A fantastic stay in a great house - It was comfy and very spacious. The owners sorted our heating problem at the start of the stay straight away Tile floor was cold but just need to remember slippers next time
- tattiesoup (9/5): You will not be disappointed on your stay - A roomy house with great view. All mod cons that are easy to use and there is a folder with instructions on the table if you're stuck. The downstairs bedroom is en suite and situated on the ground floor. There is an outdoor decking and table for sitting and enjoying the sights. Quite easy to find the house and Boat of Garten is less than a mile away where you can board the steam train if you wish, also the Post Office there has a great selection of groceries and drink. My personal preference is for a comfier mattress and thicker pillows. The house maybe needs a pick me up to give it a full 5 star rating.
- Sulakshana (10/5): - Very relaxed and calm place, great for a family staycation.
- Verity (9/5): Enjoy stunning views in this family-friendly home. - Location is great, close to lots of attractions for families including Highland Wildlife Park, Landmark and Highland Folk Museum, as well as lots of good walks nearby. Beautiful views from the garden, we lucked out on weather and ate outside every evening. Lots of space, kitted out well for families including high chair and travel cot. Beds were comfy. Well equipped kitchen facilities. Good communication from host Angus. There was a slight issue with cleanliness on arrival but this was quickly resolved and Angus was very friendly and accommodating.
- Caroline (10/5): Wonderful location - The location is perfect, gorgeous views and near everywhere you'd want to go.
The decor and facilities were lovely, plenty of parking. A few more pots wouldn't go wrong but there are enough.
- Hayley (9/5): Superb -
- Clare (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful setting and very comfortable
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Larry (10/5): Exceptional - Nicely out of town. Near to Avimore but nicely quiet. Angus, the hoste, did well for us. I'd go back again. Hummm... can't think of any thing.
- Judy (9/5): Superb - The space and style internally was great and the garden area and views were fab. Loved having two sunrooms. Bird feeding area at kitchen window was lovely - encourages you to hand wash dishes!
- Marie-isabelle (10/5): Exceptional - Great property, very cosy and comfortable with lots of amenities - very well thought, makes you feel at home!
- Robert (8/5): Great location / very confartble and relaxing. Would recommend - Great location / fantastic wildlife - squirrels & a multitude of different birds.
Sitting outside with wood burner was excellent. Lots of space downstairs and very good kitchen facilities It could do with a tidy up eg fresh coat of paint outside and back outside area was run down. Upstairs double was very cramped due to the low ceiling - bathroom upstairs was great.
- Philip (9/5): Thanks, a great week - Wonderful setting overlooking spey valley. Ideal for 3 friends to share. Very well equipped. Excellent directions pack. 2 TVs to watch tge Euros too! Very comfortable Nothing
- James (9/5): Scenery superb, accommodation excellent, location fine, however you do need transport. - Everything was as described, excellent Due to a error re access, the accommodation was not ready on our arrival. No harm done.
- Marie (9/5): lovely cottage -
