• Ashley (6/5): Pleasant stay was very expensive for just a weekend but nice location - Indoor pool is fantastic there is lots of bedrooms and property kitchen was modern with great appliances The grass was covered in bindi impossible for kids to walk or play on. Some of the fans were not working and some of the furniture was broken

• Petra (4/5): Disappointing stay - The house is set on a beautiful and very quiet acreage approx. 20 minutes drive from Hunter Valley Gardens. The kitchen was very modern, well-equipped with great appliances. The house can easily accommodate 10-13 people. The reason I was attracted to this house was because of the covered heated pool, unfortunately the pool was not heated. Needless to say the grandchildren were bitterly disappointed! Another highly desirable feature was air-conditioning however, it did not work - the ceiling outlets did not blow any air out at all. We did google instructions as there were none in the house and we had turned it on correctly. Netflix was also another attraction, which is available but only via google chrome connection and we had to supply our own connection cord and power plug which luckily we did have. We also googled the instructions to work out how to use it as these were not supplied. I think the house had just been pest-sprayed which I realize needs to be done from time-to-time but there was very overpowering lingering smell and there were still quite a few fruit-fly type bugs in the kitchen.
• Mary (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and would likely stay again in this home - Location was lovely a peaceful base after the stress of the funeral. The home was well equipped, great kitchen and facilities, good design to cope with three generations with obviously different needs and expectations. Will be a lovely home to return to in summer when the pool is available. As the property is semi rural there is very little street lighting making our return at night a little difficult. Some extra spotlights or such would improve visibility immensely at the front of the dwelling.
• Claudine (10/5): Spacious house that was perfect for a short group getaway in the Hunter Valley. - Great size for a group weekend getaway. Loads of positive comments from everyone in the group. The house had all you could possible need. Beds were very comfortable. Communication with hosts was very easy and they were super helpful. We were advised a few days prior to our stay that the pool was unusable as it was leaking and were offered a discount or alternate accommodation. We chose to stay (glad that we did!) but it was lovely to be offered options. Couldn’t fault it.
