Guest Reviews
- Randy (8/5): Great experience and comfortable location with a nice pool - Great location for us. Property was clean and safe Uncertain hours and availability of kitchen food
- Ilan (9/5): Beautiful - Loved the cozy cabin Soo Soo much. Would definitely book again in the near future. The small amount of time we spend.
- Linda (9/5): - Everything Pool was not operational. Went in anyway. Had water, pumps not on though
- Nicolette (10/5): - There were only two waters in the room, another hotel we stayed at gave us a full cooler and having that wouldve been better.
- Nicole (8/5): - The room was nice and spacious. All looked just like the photos. Things were clean, and staff answered questions. The highway noise is loud at times

- Linda (10/5): - Everything All was great
- Linda (10/5): - Everything It was all great 👍
- Annie (3/5): Don’t stay in the Spa Cabin…constant mold smell. - Bed was clean and comfy. Nice towels. Mold, mold. Anywhere in the world the little Spa Cabin stayed in would be condemmed. Opening windows and the door did little to fix the problem. The shower drain backs up . The only hotel in the world that does not supply coffee
- Cornelius (8/5): - I stayed for 1 night it was really good and comfortable, very clean.
Haven't tried the food though.
Highly recommended.
Thanks 🤗
- Johnny (9/5): Good cabins but expensive for the area. - Beautiful cabins, very peaceful and private. The smell of humidity inside the cabins and the toilet seat was loose. The food at the restaurant is very expensive in comparison with the surrounding areas. I recommend eating outside.
- Jolanta (6/5): - Labai daug grėsmės, ir kambaryje viskas drėgna, cia niekada nebuna saulės ir daug smelio musių, kaina auksta
- Hadie (9/5): - Kiki Witz is very a peaceful and relaxing location. The stream running behind my cabin was very calming.
You are surrounded by nature and the light pollution is low which gave us a wonderful view of the stars.

- Lambert - Degueldre (8/5): Top logement ! SUPER ! TOP LOGEMENT ! Le wifi était malheureusement faible. Seul point négatif.
- Hummel (10/5): -
- Amy (10/5): Great stay... Lazarus is the best! - The resort was quiet and in a great location for us. Lazarus was the absolute best and made sure our late arrival went smoothly.

- Gabriela (10/5): -
- Pasciento (10/5): There were enough parking space - It has Mother Nature touch. I like the Forest setting Didn't like how the sink was set up with a shelf right above it
- Scott (9/5): Had a great time and have stayed there several times. Definitely will return. - We liked the grounds, the rooms, and the location, close to Belmopan but out of the city.
- Marcela (9/5): Superb - Peaceful
- Gordon (9/5): Superb -
- Rose (7/5): Good - Nice grounds cute cabins Couldn’t use pool as it had been leased out for a college party. Dining area under Reno so not a great setup for meals felt closed. Ordered breakfast it was good but not great value.
- Schnorr (8/5): Very good - Friendly staff and excellent meal . . Only one night stay but we will definitely return. . .
Joe and Linda nothing Schnorr Nothing to mention... all as expected
- James (9/5): Great stay and nice staff. - It was right along the main road so you heard some road noise but it felt like you were far away from everything. Cool set up and felt like we had whole place to ourselves. The restaurant was closed
- Yannick (1/5): Avoid this place - Unfortunately, it was very disappointing experience.
I believe that it was once a nice place but those days are over. In one room, neither the toilet nor the shower was working. The other room was not properly cleaned (dead insects and used toothpicks lying around) and literally next to the highway (very noisy). There was no one at the place when we arrived apart from the cook who was nice but couldn't help us with these issues. The owner seemed indifferent. We ended up only staying for one night for which we were fully charged despite the major inconveniences (eg we couldn't go to the toilet!).
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Gerald (10/5): the staff is top notch the office clerk or day manager is a kind professional asset to the resort an the restaurant mana - clean comfortable
- Ted (8/5): Kikiwitz is fine, contact them directly. Booking.com sucks. - Nice property, and clean rooms Business hours only staff not convenient for travel days. Restaurant wasn't open. This is probably a complaint against booking.com. The villa we rented said it would only fit 4. It had a king bed, a queen bed, and a sleeper sofa, and could easily have slept the 5 in our party. booking.com would not allow that so we booked a camper cabin significantly increasing costs. Booking.com's website is horrible for communications if you are using more than two properties for a trip. Once you message a property, you can never message the other properties. Then you have to dig to find e-mails which are not displayed fully on the website or the app. I've used booking.com in the past for a single reservation, and that worked fine. I will never use them again for a multiple resort reservation again.
- Rachel (10/5): I would absolutely stay again but not without my own transportation. - The room was spacious and very comfortable and we loved the privacy of our own little cabin. The staff were all super friendly and helpful. We rented a car in Belize City and drove the 90 minutes to the resort ourselves, as shuttles to the property are very expensive and once you arrive there isn’t anything within walking distance. You can take the bus into Belmopan, but the freedom of having our own car was wonderful. This is a great home base for cave tubing and other jungle adventures and for visiting Mayan ruins. The restaurant only serves breakfast and it’s expensive- $20 US for a simple meal not including coffee. We received one bottle of water per person for a 3 night stay and had to pay for it after that. A water dispenser in the room or restaurant would have been much appreciated.
- Tammie (10/5): Excellent - Beautiful cabin, very clean, staff was amazing Lots of room to walk, nice pool
- Bianca (7/5): Overall the resort is beautiful and relaxing . We planning to go again some other time . - I liked the scenery with a lot of trees . The rooms were nice and the place was quiet and peaceful. Love the fact that they have a pool: . One of the cleaners was very nice and helpful I didn’t like that the restaurant and bar was closed that weekend so we had to go out to get food and drinks rather than just staying at the resort . Also when we needed assistance there was no one at the front desk.
- Martin (8/5): Very good -
- Eduardo (9/5): Superb -
- Rebecca (8/5): Very good -
- R (10/5): Exceptional - room was amazing
- Johanna (2/5): Very poor - Gardens Cabin was not clean, bed sheets were dirty, bathroom was not comfortable, cold water in the shower, WiFi didn’t work.
- Michelan (5/5): Passable -
- Barry (4/5): bed was just a foam mattress very budget for the money - The staff and cabin were nice I made my booking because it had a restaurant on site. I was tired from travelling. When I arrived I was told the restaurant was closed and I would have to go back into town to eat. I couldn't cancel or I would loose my money. The bed was just a foam mattress very budget for the money I paid. I would not stay again and booking.com needs to change it's policy for cancellations
- Ezequiel (10/5): Exceptional - The place is very beautiful, there is a river running across the resort and you sleep listening to the sound of the water. There is nothing to do in Belmopan city. We even have problems to find where to eat at 5:00 PM.
- Dan (1/5): Do not stay there! - Did not have breakfast. Everything. No resterant or bar. Bar had 6 beers thats it. No bottled water. Pool closed at 8:30. bathroom shower leaked all over the floor. Why those sidewalks havent broken someines leg is a wonder.
- Deonne (5/5): Passable -
- Ashley (10/5): Wonderful people and great stay! - The hostess was very accommodating. The unit was very nice and comfortable! The restaurant wasn’t open when we arrived but the hostess helped us order some food so it worked out.
- Marcia (9/5): Great location and beautiful property - The location was a perfect spot for exploring the Cayo District. It was only about a 25-min drive to our meeting spot for both excursions we completed. The staff was very responsive and the cabins were clean. An oven in the bigger unit that we reserved would have been nice; we borrowed the toaster oven from our daughters unit to cook dinner. I think they were anticipating that we eat/drink at their restaurant but we prefer to cook in. I honestly did not look that close at the posting when I reserved it but it would be a good convenience to include.
- Walter (7/5): Good - We didn’t eat breakfast there. The room was good. I liked the fridge so we could have cold water to drink. I didn’t like the mosquitoes.
- Ritchie (9/5): Quick stop for a little break - This is a good little break away outside of the Capital. Very cozy and the staff helpful. There can be a few bug around so just bring bug spray or repellant.
- Webster (8/5): Very good - No bar or restaurant facility
- Rustam (7/5): Good -
- Armelle (8/5): Very good -
- Esmeralda (9/5): Perfect for a little retreat! Family of 4. - We faced a few difficulties with communication because we were out of data in Belize and arrived very late to the resort. Still, we were greeted warmly and the lodge was fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
Nice bed, water, a small kitchen with the necessary appliances, and what was best, slightly secluded and surrounded by nature, so it was really nice for a long-awaited rest.
The restaurant was nice, breakfast was good. Due to the surrounding nature, there was a bit of dust on the surfaces, mostly notable on the restaurant tables. Otherwise, all was good.
Just be aware that the main highway is quite dark at night, people drive fast, and there are hardly any signs along the road. Most of these issues are related to the location rather than the resort itself.
- Kristen (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (1/5): Stay elsewhere - I liked that the property had a restaurant on site, which is why we booked it. However they closed the restaurant for the duration of our stay and only told us about this when we arrived. This hotel is remote and they should have given us notice that the restaurant would be closed so that we could have made other arrangements. We tried ordering food to be delivered but they couldn’t find us as the front desk closed at night. There’s a nearby grocery store but it provides only the absolute basics. Don’t stay here if you you’re looking for a relaxing jungle retreat with a restaurant. I didn’t appreciate that they promoted themselves as having a restaurant onsite and then failed to let us know that the restaurant would be closed for the duration of our stay. They only told us as we arrived. Also, I was expecting a peaceful and quiet jungle retreat. They are near the airport and so you hear planes taking off constantly. The groundskeeper also woke us up early one morning when he decided to use a leaf blower around our bungalow around 8am. We could have stayed at Sattva or Jaguar but instead chose this place thinking it would be more convenient. It certainly was not. If you enjoy eating cereal for dinner and listening to propeller planes landing around the clock, this is this place for you.
- Charroll (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lavonna (9/5): Superb -
- Gabriela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lemon (8/5): Very good - Staff was friendly, lots of grounds to wander
- Rebecca (1/5): DON'T GO - I was captivated by the exquisite exterior of the place, which radiates a remarkable beauty. The cabins, in particular, exude a delightful fragrance that adds an extra layer of charm to the overall experience. In my review, I would express my dissatisfaction with the experience at this particular place in Belize. Here's a revised version of your feedback:
My stay at this establishment was unfortunately my worst time in Belize. The management was chaotic, leading to a series of unpleasant incidents. The most glaring issue was the incredibly delayed food service—my order arrived a staggering 2 hours and 30 minutes later. To add to the frustration, I had to argue for the meals I had already ordered.
The problems persisted as they don't offer tabs; instead, you're required to pay on the spot, and settling the check took an exasperating 20 minutes each time. A particularly absurd incident involved being charged $36 CAD for a basic ice cream, with no prior mention that each scoop cost $5. When I brought it to the co-owner's attention, she callously remarked, 'Oh, you don't have money? I'll take it.' This was not only rude but also insensitive to my earlier communication about my card issues and limited cash flow. (My visa card wasn't working at their place)
The overall demeanor of the co-owner, a woman with a stressful energy, contributed to the negative atmosphere. Despite expressing my desire for a quiet and solitary dining experience, I had to endure cold eggs and an unwelcome attempt at conversation. It's clear that the stressful energy extended to the staff, particularly the barman, making the environment uncomfortable.
The lack of basic amenities, such as extra blankets on a cold night, and the absence of staff at the reception during the night further diminished my experience. The proximity to the road added noise, making it unpleasant for light sleepers.
Even when seeking solutions to my concerns, I was met with promises to get back to me that were never fulfilled. Transparency about not having a solution would have been more appreciated.
- Betsy (9/5): Quiet retreat, good base camp to explore Mayan ruins, etc. - The grounds were lush and tropical. Meals: Breakfast was excellent. Lunch also tasty, with a full snapper and fresh green salad. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Our cottage was quiet and private. Comfortable beds. We loved the dog Kiki, who was a sweet and very alert watch dog on the property. Minor things: the bar didn’t stock soft drinks (Diet Coke, etc.) , so limited drink options. Pool towels had seen better days. Bathroom lighting poor. Also the dining room has limited hours for dinner. But its a small resort so you’re not with a crush of people, and other guests were friendly. Overall very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Not overly fancy, but thats what we liked about it.
- Agnes_nj (9/5): Excellent location, wonderful staff - Great location, close to Hummingbird Highway and many interesting sites, incl. Xunantunich Archeological Site, Blue Hole, Billy Barquedier, Mayflower National Parks, even Hopkins is in a drivable distance. The restaurant and bar on site wasn't operating but there are many places within a 10 minute drive in Belmopan. It's a very small "resort" with just about 10 rooms, right on the highway, so the traffic noise can be heard but it's not too bad at night.
- Sven (9/5): Nice place. We were on our way to Placencia and didn’t want to drive at night. This was a great stopover. We could easi - Cute, clean, cabanas. Good location if traveling from Belize City.
The property is gorgeous and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was closed when we got there around 7pm. Also there is a bit of road noise at night.
- Ritchie (9/5): Great rest stop - The small comfortable appeal of the little wooden homes. Feels cozy, seem much larger inside than out. Staff was super friendly, meals decently priced. Chef was awesome 👍😎
Fast wifi. Great dining location. Wish the room had a night light. The pool seems like it could have used some maintenance.
- Christopher (9/5): Superb - Nice people, nice atmosphere
- Todd (8/5): Nice overnight stay with friends. - The accomodations and grounds were nice.We were not told about the restaurant closing at 7:00 and we arrived for dinner at 6:30.Very long wait due to being eight of us.I will say the fajitas were delicious but need to be served with tortillas. We had a nice breakfast the next morning though. The dinner experience.
- Addie (7/5): Not a destination, but a nice stop if needing a place by Belmopan - The property was cute and was in a good location off the main hwy in Belmopan. The cabin was perfect for our last night, and the staff was so welcoming. Our dinner the chef made us was delicious!! Part of the reason I booked was because it said there was a kitchen but the stovetop didn’t work. It looked brand new but not 100 % set up yet. If we had asked the staff I’m sure they would have helped any way they could.
- Michael (8/5): Very good -
- Patrick (8/5): Very good -
- Michaelle (9/5): Very Nice Central Location - Staff and service were 5 star, friendly and helpful! Everything was very clean! The pool is large clean and very nice with a waterfall. Our cabin was roomy. Good water pressure in the shower and plenty of hot water. Perfect location for visiting cave tubing at Nooch Che'en, minutes away. Also, Art Box was very close, the zoo is about 20 minutes away. Restaurant served delicious dinners! The mattress.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marlo (9/5): Comfortable and peaceful. - The room versatility was good. The staff was good but because I visited during Christmas holidays I feel like I had to look for staff more due to Holidays off but I guess it is to be expected, but I could not easily access services, also I was in a group with my brother’s family and my brother seemed to get better amenities and complimentary things like free breakfast while my party was asked to pay. This didn’t sit well with me at all. KiliWitz would have a perfect rating with me if not for this.
- Paul (6/5): Pleasant - Restaurant/bar was excellent. Christon was superb. Location was good Too close to highway, rooms unfinished, old beds. Slow service
- J (10/5): Exceptional -
- Smardero (9/5): Superb - Everything, is a great place. Nothing
- Connie (10/5): This is always our first stop when we come to Belize. - It is always clean and well maintained. The staff always makes sure our stay is perfect. We are vegan and they always are able to accommodate. This trip in particular, had an amazing dinner cooked up by David. Kiki Witz never disappoints.
- Jeff (6/5): Pleasant -
- Rajeeva (4/5): Rooms too small with very poor room service - Location Service sucks
- Shanice (8/5): Excellent value for money in Belmopan - I had an opportunity to upgrade my room n I'm glad I did because the deluxe room i got was beyond comfortable and welcoming. I even decided to stay an extra nigh. I didn’t want to leave. The ac and bed though were easily the highlight of this comfortable space N/a
- Jdl (9/5): Great place. Good people. Very recommended - Cleanliness and location Front desk hours. No notice of working hours. Attention after hours for late check-in.
- Homero (10/5): Exceptional -
- Homero (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stan (10/5): Great place, very quiet and cozy. 100% recomendable! - Beautiful place, tranquil and cozy. We only spent a night, so unfortunately we could not try the whole place. Will stay there again soon.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sabido (8/5): Nice villas. - Very natural N\A
- Kelsey (8/5): Very good -
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dirk-jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gwendolyn (10/5): Relaxing and tranquil. - Quiet and peaceful love the ambience.
- Jon (7/5): It was comfortable enough with a very nice staff, but if you need internet for work, not good. - Very good breakfast. Very pleasant staff. Very limited menu in the restaurant. WIFI was off completely for about a day, and was very weak in our room when it was working.
- Rajeeva (5/5): Very average - Poor service Too far to walk
- Dirk-jan (10/5): Relaxing stay with my wife at Kiki Witz resort - The property is well-maintained and has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff is trying to do everything to make the guest happy! We initially stayed in the Spa room, an amazing cabin with a beautiful view of the jungle towards the river. Due to our extended stay, we had to move to another cabin for our last night, which was super cute as well with a beautiful view over an open area. We can't wait to return again! We in particular miss the servicer of Khalid, who was going far above expectation in getting drinks ready for our arrival every day, getting cheese platters arranged, and more. Honestly, all was really good. There was a storm that impacted the WiFi, but the technical team cam to fix that an hour later, so couldn't have asked for a better service :-)
- Aileen (4/5): Would probably not stay here again - The place was cozy and away from others There was dirt piled up under the rug and the wifi hardly worked in the cabin.
