It was like the private national park:)The accomodations are comfortable, spacious, and have a well-equipped kitchen. If we ever return to Cahuita, we will definitely return to the same place. n/a

Alle meine Fragen und Bitten wurden von Andrea & Samuel sehr freundlich und freundschaftlich beantwortet und gelöst. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und schmeckte sehr gut. In meinem Zimmer hatte ich viel Platz und ich fühlte mich sehr dort sehr wohl. Cabinas Álgebra bieten eine sehr gutes Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis. Ich würde diese Unterkunft allen empfehlen. • Gabriele (10/5): - Ein unglaublicher toller Ort, um zu verweilen. Die Herzlichkeit und Gastfreundlichkeit von Andrea und ihrem Sohn, Samuel, sind umwerfend. Wir haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohl und zu Hause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist mit viel Grün umgeben und liegt nicht weit vom karibischen Meer. Außerdem sind die Werte, die von Andrea und Samuel im Umgang mit Menschen und der Natur vertreten, um u.a. das Land nachhaltig zu erhalten, wunderbar! Noch ein Wort zu Samuel: Er beeindruckt mit seiner positiven, umwerfenden Art, mit Lebensfreude und dem Engagement für den Schildkrötenschutz. Weiter so. • Stanislava (10/5): - Apartmány jsou v krásné zahradě, mají terasu s posezením a hamakou. Velice milý a ochotný personál, výborná snídaně. V restauraci se dal i naobědvat nebo navečeřet a vaří výborně. Cca 100 m se nachází dlouhá pláž.

The garden is a gem, beautifully cared for, and full of wildlife, including sloths and howler monkeys. Samuel told us that he helped build a bridge to allow them to move around freely. The whole place gives a deep sense of peace, and we all slept incredibly well. Just a few minutes away, there is a beautiful, unspoiled beach. The hosts are incredibly friendly and genuinely curious people, and you can really feel how they embrace the pura vida lifestyle. We felt very welcome from the start. They shared the story behind the name and the place and gave us plenty of useful tips for getting around. Además, la atención de Andrea y Samuel es destacable, inmediato sabíamos que queriamos volver a este lugar. • Georg (10/5): - Hübsche kleine Wohneinheiten an der karibischen Küste, sehr günstig, mit unglaublich warmherzigen Gastgebern Andrea und ihrem Sohn Samuel, die hilfreiche Tipps zur Programmgestaltung geben und alle Fragen ausführlich beantworten. Uns wurde der Nationalpark Cahuita empfohlen, den wir eigentlich nicht auf dem Programm hatten, weil wir vorher schon so viele Nationalpaks in Costa Rica besucht haben. Wir gingen doch hin, weil dort auch ein Strand integriert ist - und alles kostenlos ist. Diese Erfahrung wurde zum Höhepunkt unserer Zeit in diesem wunderschönen Land. Wir haben da einige Affenfamilien gesehen, die ganz nah kommen, Waschbären mit ihren Kleinen beobachtet, mitten im Wald, auf einem Kokosbaum und beim "Stehlen" unserer Gegenstände :-). Ein Krokodil zeigte sich, Panzerkrebse, ein Riesenleguan, Faultiere - schlafend und auch fressend, einige Vogelarten. Einfach unvergesslich! Unsere vier Kinder waren in einer eigenen Wohneinheit mit 4 Betten mit Küche, bei der kein Frühstück inklusive ist - sie haben trotzdem ein Frühstück erhalten und das kostenlos. Wirklich großartig! - und das Lob der Gastgeber und ihrer Kochkünste kein bisschen übertrieben, eine klare Empfehlung, es einfach zu probieren. Sie haben uns angeboten, dass die von unserer Tochter vergesse kleine Tasche zu ihnen geschickt wird und sie diese einem der deutschen Gäste nach Deutschland mitgeben. Gastfreundschaft und Herzlichkeit einfach enorm! Auch der Garten ist schön angelegt. Ganz klar - uneingeschränkte Empfehlung, ein toller Ort, wir sind rundum zufrieden - so schade, dass wir nicht länger bleiben konnten. Sollten wir mal in Costa Rica sein, gehört dieser Ort bei uns auf jedem Fall zu einem MUSS. Danke!!

The owners (Andrea and Samuel) were wonderful hosts, very friendly, helpful and warm-hearted, passionate about neture. The food in the restaurant was delicious and nicely presented. • Lutz (7/5): Gutes Preisleistungsverhältniss - Tolle Lage schön ruhig und freundliche Besitzer. Die nähe zum fast menschenleeren Strand war toll. Die Cabinas waren sehr simpel, jedoch nicht super einladend um viel zeit darin zu verbringen, was durch die tolle umgebung aber auch nicht nötig ist.

Es hat einen wunderschönen Garten rund um das Bungalow mit Vögeln und Affen. Es hat einen langen wilden Strand, an dem man wunderschön spazieren kann. Cahuita ist ruhig und verschlafen- sehr angenehm. Das Essen im Restaurant bananas war ebenfalls sehr gut!

• Stefanie (10/5): - Wunderschöner Garten mit großer Artenvielfalt. Wir haben direkt vor der Tür Faultiere, Gürteltiere, Agutis, Pfeilgiftfrösche, Kolibris, Glühwürmchen, Schmetterlinge und Echsen gesehen, auch Tukane, Brüllaffen und vieles mehr. Und Ruby Tuesday und die Katze nicht zu vergessen :) Saisonbedingt hatten wir großes Glück und durften dank Samuel auch Babyschildkröten bewundern :). Andrea und Samuel sind tolle und sehr liebenswerte Gastgeber, wir fühlten uns sehr zu Hause und haben ein Tränchen verdrückt, als die Reise zu Ende ging. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Sehr zu empfehlen ist auch das super leckere Essen im Restaurant Bananas, mein Favorit war das Fischcurry, sehr lecker und kreativ angerichtet!!

• Poul (9/5): Really nice place to stay for a few days on a budget and eat well. - Breakfast was on order and what I had was really good. Very quiet beach nearby. Lovely garden, almost jungle-like in the corners, nice. Lots of plants and you could see different animals. Mosquito-net provided,, good! but not many mosquitoes anyways. Terrace with hammock, very enjoyable. Good people running the place. Room was basic and old, which is ok. Don't expect too much. Quite dark and dull. Easy to hear loud room-neighbors.
• Patricia (10/5): Superbe séjour - L'accueil des hôtes. Ils sont très accueillants et bienveillants. Donnent aussi des conseils. La nourriture à leur restaurant est excellente,le menu diversifié . Le curry est juste wow! ça nous évite de retourner au village qui est un peu éloigné des cabanes Algebra. Les petits déjeuners étaient inclus dans notre forfait, c'était parfait et très bon.Chambre basique avec hamac extérieur. Endroit très propre et calme. Quel privilège de se réveiller aux sons des oiseaux et singe hurleur. La playa grande de 6km est fantastique et déserte. Les taxis et autobus sont accessibles pour faire la découverte de la côte. Rien! Tout était parfait.

También me gusta que tenían áreas verdes y estaban muy lindas. El lugar es bastante accesible ya que es todo de una planta, solo el baño tiene una grada grande y en mi caso por la silla de ruedas se me dificultaba utilizarlo.

Wir waren nur 2 Nächte, nächstes mal 3 oder 4; die ganze Gegend ist sehr interessant und viel Natur bzw. auch "Reggae" wer will,.gibt viel zu entdecken

I did not partake in the breakfast so I can't respond to that. Very hot night and the two fans didn't seem to be enough for us Californians.

La cuisine du restaurant est excellente et le cadre est splendide. La cabine est un peu vieillissante mais il y a tout le nécessaire et c'est un très bon rapport qualité - prix.

Great service, very friendly & helpful owners & staff. The food was fabulous, all cooked fresh by the staff, with many menu options available. I highly recommend this as a planned stop if you want to experience the Costa Rican lifestyle! As an American, I was suprised to see that there was only one temperature of water. It's whatever temperature comes out of the faucet, depending on the outside temperature. It was completely workable for our stay, just something I didn't realize we would encounter.

• Cbrody (10/5): A perfect base for exploring the area, with an incredibly warm welcome - 100m from Playa Grande and with a lovely 3km walk to Cahuita National Park past the famous Reggae Bar, the hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming to me. Meals and accommodation exceeded expectations, and I feel I've made good friends in the short time that I was there. That I only had three days to enjoy the abundance of nature, the beaches, the food and drink, and the great company.

• Inge (8/5): Very good - Beautiful garden. We saw green macaws and different toekans early in the morning. Food in restaurant is excellent. Good bed and pillows. Spacious. Quiet location. Friendly helpful hosts. Good price. Kitchen: Everything was greasy and dirty. No hot water in the kitchen that explains a lot ofcourse.

• Ran (8/5): Very good - Very nice place with nice owners. The location was perfect for me - 3 k"m from the city center but in a beautiful place in nature near one of the beaches . It's a good place to explore nature, especially at night . They have also a good restaurant with good prices. Wifi was very bad during my staying . Sometimes it didn't work at all . Also the bathroom nèed some fixing .

• Etienne (10/5): Hidden heaven near Cahuita - Everything. Especially the lovely staff. When we arrived they took the time to tell us everything we should know about the area (transportation, water, etc...). We ate a few times in the restaurant and the food was delicious.

• Christian (10/5): All needed and nice owners - Huge cabins with kitchen - and all necessary -, big table, two double beds with docel, warm shower, confortable varanda in the middle of nature and near the beach. The owners were just so friendly and helpful, really very nice and warm persons. The restaurant is also beautiful and the food delicious, fresh and tasty for dinner and breakfast. We are gonna come back in the future.

Favourite bits- - Lovely hosts and staff who are happy to help with anything - Sitting in the hammock watching the wealth of wildlife go by - Big cabin with very comfy bed - The fish curry at their onsite restaurant - Great location in the heart of nature. I particularly loved the beautiful Playa Grande which is 5 mins walk away - Their dog Ruby :) Nothing
• Tomas (8/5): Great place in a beautiful garden. - Very nice host, made us a welcome smoothie and was very helpful. Very big room with wardrobes and fully equipped kitchen. Room cleaning every day. Sloths hanging in the street and aguti in the garden. Coffee not provided, but that's fine 🙂. AC would be nice, but there are nets in all windows so we could keep them open.

• Thomas (10/5): Sweet place for a people who seek a quiet place next to the beach - The Cabinas are in a big garden with a lot of wild animals walking by every now and then. It's far enough away from the restaurant, so you won't hear a thing. Staff is very nice and helpful. WiFi is poor

• William (10/5): We love it here! - This was our second stay at Cabinas Algebra, returning after 16 months. I was pleasantly surprised to see the water pressure in the shower was improved. Which, after our first stay, was my only complaint. Now I have no complaints. This property is excellent value. A beautiful paradise in nature, nearby to the beach. The mother and son owners take excellent care of their guests and the on-site restaurant is really good. Highly recommended! We will be back! All good!
• David (10/5): Cozy spot by the beach - Room was clean. Location was close enough to everything, but not so close as to have heavy traffic. Hosts were above and beyond amazing. Breakfast was made fresh and tasty. My only issue was how hot it could get. The fan helped a lot, but if you're a traveler who needs air conditioning, steer clear.
• Jan (10/5): Definitely one our stop stays in Costa Rica. - set in a beautiful garden in the jungle with the beach just over the road. It was quiet, very clean a great deck, great onsite restaurant and fabulous staff. You see birds and animals just when you’re sitting on you deck. that we didn’t book for longer
