- Naomi (10/5): Great well appointed and appealing place to stay for a visit to Trieste area - Very nicely renovated apartment in a nice outer neighborhood of Trieste. Excellent recommendations from the host Parking was a little tricky but we got in late at night on a Saturday night. Probably fine at other times. Bottom floor is a little big dank but that is to be expected in an ancient house like this.

Host was absolutely amazing and had many great suggestions about what to see and eat. Contovello is charming and well connected to Triest and nearby towns, so it is a great starting point for your adventures.

- Lisa (10/5): - Casa Contovello is a beautiful three story house with old wooden beams restored, it has a new modern kitchen and comfortable beds. The house is located in a small village on the Mountain side. If you are not driving Trieste city centre can be reached easily by buses that leave a stop about three minutes walk from the property. There is a beautiful walk down to Miramar Castle and you can also access the beach to cool off on Sunny days via this walk too. The host is very helpful and was there to help and answer any questions we had.

- Janina (9/5): A perfect stay - The house had perfect blend of modern and local authentic. Our young children were - just as the adults, super happy with the house and the feeling it gave us. Our stay was too short, but we went on a beautiful nature walk and want to come back do experience more. The owner was super helpful and nice.

- Nancy (9/5): Authentiek Italiaans huisje in een rustige omgeving - Wat een leuk en schattig huisje 😍. In een echt Italiaans dorpje en heerlijk rustig ( geen andere toeristen gezien). We hebben lekker geslapen en heerlijk kunnen koken in de keuken, helemaal top! De slaapzolder vond ik het mooist wat een heerlijke ruimte. De eigenaresse was super behulpzaam en heeft ons direct geholpen toen we geen warm water hadden. Wat een service 👍 Niks
