- ingmar (8/5): - Good location, bus station and houseboat port nearby. Clean and tidy room, everything works, room with window and possible opening it. Hot water. Very good value for money. If only there was a way to block the smell coming from the drain in the bathroom and then everything would be perfect. Luckily it only in bathroom and the ventilation works great there . I blocking it with bucket.
- S Mazumdar (10/5): Great stay at Alleppey - Venice Rosedale - Venice Rosedale is a small homestay -cum resort just beside the Alleppey main Lake from where the government ferry service, private shikara and govt water your boats start. Thus it is possibly the best location for budget accommodation. The rooms are extremely clean and they provide dental kit along with soaps and shampoo. Mr Sanu, caretaker of the property is extremely helpful and resourceful. The rooms have been given interesting names eg , Paris, Dubai, New York, London, etc., only one room has the name of an Indian city, that is Kochi. They have a common kitchen equipped with induction cooktop, electric kettle, coffee shatches, tea powder sugar water etc. every room has a table, wardrobe and large comfy bed. We enjoyed staying at Venice Rosedale for two days and strongly recommend tourists to consider this place to stay during the Alleppey trip. Mr. Sanu needs special mention. He suggested us the best trips, timings etc and helped whenever needed. Thank you Mr. Sanu. None

- Dani Serra (10/5): EXCELLENT - It was a perfect location to be, near Boat Stand, walk distance to the Durga temple (17min), which it is in a street with a lot of shops and restaurante. Staff answer my phone call, help me with my doubts. The room is a very good size, room and bathroom very clean. Water, soap, bath towel provided. The sheets, mattress and pillow clean and comfortable. Air conditioner was perfect, and the room it not so hot.

We stayed an extra night as the guesthouse was so much better than we expected at the price. Really good. Clean, modern, comfortable, quiet & excellent value for money. Friendly, helpful staff. - AjishGopz (10/5): Exceptional. Highly recommended - This place felt like a homestay even though it’s more of an apartment setup with multiple rooms. The staff were very polite and respectful, giving us complete privacy. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location is quiet and not crowded, which made the stay peaceful. It’s also couple-friendly and has a very welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a simple but very pleasant stay.
