• Oscar (9/5): Wonderful stay, great location, view and good value for money. - Great location, beautiful water views and good cooking facilities. Three tiered level property would be difficult for someone with mobility issues. Wasn’t an issue for us however.

• Shannyn (7/5): If you want a great value for money stay and a view that is breathtaking this place is the place. - The view is worth $1millon especially from the top bedroom floor. We stayed in until 2 which wasn't pictured here and it was way better than we expected, we had a spa bath, 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. It's great value for money that makes the few small negatives worth it if you're looking for a budget stay with a great view. There was a lot of stairs, the town house has 5 levels if you have kids under I would say 8 this place probably isn't for you, I think the stairs should be mentioned in the description. We also woke every morning with ants and I mean 1000s of them, I noticed this was mentioned in an older review as well. While the place was pretty clean, the couch did seem to have some kinds of pet hair all on it and cushion without a cover and there were a few minor things that could of been cleaned with a better eye for detail which you expect when staying at accommodation. But overall this didn't stop us from enjoying the stay but they are worth mentioning for future clients looking to book so they are aware.

• S M Rubayet (5/5): Great view, poor house condition - Location, view from balcony and bedroom, host was very responsive, changed the tv to smart tv Lots of ants in the house, need proper pest control, equipments are old, dishwasher does not work properly, kitchen light does not work, tv was changed to smart tv, need more lights in the kitchen area, no aircon, only 1 fan provided which did not work properly, it will be challenging to stay there in hot summer days

• Michael (8/5): Great position, great views, comfortable stay - but great value for money is the big appeal here. - Excellent location, only a 5 to 10-minute walk to shops. Really lovely views, too, especially from main bedroom on top level. Undercover parking was much appreciated. Extraordinary value for money, which for us more than compensated for a couple of minor inconveniences. Just a few niggles ... Our stay was very comfortable, but some guests may be critical of the outdated decor. When we arrived, there were a couple of dozen dead flying-ants in the main bathroom's shower and on the floor. (So we swept them up, no great hardship!) The owners were quick to respond when I flagged this and were very regretful. And a pet hate of mine, the batteries in TV remote/s were dead, which is a bit of a pain when one arrives tired.

• Rachel (2/5): Very poor - Not a child friendly location. Apartment is split across 5 levels, and with a 2 year old child this caused a lot of stress. No air conditioning- top two levels get VERY hot, and it’s April so not even summer. Lots of ants- had to get rid of them daily. Not even just in food areas- ants in master bedroom.

• Joe (5/5): Loved the property, position & set up. TLC would turn it into a million dollars. - Convenient, walkable to everything. Great views. All the usual facilities inside & out, although limited in using kitchen facilities. Had to vacate early due to infestation of ants & spiders. In desperate need of a pest control and a major cleaning. Carpet needs cleaning. Blinds need replacing, do little to nothing for heat & light. Couches a little sticky, could also do with a clean.
• Luke (8/5): Very good - Location was amazing, with beautiful views over Merimbula. Lots of space over 4 floors, well appointed, bathrooms were like brand new and the entire apartment was very clean Covered car space No Air Conditioning. Neighbours in Unit 4. On the 2nd and 4th Nights, they smoked in their courtyard and balcony which blew their smoke into every room of the house, including the bedroom when trying to sleep. Also turned on loud music at midnight in the bedroom which woke us up, and were looking in our kitchen window on the 3rd Night.

• David (5/5): The pool area is fantastic. The view is fantastic. The top bedroom is extremely hot on the warmer nights. Unit six could - I’ve been coming to Pacific Heights for years. Unit six seems quite worn down. Nowhere during the booking process that it suggest both rooms had a double bed. Having been going to Pacific Heights for 20+ years the second bedroom has always had two singles. I was surprised when I saw two double beds as I was travelling with my two children

• Reinhold (2/5): As our experience with the hosts was absolutel awful we cannot recommend this place. - Location is acceptable. But that was it!!! Lisa Nimmo as the responsible person of Merimbula Holiday Rentals took 5.700 $ from our MasterCard for a booking that had been cancelled more than 3 months ago. The total, including Pacific Heights was nearly 11.000 $!!! Excuses from Lisa? None!!! But we were told that it was our mistake as we had booked and cancelled before. Never ever heard such a rubbish before! Refunding the money? Not possible as her daily limit was only 600 $. After nearly 4 weeks of fighting and more than 50 (!) phone calls and emails to Lisa and booking.com customers service we finally got our money back. During that time our holidays were truly bad to say the least. The final money-transfer came from booking.com not from the person responsible for the whole mass. A personal discussion with Lisa was not possible! Why? Besides that the accommodation was terribly run down. Even the simplest things like a toilet brush were not replaced. One day I got truly trapped in the shower as the sliding door broke down... The furniture like the sofas were dirty and full of stains. You would sit on them only with a blanket or towel underneath. Very very disappointing!
• Malcolm (8/5): Our stay was good. The unit was roomy with privacy between two couples. Two bathrooms was a bonus. - There was no breakfast. Location was very good. However, for elderly people like ourselves, the surrounding roads are very steep and a car is essential for daily movement. There was nothing we did not like. However, the driveway could do with additional lighting.

• Robert (9/5): very enjoyable - own breakfast. commanding location, and quite near town centre. well-equipped. private. There are 5 floor levels in the apartment and no lift, so you need to be able to tolerate stairs.

• Jennifer (8/5): Convenient location, great views. Would stay there again. - Location was very convenient, spacious for three adults. Great views of the water from living rooms and main bedroom. Quiet and comfortable. Wifi fast, puzzles supplied kept us busy. Fine for us, but worth noting that the townhouse is over four levels so for those with very small children or mobility issues it may be challenging. No streaming or catch up services on the TV as far as I could work out, only free to air TV.

• Kathryn (7/5): Great location with beautiful pool setting - The check in was quick and efficient. The contacts were very friendly and were very helpful when I contacted required information for medical assistance. The location and pool facilities were excellent and suited to our family. There was air conditioning listed on the website but not at the property. It was uncomfortable on the very hot nights that was still with no breeze. It shouldn't have been listed in booking.com. otherwise was great property, location and the appointed details.
• Celia (7/5): Needs some sprucing up. Has tons of potential. - It served its purpose. Loved the view. Great location and interesting layout. Had all the dishes,books etc that one would want. No air conditioner. Furniture was tired looking and warn out. The rug under the coffee table has lived its life and should be thrown out. One could trip on it. The pillows are shocking and the mattress isn’t great. There is also a steep incline if you want to reach the apartments if you decide to walk around the city.
• Robin (3/5): Improvements needed. - The kitchen was ok Smoke smell in the top bedroom wardrobe, no air con, shower head no good, unstable kitchen chair. In other words you need a revamp.
• Hartridge (8/5): Facilities were very gook. Good location and great views. - Good location Cleaners had not done a very good job. Cobwebs in the upstairs toilet,. Dusty beside and behind bedroom side tables and on top of bed. The cup-holder in the upstairs bathroom need re-fixing. The carpet on the stairs needs reattaching towards the top of the stairs as it becomes loose and could be a cause of a fall.
