• Kate (9/5): BEUATIFUL PLACE in the heart of Melbourne with a cool energy. - I like the premises and the location, the energy of the lobby was great and easy to navigate. The staff did at times say they would do something and then not do it. We needed cots set up for my babies as we had a late arrival and it wasn't done which made the first night and welcome much harder. The staff could have been better at keeping me informed of what was happening as a few requests that I needed for help managing travelling with children were not met and not followed up on.

• Susan (8/5): - Excellent location. Excellent espresso bar next door, close to great restaurants, and perfectly situated by the parks if you want to go for a pretty run. The Jardan chair was also very comfortable. Also good bedding and dark room. I upgraded to the accessible room to have more space but did not realise that did not include the rainfall shower. Next time if travelling alone, I would go for the smaller room with the more extravagant shower head.
• Alexandra (6/5): Wouldn’t stay again - rooms incredibly impractical - Location, bedding, Leif products in room. Some major flaws. Heard every sound from hallway and adjacent rooms (including peeing into toilet), rooms pitch black even with all lights on (reading lights shaded an area 30cm away from bed - helpful!), no hanging space or hangers. No rooms other than suites have baths. Front desk staff incredibly disinterested.
• Saadyat (7/5): More design oriented than guest friendly - Rooms and property design. The front desk staff are very professional and friendly. 2 things to consider if you’re staying longer than 1-2 nights 1) room comfort: we had a deluxe room that’s over 30 sq feet, which we upgraded to specifically for the reason of a longer stay so that we’d have more space, but the closet space is extremely small and there is no space to store a suitcase, which kind of ruins the whole “design feel” of the room. Overall I have a feeling everything is about design, but not comfort. On top of that, the smart controls of the room are really not user friendly at all. I would turn off all the lights in the room with a master switch and yet the down lights would stay on for at least 15 minutes? Then, all of the lights in the room would randomly turn on when one of us got up in the morning by sensor. Made absolutely no sense, and is uncomfortable for longer stays. Overall I have a feeling rooms are not “user friendly”, but more design oriented. 2) Please train the housekeeping staff properly. We travelled with a friend, and in both of our rooms we independently experienced exactly the same thing: after housekeeping all our vanity stuff changed places. At one point I found my toothbrush laying on the table (???) even though it stands upright and I would never leave it on the table. My friend left his suitcase open, because he keeps his clothes in and found it closed upon coming back in the evening. All the clothes fell from one part into the other. Why would the staff rearrange our personal belongings? This is honestly the first time I experienced something like that and I really didn’t like it. We were traveling with a friend

From an aesthetic perspective It was unfortunate to see that the tile finishes in the bathroom looked rushed which would is a shame given how incredibly well it had been designed, and the bathroom had a lingering bad drain smell.

• Mhwe (5/5): - The rooms were very aesthetically pleasing but very small for the price they are charging. Convenient location otherwise. I was accidentally charged twice at check-in and was told it would be refunded, but later found out at checkout that it hadn’t been processed. Additionally, the TV in the room was not functioning. When I called reception for assistance, I was told, “Oh, you’re only staying for one night… we will reset it, but can’t guarantee it will work.” This response was a bit disappointing, as working amenities are part of the service provided, regardless of the length of stay.

• Stacy (7/5): Nice but too noisy - Room was big, modern and clean Centrally located in the CBD Staff were nice Noise - Unfortunately we couldn't recommend this hotel to anyone because of the noise in the area which meant we couldn't sleep. Loud music, people screaming in the streets, sirens, noisy cars backfiring. This continued until the early hours of the morning, every night we stayed (fri-mon). By far the noisiest hotel we have ever stayed in

• Victoria (6/5): Ok but pricey for what you get. - Great location cool design and friendly staff Room was noisy, only one bottle of water provided. Breakfast was a joke. Only a few lame choices, no fruit or anything fresh.

Cleo’s restaurant was excellent Really noisy at night from both street noise and corridor outside room. Breakfast included not a buffet but ordered and options were limited with extra $$ for additions.

• tiffany (9/5): Overall, loved this hotel. Gorgeous decor, vibes and atmosphere. One minor issue with the black out blinds but wouldn’t - Loved the location and vibe. Decor was very cool The blackout blinds in our room had a large gap due to the motor resulting in bright lights coming through to our pillows.
• Steven (10/5): Definitely one of Melbournes best hotels! - We really love loved the stunning decor.. very cute LA boutique vintage style. The roof top was stunning for breakfast. We loved everything.
