• Philipp (10/5): Unser Aufenthalt im Rosegarden View war perfekt – eine wunderschöne Unterkunft - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Rosegarden View in Velas rundum genossen. Die Ferienwohnung übertrifft jede Erwartung: Sie ist makellos sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet, mit einer komplett eingerichteten Küche, gemütlichem Wohnbereich und komfortabler Klimaanlage. Ideal für einen entspannten Urlaub. Die Gastgeberin war besonders aufmerksam und herzlich: Sie versorgte uns mit hausgemachten Keksen sowie guten Lokalen Ausflugstipps und sorgte dafür, dass wirklich alles passt. Auch die Schlüsselübergabe und das Parken am Haus funktionierten reibungslos.

• Ilya (10/5): - A wonderful location that we would love to return to! Thank you for an unforgettable vacation in San Jorge. We received the keys even a little earlier than the official check-in time, the owner was very friendly and explained everything carefully. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We spent 5 unforgettable days there. Even when the weather was rainy, we were happy to stay in the apartment. The view from the window is always different and always amazing. When the weather is good, you can see the island and Pico volcano (even better than from Pico Island itself). For travelers by car, it's easy to get to the nearest store and restaurant. The drive from the airport takes no more than 10 minutes. We highly recommend this place!
• Jochen (10/5): Die perfekte Unterkunft ! - Die Unterkunft ist einfach perfekt ! Sie ist nicht nur modern und sehr schön eingerichtet, sondern vor allem auch funktionell. Es ist alles da, was man in einer Ferienwohnung benötigt. Der Ausblick auf der Terrasse ist überwältigend und zentral liegt die Wohnung auch noch. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin ist unkompliziert und sie ist stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Die Ferienwohnung ist auch groß genug, um mit mehr als 2 Personen dort Urlaub zu machen. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt ! absolut nichts !

• Marco (10/5): Ein perfekter & gemütlicher Aufenthalt - Wir waren Mitte September für 4 Nächte in der oberen Wohnungen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und bietet alles was man braucht. Der Ausblick ist traumhaft, die Sonnenuntergänge sind ebenfalls faszinierend. Die Wohnung ist super sauber und top ausgestattet. Das Bett ist super bequem und groß. Zudem ist die Wohnung wirklich sehr gut Schall isoliert. Zu erreichen ist die Unterkunft mit Taxi und Mietwagen. Da wir kein Mietauto hatten haben wir alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Taxi erledigt.

• Stephanie (10/5): Romantic, luxury stay. Highly recommend. - Very clean and modern. Quiet place to come back to after exploring the island during the day. Place was romantic and would easily cost a lot more in a different country. Would come back here, and highly recommend this place. Lucy dropped off a homemade dessert that was delicious. I didn't realize when we booked (though it's disclosed on the booking) that the view from this place on the property is partially obstructed by another place on the same property. However, we moved the outdoor chairs and table to the right most area and could enjoy a view of Pico and the ocean from that spot. Had a hard time figuring out how to use the induction stove and change the temperature to hot in the shower but a little bit of googling and we were able to figure it out. Just mentioning it so that others know that the water does get very hot, you just need to turn the shower handle in the right way and press a little button to turn it to extra hot.

• Barbara (10/5): Sehr schöne Wohnung in optimaler Lage auf Sao Jorge! - Die Lage von Rosegarden View ist perfekt für alle Unternehmungen. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Nebenstraße. Man ist in 15 Minuten am Fährhafen und in weniger als 10 Minuten am Flughafen. Keine 5 Minuten entfernt liegt Urzelina, ein kleines Städtchen, das uns sehr gefallen hat. Dort gibt es eine schöne Badebucht sowie am Campingplatz ein prima Schwimmbecken, dass auch von Nicht-Gästen für 1,-- € benutzt werden kann. Unser Appartment lag im ersten Stock und war in jeglicher Hinsicht sehr gut ausgestattet. Handtücher werden in großer Zahl bereitgestellt. Die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut, das Bett ist sehr bequem. Vom überdachten Balkon aus hat man einen tollen Blick auf's Meer und die Insel Pico. Die Gastgeberin Lucy war ausgesprochen um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht, fragte täglich nach, ob etwas gebraucht würde. Wenn ja, wurde es innerhalb kürzester Zeit bereitgestellt, z. B. Kaffeekapseln. Wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder wählen. Nichts.

Stunning views of Pico and Faial, with the most charming terrace. Very convenient reserved parking (which is not something to take for granted in the island)

• Jonas (10/5): Schöne Ferienunterkunft mit traumhaftem Ausblick und sehr netten Gastgebern - Wir haben hier 3 Nächte verbracht, um auf der Insel alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen. Die Unterkunft bietet viel Platz für zwei Personen, kann aber auch ohne Probleme mit mehr Personen genutzt werden. Die Ausstattung sowohl in der Küche, als auch im Rest der Unterkunft lässt keine Wünsche offen und die Raumausstattung ist sehr schön aufeinander abgestimmt. Die Wohnung bietet von Schlaf- und Wohnzimmer Meerblick und bei guter Sicht ist auch die Insel Pico inklusive des gleichnamigen Berges ersichtlich. Dass unser Urlaub bereits nach 3 Tagen vorüber war :)
• Christian (10/5): Séjour mémorable ! - Séjour idéal dans une maison pleine de charme façon chalet, une très belle salle de bain, des lits très confortables, et une cuisine bien équipée avec tous les ustensiles nécessaires. Climatisation disponible, avec un split dans la pièce principale et un autre dans la chambre. Dehors une terrasse avec une très belle vue sur le mont Pico. Le jardin est une petite merveille avec un bassin fonctionnel, un banc, un coin barbecue avec table et chaises. L'accueil de Lucy et sa famille ainsi que Diana a été très chaleureux et Lucy a veillé à ce que tout se passe bien. En bref un séjour mémorable ! Tout était parfait
• Tea (10/5): - The apartment is really nice and spotless clean. Kitchen is really well equiped, you have everything you might need, there is even an airfrier. The whole accomodation has a lot of small details and you can easily notice all the love that was put into decorating the whole house. There is also some wine available to purchase in the apartment in case you miss the open time of the supermarket :) A lot of information about the island and some island maps are also available. There is also a big balcony with the direct view on Pico island and Pico mountain. Free parking is available on site. Good location, a few min drive from the airport and port. Staff is also really nice. Very responsive and kind.

• Francois (9/5): Très bel aménagement - Le très joli aménagement de la maison du fond et du petit jardin (avec un bassin et des grenouilles !) : c’est très chouette et bien aménagé, on s’y sent tout de suite chez soi ! Bel emplacement pour visiter São Jorge. Une machine à laver le linge serait un plus indéniable. La maison du fond n’a pas de vue sur Pico hélas, mais sur le mur blanc de la maison suivante (voir 3e photo).

• Marian (9/5): Superb - The Rosegarden View is one of the best places to stay on Sao Jorge! Having traveled several times to Sao Jorge, we will definitely be back to visit! Our host was personable and friendly, and treated us like family. The modern apartment was very clean, well-decorated with a thoughtful touch in its details, and provided a fully-equipped kitchen, beautiful open-spaced bathroom, and a lovely bedroom with a very, very comfortable bed! The balcony from the living room and bedroom boasts a beautiful view of the water and overlooks the town. We had dinner al fresco on the terrace several nights. Our host was communicative and informed us of various holiday activities on the island. She gave excellent recommendations for restaurants and even brought us some traditional homemade fish stew (which was so so good!). We will be back soon - thank you, Lucy!
• Ioana (10/5): Exceptional - Lucy's Rosegarden was the perfect place for us to unwind and relax on this peaceful island. The whole island has a calm and quiet atmosphere, and the accommodation fits right in. It was clean, very comfortable, and had everything needed for a restful stay. Parking is available inside the premises, the kitchen is well equipped and the terrace has a very nice view over Pico. Lucy was very caring and attentive. She made sure everything was just right and she even brought us home made cookies. If you're looking for a tranquil getaway in a beautiful, quiet setting, this is the place to be.

The property was so clean, had stunning views of Mt Pico and Faial, beautiful interior decoration with pristine and modern appliances, comfortable bed and furniture, as well as great and easy parking. Lucy was so accommodating, and made the check-in process so smooth despite our cancelled/delayed flights. She also provided us with delicious fruits, cheese, honey, and coffee 😍 Nothing!

Even washed clothes and could keep our luggage before our flight. Would recommend this for anyone and definitely come back. Pretty full equipped Appartments and beautiful view over Pico.

• Y (10/5): Awesome! - The house is very big and has got everything in it. The view from the balconey is amazing. The hostest is realy nice and welcoming. She helped me get a rental car and the car was there in 30 minuets. She also gave me the best recommendation where to go visit. I had a great time. i stayed in the property for 2 nights. It was so quiet and calm. It was a bit expensive but i did enjoy it a lot. I recommand it highly! It's a bit pricey.
• James (10/5): Wonderful stay at a beautiful and modern location. - The Rosegarden is an exceptional place with wonderful amenities, and caters very well to people visiting Sao Jorge. The views of Pico and Faial across the water are amazing to wake up to, and the screened balcony doors let you listen to the sounds of nature all night. Air conditioning, kitchen appliances, a fully appointed bathroom, and possible accommodations for four make this perfect for a couple like my wife and I. The owner was very helpful, including helping us get a rental car last minute! We will be recommending The Rosegarden to our friends, and we will certainly be staying again the next time we visit.
