• Marjan (9/5): Ontzettend fijn verblijf in een mooie omgeving. - Het was een heel mooi en rustig gelegen complex. Ik had een heel ruime kamer en het ontbijt was lekker. Fijn was dat er een tuin bij is met een patio waar je lekker rustig kan zitten. Ook is er een keuken waar je zelf iets klaar kunt maken. Ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Ik heb altijd wat moeite met onpersoonlijk inchecken met behulp van code. Het complex ligt iets van het centrum van Antigua, maar er rijden voldoende Ubers.
• Sterenn (9/5): - Maison sécurisé, au calme très paisible. Lieu facilement accessible en tuk tuk ou uber (30Q un aller), de plus les uber arrivent en même pas 1min. Chambre spacieuse. Un frigo est disponible ce qui est très pratique. Literie très confortable. Super balcon avec vue volcans (Pour la chambre Mint). Personnel très acceuillant. Petits déjeuner délicieux. Eau de la douche qui s'evacuait mal mais sinon rien tout était au top.

Nos prepararon box de desayuno muy amablemente ya que salíamos muy temprano el último día. Como sugerencia, sería bueno que hubiera cafetera disponible en la habitación.Esta ubicado en un condominio a cierta distancia del centro, para quien no va en auto, se debe considerar uber o tuk tuk sobretodo a la noche ya que hay un trecho del camino que no se ve seguro.

Bien situé un peu en retrait de la ville dans une rue résidentielle calme et sécurisée. A 5 min à pied d'un mall et d'un centre commercial. Maximum 30 Q en uber pour le centre ville d'Antigua.

• Victoria (10/5): Aconchegante e tranquila - Funcionários simpáticos, fácil contato, café da manhã maravilhoso e o quarto muito limpo e confortável! Além de ser um lindo lugar com um belo jardim. Pouco relevante perto de tudo que foi maravilhoso, mas é mais distante do centro, pra quem planeja economia, pode valer menos a pena pelo gasto com deslocamento até o centro.

• Niva (9/5): Beautiful place. Super clean and comfy. Great breakfast. - The property is amazing. The rooms and the main area is so beautiful and convenient. The beds were super comfy. The bathroom was huge. It felt very safe. As we were a big group, it was nice to have a shared area where we can all hang out. The team was super helpful and fulfilled any of our requests. The breakfast was very good. There is also a mall nearby (4 min walk), which was very convenient for dinner/shopping. It is not in the center of Antigua. It is 25 min walk or you can take Uber for 3-4 dollars. It was still a great solution for us, as we were a large group.
• Rupert (9/5): - Communication with Santa Margarita was superb. They arranged a well-priced transfer from Guatemala City Airport for us in their very smart Mercedes van. Our room and bathroom were huge. The staff were great. The property is very nice and on a quiet residential street. Part of me was a little disappointed not to be staying in the heart of Antigua, but after a five-minute, four-dollar Uber ride you are back in the tranquility of Santa Margarita. Only other small thing was that the shower wasn't the best.

She was very professional, as well as warm and open, and she made me feel welcome in your Casa. I have been in the hotel business in Florida and California for many years. I was married to a Senior VP of 27 hotels who was Austrian, and we travelled extensively and stayed at many of the finest hotels. Casa Santa Margarita is my favorite. I was in PR in NY, Florida, CA and Europe. I launched hotels and other large Projects. Today, I have a Company that is going to market top of the line Guatamala and El Salvador Coffee to affluent markets in the USA, especially Naples, Florida, where I am from. Naples has many luxury hotels and resorts. The gourmet coffee market is huge. We have an amazing Marketing Plan. My Company is helping children globally with a Catholic Media Network and Fintech Platform. My Partner, Predrag Nikolik, is formerly with Microsoft, where he was a Software Engineer for over 15 years. I would like to share it with you, if you may be interested. I can even stay and share it with you or return, at your convenience. I currently am staying in Santa Ana El Salvador, for due diligence and meetings. Finally, I would like to add one more important review. A branch of a large tree in front of the Garden Room where I am staying broke off and fell to the ground, in front of my door. It was loud and scary. Andrea handled it with great calm and courtesy. She had professionals there right away and was cheerful while being focused. I was confident she had things under control. I think she is an amazing asset to Casa Santa Margarita. I will share all of these reviews and even photos with my friends in Salvador and Florida. (The furniture is exceptional and everything is beautiful while not being overstated. Only one minor improvement is needed. Grab bars in the bathroom and shower.

• Thomas (10/5): Traditionelles, neue, renoviertes Haus im Grünen - Sehr schönes, neu renoviertes, traditionelles Haus. Tolle Lage mit grünem Garten, in einem abgetrennten Wohngebiet. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl und zu Hause. Alles ist blitzsauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Bei Gelegenheit werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier wohnen. Um auch hier etwas zu sagen: die Steckdosen waren ein bisschen knapp. Aber damit kann man leben.

• AMANDINE (7/5): Très bien ! - La chambre était hyper spacieuse avec une auteur sous plafond impressionnante, tout comme la salle de bain ! Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique. Il y a plusieurs choix de petits déjeuners qui sont très bons. Il y a une terrasse en hauteur qui permet d'apercevoir le volcan Fuego (boire mon thé ici était mon plaisir du matin!). Attention, cela se situe à 30 minutes à pieds du centre ville. C'est tout à fait faisable mais il faut le savoir. Sinon, en tuktuk cela vous prendra 5 minutes !

Quiet neighborhood not far from city center. Poor communication regarding the self-check in code, no response while trying to check in to calls and texts to the customer service WhatsApp number initially provided, requests for payment after I had paid, evident miscommunication between team members. Breakfast is very good, but be aware that it is a list of set menu choices, ie, if you have the omelette you cannot add fruit without incurring an additional charge.

• Ordonez (10/5): Espectacular! - La casa es un epectaculo y los cuartos muy cómodos y amplios! Todo el personal muy amable y el servicio de transporte del hotel es 10/10! El desayuno delicioso y aunque un poco lejos del centro la ubicación es perfecta, lejos del caos y la cantidad de gente. La ducha no calentaba tanto como me hubiera gustado y en la época que fuimos hace algo de frio. El Wifi del hotel en la habitación no funcionaba, pero en la zonas comunes si.

• Jamie (10/5): - Amazing!! We booked the Luxury Master Suite for two nights. Such an amazing room!! Very clean. Hot water. The breakfast was yummy. I would recommend this place to anyone. Loved the gated community. It was a pretty far walk from downtown but the tuk tuk rides were pretty cheap to get down there. I was able to see Fuego erupting from the outside balcony! This stay was way cheaper than our dirty, uncomfortable hotel room we rented the next day downtown.

• Raymond_AVR (9/5): Beautiful imperfect - Super helpful and friendly staff. Clean and comfortable room as part of a colonial style modern house. A rooftop above the rooms over the inner garden, besides the main building, there are metal chairs and tables to chull out and watch the view of the surroundings. Guests accessing that area during late night hours or early morning usually is noisy due to them moving around the metal tables and the chairs difficulting or interrupting sleep.

• Christian (8/5): Alles top in Ordnung. Eventuell noch der Hinweis, dass die Anlage etwas abgelegener zum Zentrum ist (etwa 1.5 - 2 km). E - Gute Lage, wunderschöne Anlage, freundlicher Staff. Die Anlage ist 100% Nichtraucher. Das ist absolut ok. Da ich aber gerne abends mal eine Zigarette zum Bierchen rauche, hätte mich eine kleine Raucherecke noch zufriedener gemacht.

• Teréz Anna (10/5): Lovely surroundings, friendly atmosphere and tranquility - I especially appreciated the attentive, friendly, generous and professional staff, the beautiful, quiet, and tranquil natural surroundings, and the comfortable bed. I find rain showers without a hand shower particularly inconvenient and unpleasant. I don't believe they offer any luxury or water-saving benefits—in fact, quite the opposite. I would prefer to have a hand shower or both rain and hand showers. I would have loved a breakfast option with fruits and eggs.
• Ronz8in (9/5): - This is a beautiful, peaceful, very quiet place to stay in Antigua! The beds are very soft cozy and comfortable, and the staff are really wonderful, kind, and attentive! Breakfast is made fresh every morning from a nice selection. My room smelled of pine and cedar, and you have use of a full kitchen and seating to self-cater if needed. The water infrastructure is not quite up to the standards of the room facilities. The water pressure is very weak in the shower and the water heater is not able to fill the beautiful bathtub even 1/2 way.
• Nadine (10/5): - Die Unterkunft ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und es hat alles, was man braucht. Das Personal ist so freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns nach der Vulkanwanderung die Wäsche gewaschen, obwohl sie fast keine Zeit mehr hatten. Also echt super Service. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

• Viviane (9/5): - Las instalaciones son impecables. La casa es súper hermosa, la habitación es enorme y muy cómoda; la ducha también, ¡increíble! El desayuno es muy rico y el personal es un 1000: muy amables y atentos. La casa no está en el centro, pero puedes caminar unos 15 minutos o coger un Uber sin problema.

Wifi didn't work in the luxury suite due to thick walls. 10-15 from town, however you can walk or take an Uber.
• Maria C Lipko (9/5): Beautiful property; weak internet - Beautiful property and nice staff. Internet is not reliable in the main areas. The internet doesn't work in some of the rooms or has very weak signal (I stayed in two different rooms). I was asked to work in living room, which i did, but signal wasn't always reliable. I work remote so this was inconvenient. 10 minutes from town.

• Carbajal (10/5): - I like the location, the staff, the cleanliness, the decor etc. The only thing that I think needs improvement on is the plumbing. The room we stayed in had very low water pressure and the plumbing was loud. Thats it. Everything else was wonderful.
