Guest Reviews
- Ana (10/5): Relax - I had a lovely stay . The caravan is equipped with all the necessities. Very clean and confortable . Large decking to relax . I will definitely come back.
- Luis (1/5): - Unclean.
- robert (8/5): Did what it said on the tin - Was clean , well equipped.. and warm Nothing
- Amanda (1/5): Very disappointing as we were told the swimming pool and bar would be opened and everything was clos - The Location The host told me that the facilities would be open and they weren’t.
No hot water, the gas was not on. No ignition, couldn’t use the oven.
The sofa bed had been nailed down so couldn’t use it and the sofa was dirty.
- Victoria (2/5): -
- David (10/5): Fun, relaxing and very enjoyable - Everything Nothing
- Lynne (1/5): - Cant answer this as didn't stay there. Concerns about electrics having fragile tape stuck over them
- mahon (1/5): We left because we couldn’t stay there. - It was dirty, and dangerous. sofas dirty and floors, cigarettes and ash on decking, electrical sockets open - my child nearly put his finger in it, gas safety certificate 3 months out of date which is generous for obvious reasons including carbon monoxide. The whole place just felt really skanky unfortunately, so we had no choice but to cut our holiday short and pack up and drive the whole family back to London. Was a real shame. And the price for it surprised me as we had just stayed in a 5* caravan the 2 nights before that was CHEAPER than this one.
I don’t believe that this place should be on booking.com for people to stay in.
- Nicole (7/5): - Great location, nice enclosed balcony deck with a view.
short drive to clacton pier. Onsite facilities entertainment not included; additional fees required. Indoor and outdoor pools are available as long as you have the entertainment package. Few minor things need fixing caravan. Other than that great value and location.
- Dean® (9/5): - Was very homeley lots of personal touches made it better than the others, cosy and compact. To many personal things was cosy prior to even bringing bags in, was all a tight fit, but was still nice in a way
Smaller sized than thought, don't think could fit 6, if your lucky 3-4 max and that's pushing.
But was nice for the cosy stay thank you
- Adrian (6/5): Coud be a great choice but there are things to be improved. - The location is only 1.3 miles away from the beach and and it,s very handy.
Also inside there's a swimming pool facility and parking space as well and a restaurant with a playground which is amazing.
The caravan was clean.
A fully equipped caravan which again it,s very helpful if you need to cook something or in need of cutlery. I didn't like that the caravan was advertised with a sofa bed and in fact it was a normal sofa whereas the owner knew that we are a family and we're dependent of that sofa bed and also we couldn't use the WiFi.
We have tried to get in touch with the owner but the delay in answer and lack of solution we didn't quite like.
- Jean (10/5): -
- Wilson (8/5): The sum up of my stay is standard - No WiFi, but was said it was working
- Paula (7/5): Good overall experience - Caravan smelt of smoke when we first entered, we opened all windows which helped,
- Venija (8/5): Very good -
- Stuart (8/5): Very good - Confidently situated
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leila (1/5): Cold and dirty - Upon arrival which was quite late and dark we didn’t notice the dirty deck we notice the bedding wasnt great .but didn’t have much choice but to use it . We did look at other pillows but they were not clean also . we noticed the home was not very clean , and very cold .in the morning we noticed the Dirty ashtrays cigarette buts and empty beer cans littered the decking. .the linen was marked and not that clean I took it to my Nans house who lives locally to wash it. The boiler wouldn’t work on the next day only cold water. We had to. Leave it as the reason we are in Clacton is to see my grandad who is very ill. On returning to the home in the evening the shower would still not work . Or again the following morning . There was also a pair of old shoes left inside the home. We left a couple of mugs in the sink as no hot water to wash them. The one good thing abou the home was the bed it was very comfortable. I got in touch with owner who was quite dismissive and said we should have complained when we got there. I told her we didn’t have much time. As seeing my grandad, but I would send the photos to her which I did. Since then she has said to contact yourselves about my complaint . DIRTY HOME. DIRTY DECK . UNCLEAN LINEN. NO HOT WATER. NO HEATING. ( she did say the fire in the lounge was adequate which it wasn’t). I would not recommend this place to anyone . Leila Rayner Everything except the bed
- Tracie (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful cosy stay, had everything needed, shame we only stayed one night, will definitely book again.
- Idu (1/5): Bad - The surroundings The owner mislead us regarding te Internet acces+the inadequate comfortability of caravan
- Ayodeji (3/5): Nice because I had to spend time with family outside the caravan - I loved the kitchen the fact that we had all the necessary utensils to use, the room was clean, my son was happy to have a room to himself which was very cool No Internet connection for 3 nights how terrible was it that we tried to call the host but no good outcome she only responded to us once saying she was out of town. I was highly disappointed, the fact that I told the host I was with my son and it made our holiday a boring one. The caravan clearly stated WiFi connection included but I was VERY DISAPPOINTED.
The living room blinds also broken
- Dave (7/5): Good -
- Tracey (9/5): Superb - lovely clean caravan broken blinds and dirty ashtray left on decking with a few fag buts on the floor when we arrived probably more picky about this has were non smokers
