• Joseph (10/5): Nat is a Exceptional Customer Service rep for the Siam Grande Hotel!!! - All staff members were professional and very courteous, Spacious clean rooms, beds were Very comfortable, and plenty of parking are a few of the things that stand out. My overall experience for the 3 day stay was exceptional, especially coordinating my stay with Nat, for 4 rooms. Nat was extremely professional, patient, accomodated all my requests, and was the primary reason I decided to stay at this hotel. Didnt actuall find anything I did not like.

• Oguntke (9/5): - Das Hotel wird von schon seit Jahren wenn wir in Udon Thani sind gebucht. Es erfüllt immer alle unsere Anforderungen. Mittlerweile wurde auch das Frühstücksbüfett erweitert und nochmals verbessert.

The balcony was very dirty, full of pigeon poo. The location, very isolated, only thing within walking distance is Big C .

• Andreas (9/5): Sauberes gutes Mittelklasse Hotel mit großen Zimmern - Sehr große Zimmer, sehr sauber, freundliches Personal, 24h Rezeption, Salzwasser Pool, Fitnessraum, abends Barberrueb täglich livemusik traditionelle musik. Ca. 3,5 km vom zentrum shopping mall central plaza entfernt. Das für Frühstücksbuffet ist wenig europäisch, es hat mehr traditionelle asiatische Frühstückskomponenten was viel warme Gerichte sind. Es gab keine Käseplatte oder Wurstplatte, keine Brötchen. Es hat damit zu tun das vorwiegend asiatische Gäste dort sind. Man sollte aber wenn man auf der Gästeliste Europäer sieht. Wenigstens eine kleine Auswahl an intercontinetal breakfast anbieten. Aber trotzdem war das Buffet ok und man konnte etwas finden. Guter Kaffee , es gibt auch frische Omlette. Der Fitnessraum ist ok, aber die Kraftstation ist zu alt und die Hanteln bis 10kg sind für Männer zu leicht, da könnte mehr Auswahl sein.

• Pieter (9/5): Very good hotel, big rooms and very clean. - Big size rooms ! Very clean and comfortable. Bathroom average, but no issues. Swimming pool also good for children ! Lots of parking space. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was partially done by order (at walking-in in the morning), but was very good too. We would definitely stay here again, we had a very pleasant (one night) stay. It's a bit outside city center. Note that you need transport to go to the Night market, you can not walk there, as you have to cross the big road. For us, with a car, not a big problem.

Service in all areas ie reception, restuarant, swimming pool etc is excellent, such helpful staff, most staff speak excellent English if you cannot speak Thai. Swimming pool is good size, clean and salt treatment is used. Breakfast was excellent both for Thai and Farang diets. Room was good sized, clean , ideal. There was nothing to not like.

• Ralph (8/5): The location is not central, but very good for starting trips to the north and east of Udon Thani. - Quiet, nice pool. The breakfast offering was limited, but fresh. The scrambled eggs were freshly prepared. Even though we arrived very late, we still had a freshly prepared dinner. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was very clean. There are plenty of parking spaces. By car, you can reach UD Town or the Central Shopping Center within 10 minutes. The bathroom, although very clean, could use some updating.

Another thing that is not mentioned is that the pool is a public pool, so in the afternoon when we wanted to chill by the pool it was full of school kids having swimming lessons

• Whelan (6/5): Not value or good for families - Apparently we were upgraded But it was on the ground floor and they have a karaoke going until 1130pm at night and on Sunday night There was people in the bar partying until 4 am. The staff were apologetic but we could not sleep. The staff are fully aware that the room is affected by the noise of the singing, so it was not an upgrade. Breakfast selection is very limited as they do not offer a buffet when they have small occupancy.

They use pool for commercialise, they use for swimming lessons for little children, we can't relax near the pool. • Kunle (4/5): Nice place BUT could be better!!!!! - The general hotel itself was very clean just except our room was not. The location was very good and easy to get to other establishments It wasn't too far to go to the big C. From now we were eating quite a lot at the cowboy restaurant which is really nice as well as long there there were loads of options for other places as well! Our bedroom wasn't cleaned for several days properly all they had done was went in and put did the bare minimum hoping you wouldn't notice. I had towels behind the door which i hung there for at least 4 days, a room. I would say the room got cleaned properly once considering I had booked there from the 28th to the 11th! In which we left on the 6th to go somewhere else and the reason for this was purely down to. I myself am a farang my lovely partner is Thai. Unfortunately despite Thailand is the land or smiles you still do get the discrimination and racism and unfortunately that is what we encountered. Members of staff were talking about me, obviously they didn't realize that my partner was Thai and very proud of her country and her people and this really upset her for me it was like a water of a duck's back! I had to bring to their attention regarding the shower in our room that was not working properly. I will admit once it was fixed, I wouldn't fault it the maintenance guy was excellent, the choice of television wasn't exactly great. We ate at the restaurant several times I personally found their price was a little bit high, considering the quality and service we received outside the hotel overall was great 👍🏾 I found the stuff was not that accommodating it was the old few and when I say the old few it was. When we checked out all we got told was you don't get a refund and we owed money for room service. As we had ordered a child portion of stir fried rice for our daughter, and when it came it was a full adult potion not even hot. Overall not a place I would rush to, but the surroundings were very nice and pretty!

• Michael (8/5): Perfect without the restaurant and lounge - Staff was exceptionally helpful and very pleasant Well, food was not very good, but as I was there a full month and enjoy a cocktail or two in the evening I was shocked that the bar only offered very cheap brands of liquor and not even one bartender could make a drink as simple as Vodka and Orange juice without calling for help and even then I had to show them what to do. I know I am a foreigner but in a bar??? My friend ordered a John Walker scotch and soda, and even though that brand was on the shelf in plain sight was told they could not sell by the drink?? Loved the Hotel but moved to the DNP Residence before spending the next month there at the Grand Siam. Too bad it was except for ability to have a drink the best hotel I have stayed at in Udon Thani.
