• Grigori (9/5): Good stay at the heart of palermo - Very nice aparatment, corresponds to photos and it is nicely located near cathedral and normans palace. There is a special smell from the apartment, not bad not good just a smell.
• Lais (5/5): Eine saubere, gut gelegene Wohnung allein reicht nicht aus – Gäste müssen sich auch wohl und willkommen fühlen. - Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und die Putzfrau Lucia war die Einzige, die uns geholfen hat, die verklemmte Badtür gemeinsam mit ihrem Mann zu öffnen. Alessio soll der Verantwortliche sein, tat aber nichts. Beim Check-in ließ er uns über 45 Minuten auf eine Frau warten, die mit Helm und telefonierend an uns vorbeiging, ohne ein Wort zu sagen. Sie öffnete lediglich die Wohnung, übergab die Schlüssel und verschwand so schnell wie möglich. Wie TV, Kaffeemaschine, Klimaanlage (kaputt?) funktionieren soll man selbst herausfinden. WLan-Infos muss man selbst per WhatsApp nachfragen. Kurz danach merkten wir, dass wir vor einer verschlossenen Badezimmertür standen. Der Verantwortliche selbst unternahm nichts – stattdessen schrieb seine Frau WhatsApp-Nachrichten für ihn. Er kam nicht einmal vorbei, um die Wohnungsübergabe durchzuführen oder die verklemmte Tür zu öffnen. Später trafen wir zufällig den tatsächlichen Eigentümer der Wohnung, der sagte, Alessio wohne im selben Haus. Die Haustür ließ sich mit dem angeblich dafür vorgesehenen Schlüssel nicht öffnen; die Ehefrau schickte unvollständige Informationen darüber, wie man den Öffnungscode eingibt. Am Ende unseres Aufenthalts (auf Nachfrage!) bekamen wir lediglich eine knappe Nachricht: „Hello, you can leave the keys in the key box, thanks.“ – Erst auf erneute Nachfrage, wo sich diese „Keybox“ befindet, erhielten wir die Antwort: „You find it outside the door on the left.“ Allerdings befand sich links an der Tür nur ein Briefkasten. Was mit „outside the door“ (draußen vor der Tür) gemeint war, war offenbar etwas anderes…
• Christiane (6/5): Disappointing. Listing needs to be amended to say one bed apartment. - Amazing location. Host helpful and communicative. Provided really nice tips on where to eat etc. Really clean. Apart from lack of fan/aircon in the only bedroom (see below) would be nice for a couple but not four adults. Property described as a two bed apartment. It is only a one bed property so completely misleading. Two camp beds were put up in the relatively small kitchen/dinner/living area. A message was sent before we arrived to say that the apartment was not two bed but it was in Italian. Not suitable for four adults. Air con in kitchen but not very effective and none in the only bedroom. No fans provided. Like sleeping in an oven we left after one night.
