- McKeown (10/5): My Birthday treat! - We visited Redcastle 14-17 May for my Birthday treat and it was exceptional in all areas....our room was a double with sea view ...just a perfect relaxing view ....fabulous bed and bathroom...we had room service fir breakfast first two mornings ...1st class...we both had treatments at the spa and used the big swimming pool ...we ate in all three evenings in the fabulous dining room with panoramic views over the water. Food was delicious with a broad menu to suit all. The staff are outstanding...pleasant, very polite and attentive. The pool could have a few more beds.
- Emma (8/5): Perfect for a relaxing night away - I loved the view and tranquility of it.
- James (3/5): Nice location good staff dated and worn out hotel. - Location was good. Staff friendly The Redcastle Hotel is now past its best. Don’t let the photos on booking.com fool you. 1.room - bathroom door handle loose, towel rail loose, green staining on heating pipes to and from towel rail, extractor fan broken, room presentation was poor with iron cord and plug on floor. Dining room/ breakfast room seating broken under fabric showing from seating, hand rail by patio doors rotten, 3. Outside, patio area chairs scattered about in some cases not upright.

Breakfast service was very slow, food stocked up in drib and drabs, e.g. sausages about 10mins after other hot food, no eggs, no water etc. tables npt cleared before sitting new guests. Bed
room very noisy from floor above and water system very noisy all night.
Shampoo/ shower gels not refilled in swimming pool area.

Nice bathroom with a bath. The breakfast of course was traditional irish breakfast, I was missing some whole fruits like apples, also maybe some waffles or pancakes.

- Amy (9/5): Relaxing overnight stay with picturesque view of the Foyle - Spotlessly clean, large comfy bed, beautiful views from restaurant 2 changing rooms in swim pool area; 3 areas of what looked like jacuzzi - no instructions on how to work, therefore no jets on. A little shower gel wouldn't go a miss at poolside shower. Pool reception could perhaps offer to sell shampoo/conditioner & a shower gel. Would request a pay for a better view from room next time (207) carpark view

There was only one member of staff on reception who did an excellent - The location is ideal in a beautiful setting with great views of Lough Foyle Hotel is dated. It was very cold on arrival. No radiators were on in the foyer and adjoining seating areas.
- Margaret (7/5): Hotel is back to front - need a Dermot Banahan makeover! - Nice pool comfortable rooms Bar wasn't great, just would make so much more sense to have the bar where dining room is so that more could enjoy the view and to do barfood there.

- Britney (10/5): I really enjoyed my stay and the spa was amazing - Really nice area, relaxing spa and pool Room was cold
- Britney (7/5): Would avoid bank holiday getaways if wanting to relax - We love the area and hotel, staff were so accommodating in moving us rooms when had noisy neighbours and our spa treatments were amazing. It was very busy due to the bank holiday weekend/Mother’s Day and paddy’s day. So the pool area etc was full of noisy kids so wasn’t a relaxing birthday getaway as expected. Also there was a digger, dump trucks outside our window putting stones in the river which we didn’t mind in the day but it woke us at 6am.

- Emer (9/5): Lovely hotel and staff. - Lovely hotel. Staff friendly and polite. Requested a room with bath prior to arrival which was arranged. Having to book a time for breakfast, would prefer to go when I felt like it.
Hurt my knee in swimming pool as too many ledges/steps and hard to see them.
- John (10/5): Fabulous 👌 - Super 👌 Nothing
- Richardson (10/5): Wonderful to stay with my daughter. The offer of the family room at no extra cost meant we were both able to have a grea - Location as always. You can not beat the view. Shower head too low - but I am 6 foot 2 lol
- Moya (9/5): Very good overall - Very good. Food hot. Outlook over the water was lovely. Wanted reflexology on Thursday but no reflexologist available. Disappointed.
- KEVIN TEAGUE (9/5): Very happy - Breakfast was too good. Tempts you to eat too much Better walks. No footpath to right at entrance

- eileen (9/5): very relaxing -
- David (5/5): Disappointing - Location was great We had to book times for dinner and breakfast which is fine but then we had to stand and Que before being seated. We had booked a couples spa experience but one if the therapists was ill, again fair enough but they couldn't offer a similar couples experience was disappointing as the weekend was planned around this.
