- Ines (9/5): - Het is een prachtige locatie. We werden heel vriendelijk en gastvrij ontvangen.
- Adrienne (10/5): Wonderful stay - We had the best time at Masseria Rienzo. The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind. The masseria is stunning, surrounded by beautiful olive trees. We had dinner and every dish was homemade and fabulous.
- Grigg (9/5): - Friendly and helpful staff. A very 'homely' feel to the property. We felt like guests of their family.
- Mirilyn (10/5): Wonderful stay with lovely hosts - Carmen and Julia were fantastic hosts, extremely accommodating. They brought us coffee to the room in the morning, and accommodated early breakfast requests when we had tours booked early in the morning.
The building and grounds are gorgeous, the olive groves surround the entire building and are a great place for a walk. There is a gorgeous orangerie off one of the rooms where we stayed, which was a perfect spot for morning coffee. The pool is beautiful, clean, and secluded with comfortable deck chairs and a nice mix of sun and shade. The interior decor is filled with beautiful antiques. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, extremely clean, and the air conditioning was great (perfect during the hot summer days we were there!) The bathrooms were modern, well-appointed, and clean. Shower pressure was great.
Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety of Italian pastries, fresh fruit, and delicious eggs. We did not have a chance to eat dinner here, but the breakfast was fantastic.
The location is fantastic, just 6 minute drive to Ostuni city centre, where we went a few times for dinner, and 20 minute drive from the beach.
- Alisa (10/5): The Masseria experience right in the middle of an olive grove! - We stayed at Masseria Rienzo for 6 nights, and were very happy with our decision! The stars of the show were definitely the hosts - Julia and family were so accommodating. We made a mistake and didn’t rent a car (which I highly recommend, especially if you’re going between different towns) and right away they were trying to help us figure out how to find one. They even dropped us off at a nearby train station when we realized we had to go pick it up in a different station.
The included breakfast was great every morning, and I’ll miss the daily cappuccino, pastries, eggs, and most of all their olive oil!! Do the tour while you’re there, lots to learn and they have one of the oldest olive groves to exist.

- Caroline (9/5): - Julia and Carmen were helpful, kind and friendly - it was lovely staying here and highly recommend - very relaxing -excellent breakfast and perfect base for visiting Puglia. Wish we could have stayed longer. Nothing
- Joan (7/5): -
- debra (8/5): Tranquil retreat - Beautiful family run masseria location easy to get too , ostuni White City 5 min drive away the accomadation took you back in time to grandeur we’re made to feel very welcome by Carmen and Julia , the pool was a lovely bonus to come back too after travelling around all day good breakfast and my husband loved the rabbit with Mediterranean herbs cooked by Carmen we originally booked a hotel in monopoli and so glad we changed to stay in this masseria Nothing
- Peter (9/5): Peaceful setting amongst a very old olive Grove. - The breakfast and facilities were very good. Quiet with good air conditioning.
Unkompliziert freundlich herzlich
Schöne Atmosphäre, tolles Olivenöl ,
Schönes Frühstück
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 🤩
Grazie mille 😘 Alles super
- marleen (8/5): Unieke warme locatie - Een leuke familie die mooie producten maakt en heerlijk kookt! Zeker een aanrader net buiten Ostuni Het zwembad was iets minder
- Magdalena (9/5): -
- Remco (9/5): Top!
Nada. Por decir algo, las almohadas duras.
- RAUL (8/5): - La ubicacion Jab pequeña relativamente, televisor muy pequeño
- Jan (7/5): - I was very much looking forward to staying here, especially having read great reviews.
The location was great. It was easy to head off each day to explore the area and other towns nearby. The staff were very helpful with recommendations. The pool was a bonus to come back to the afternoon to relax beside Unfortunately there is no soundproofing in the rooms and we were kept awake at night by one of the other guests with a terrible cough and who had coughing fits during the night. On the other side of us we could hear all the bathroom noise. Although we had ear plugs we could still hear the other rooms. Just a bit unlucky.
- Yasmin (7/5): Lovely property - Room was lovely. Pool was great and breakfast was amazing Expensive
- Emilie (10/5): -
- Alison (8/5): Very good - The location was absolutely perfect, 5 minutes drive from a very good beach close to Villanova and 7 minutes drive to Ostuni. The pool was a lovely place to spend a quiet afternoon and our room was always cleaned daily We were disappointed that the pool was closed to guests from 7pm until 9am. The other problem we had was an issue with wasps while trying to eat or have a drink outside
- Chantal (9/5): Superb -
- Paul (10/5): We had a great time. This is a brilliant location to explore the area. Carmen and Julia really looked after us. great po - Loved the location, the pool and the way we were welcomed
- Ian (10/5): This is a great place to stay for a wonderful Masseria experience it was fab. - Julia and her daughters (especially Carmen) run an excellent Masseria and are so very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, they also have a fantastic pool on site that was great to relax by after exploring the local area and beaches, none of these are too far away. They do cook for dinner as well we had the set menu dinner on arrival, which we booked in advance for Euro55 each. For many years the Masseria has been a big producer of Olive Oil and regularly run tours, they now produce their own wine, both of these products are exceptional. To Our only issue was that although we ordered the set menu we didn't know in advance how many courses and what it contained. We had hoped it would be the best of Masseria cooking. Although it was good we did have better meals elsewhere in Puglia for better value.
- Louisa (10/5): Enjoyed everything about this authentic masseria. Everything was lovely, and hosts were very nice and helpful. -
- Donna (10/5): Lovely rooms. Ancient olive trees. Very helpful, approachable staff. - Lovely rooms. Walking amongst the ancient olive trees. Wonderful, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast, especially enjoyable on our second day when the wind had died down and we were able to eat outside in the courtyard.
- Michael (10/5): Lovely tranquil retreat run by great people - It had great charm and character. It was in the middle of a working Olive plantation with some of the trees over 1000 years old. Nice small pool where you could get a drinks service via WhatsApp. The room had a spa bath and an extra electric massage bed. Breakfast was really good including chocolate cake if you wanted. We ate there for dinner on our last two nights. Choose from the a la carte menu at breakfast. We ate on our own under lights between two monumental olive trees really good local cuisine well cooked. Even had their own Primitivo wine and award winning olive oil The twin sisters Carmen and Maria ably assisted by their mum made this the last property of our holiday truly memorable. Nothing it was all good.
- Bridget (9/5): Lovely stay with perfect hospitality from hosts. - Masseria Rienzo was in a lovely location as it was only a 10-15 minute drive to the beaches, but also only a 10 minute drive to Ostuni. The staff were extremely hospitable and greeted us warmly. The breakfast in the morning is also lovely and they have a good spread of sweets. You can also get eggs cooked fresh on request. I would definitely stay at Masseria Rienzo again if I were to return to Ostuni. Everything was lovely, only thing was that the pillows weren't the comfiest but that is also personal preference :)
- Annabel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicola (10/5): A great start to our holiday in Puglia and a few minutes by car to beautiful Ostuni. - Beautiful and most interesting olive farm which is centuries old. The accomodation transports you to a bygone era but has been updated beautifully to meet today’s needs. The staff. Julia and Carmen were superb hosts. The shower and bathroom was very small. Nothing else
- Diana (9/5): Superb -
- Maggie (9/5): We loved it and would certainly recommend it and go again. - Carmen was delightful and she and her mother, Gulia, are fantastic cooks! We had a wonderful meal with them and the breakfasts were delicious.
The pool is beautiful and was welcome even in October.
It is a stunning site surrounded by olive trees.
The room was spotless and there was plenty of hot water.
It was lovely to have a small table to sit at outside our room.
The location was ideal for us, easy to find and very accessible. The pillows could have been a bit softer and the neighbours dog barked one entire night!! Otherwise it was gloriously peaceful.
The option to have a kettle or access to one would have been lovely.
Some maps of local towns (Ostuni, Lecce) would have been helpful especially regarding parking places.
Otherwise we were very comfortable.
- Sara (10/5): Beautifully relaxing oasis. Highly recommended! - Exceptional hosts! Family run. Saw to our every request and question. Great property. Beautiful and relaxing after coming from the more chaotic, Napoli. Great location. Great food for breakfast and dinner. Had a romantic dinner for two. Homemade pasta and excellent olive tapenade.
- Pierre (10/5): Exceptional - The people were very attentive to our comfort
- Pierre (8/5): Very good - Location and cleanliness. Interesting tour on how they manufacture their olive oil. Warm welcome from the family.
- Alan (9/5): An excellent family run property. Comfortable accommodation in a lovely setting. - An excellent family run property. Well positioned to explore Puglia but a car is needed. This is a working farm in peaceful surroundings The owners could not have been more helpful. The breakfasts were very good and it is also worth booking an evening meal. The food was excellent and served in a romantic setting. Needed to take the car out in the evenings to local towns.
- Ann (10/5): Exceptional - Eggs etc. cooked to order. Fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals, cheese and an exception selection of home baked cakes and pastries. Nothing!
- Jennifer (10/5): Perfect Puglia farm stay - a little slice of Heaven! NOT TO BE MISSED!!!! - EVERYTHING!!! The property itself is amazing….old but maintained in all the right ways without losing the centuries old farmhouse feel. Our room was quaint - simple but well equipped with all the needed amenities, including a hot shower. It had French doors that opened to a garden full of lime / lemon trees and herbs. The aroma each morning when we opened the door was something I will strive to replicate for years to come! The olive grove was massive and incredibly beautiful and the owner Guila and her daughters Carmen and Maria, catered to our every need.
Breakfast was excellent - they even opened up an hour early for us on our last day to accommodate our early morning flight! We also had the opportunity to have dinner one night at the restaurant…..listen up when I say DO NOT MISS THIS DINNER! By far the best meal we had in all of our time in Italy.
I had tears in my eyes as we hugged goodbye and I know we will be back again someday…..until then we have our memories and lots of photos! Not a thing!!!!
- William (7/5): Good -
- Lesley (8/5): Relaxing a good place to spend a few days. - Food was great .
Hostess was a terrific cook.
Excellent meals. Swimming pool sun loungers uncomfortable and more shade needed around the pool.
- Paul (9/5): Fantastic, away from the tourist spots, but if you still want to seek it out, you're there in no time. - Absolutely perfect location, within 6 minutes you are in the centre of Ostuni by car. Within 10 minutes you are at the beach by car. Furthermore, it is a beautiful Masseria in a lovely olive grove. The family that lives and runs the Masseria is fantastic, incredibly hospitable and both breakfast and dinner are of very good quality. Definitely stay for an evening meal with them, the value for money is very good. -
- Jules (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carmela (9/5): A tranquil and tasteful place to stay - Very lovely room. The location of te Masseria is perfect to see the surroundings. Carmen and Giulia were very friendly. The pool was very nice!
- Susannah (9/5): Fabulous stay. Fabulous hosts. Couldn’t do enough for you. Carmen is a star! - Fabulous accommodation. Lovely room and pool area. So very tranquil Could not get a taxi from ostuni back to the property. No fault of the owners though. Just lack of public transport and taxis
- Alison (7/5): Great location with easy access to local area. Fantastic, helpful hosts. - Lovely hosts
Excellent location
Fantastic food - especially the evening menu which had a wide range of home cooked dishes. Small bedrooms and very small shower rooms
- Janice (10/5): This masseria is a lovely, peaceful retreat, especially for couples. - Lovely, quiet and convenient
- Hannah (9/5): Lovely for a few nights. - Beautiful property that enabled a relaxing stay. Felt a little bit taken advantage of at the end of the trip when we had such a lovely time we wanted to buy some items as an extra thank you to hosts and we were charged a lot for an item. Left a bad taste in the mouth for the end of the trip.
- Amanda (10/5): Exceptional - The location was a 10min drive from Ostuni, perfect for visiting town and then returning to the peaceful setting. It was a beautiful room in the family run masseria. The room was comfortable, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The family who run the accommodation are friendly, helpful and around if you need anything. Breakfast offered a good range of food and it was lovely to sit in the garden to eat. Nothing, it was great
- Mark (9/5): Very pleasant, friendly stay with family owners of this working farm with lovely food, accommodation - Breakfast was simple but effective and tasty. Variable daily pastries with selection of fruit and choice of drinks. You can have an evening meal (except Sunday) but need to let owners know at breakfast on the day. However meals were very nice with good tasting wince selection. We only had the "small menu" which was enough (usually pasta style starter and main dish). Recommend tasting their own produced pasta and prize winning olive oil amongst other food products.
Good location to access train station or need a care to explore surrounding areas. Good 40 minute walk to Ostuni (nearest historical town worth a visit) but sometimes have to share road with cars. Train station nearby to visit other places otherwise would recommend a car if using Masseria Rienzo as a base. Owners were really nice and often offered to drive us to train station or to Ostuni.
- Francesca (9/5): Superb - Excellent location and beautiful setting. So lovely to have the pool area to relax. The family run Masseria is just so special The bed mattress is a little hard
- Claire (9/5): Superb - Beautiful and peaceful property. Very short drive to Ostuni. Wonderful home cooked food!
- Anthony (10/5): Don’t miss this special place! - Pictures don’t do justice. So much history around these lovely buildings. The family are all lovely and provide exceptional food. It is so quiet. The pool is lovely. Make sure you take the tour of the farm to learn all of the amazing history. There are so many interesting things to see within an hours drive. Especially beautiful Old Ostuni and the Trulli villages. 5 days was about right. We sadly leave relaxed and overfed. Can’t think of anything I didn’t like.
- Michael (9/5): Bellisimo - Staff ~ Julia and her daughters were amazing, friendly and accommodating staff
- Emily (10/5): Beautiful farm stay run by a family that has owned the farm for many generations - Gorgeous property and family. Guilia and her daughters were fantastic. Their cooking and hospitality was awesome. Guilia and her husband picked us up from brindisi airport on the day we arrived.
After a tour of their property we got a taxi into ostuni, which is the only way you can get up to ostuni unless you have a car. It’s too far to walk
The ostuni stazione is about a 15-20 minute walk which is fine for visiting other towns but it’s not near ostuni town centre.
We visited lecce, Polignano and monopoli by train and all were wonderful!
The included breakfast each morning was great and lots to choose from.
We ate dinner each night we were there also and all were so tasty !
Also managed a swim in their beautiful pool.
Definitely worth a stay, we had 3 nights.
- Paul (9/5): Very enjoyable with excellent staff. - Great place. Very authentic with a farm of olive trees surrounding. Very comfortable, nice pool area, very nice breakfast and dining options. Superb staff who really care for their guests.
- Courtney (10/5): Exceptional -
- Taxiarhis (9/5): Superb -
- Mary (10/5): Excellent - It was such a lovely experience and an amazing way to end our trip to Italy!
Such a lovely family running the hotel and I couldn’t recommend it enough to anyone!
Lovely room and pool
- Andy (9/5): very convenient location for us though you do need a vehicle, very clean, family run business and very hard working host - authentic, quiet, clean, friendly host, family run, nothing to dislike
- Mariona23 (9/5): Superb -
- Karen (10/5): Such a memorable unique stay, we highly recommend to anyone!! - The property was absolutely amazing, we loved it, it’s uniqueness was sensational, the food was unbelievable !! The pool was gorgeous and everyone so friendly!! It was so clean and plenty of room, eating breakfast is definitely something special!!
The position from Ostuni is great, not far at all, maybe 8 mins!! so going to Ostuni is quick or use the olive farm as a base !! nothing
- Lynda (10/5): a great location close to Ostuni without the headache of parking and driving in and out to local towns. - genuine working olive orchard. people friendly and helpful. great experience shower very small.
- Ilona (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent environment, great people and the room was wonderful
- Anonymous (10/5): Our hosts bent over backward to make our stay an unforgettable experience. - it’s age, furnishings, condition, cleanliness, proximity to both Ostuni and the sea, the scrumptious breakfasts, the exceptional hospitality, Since both my wife and I are elderly, we would have preferred a room with a shower instead of a tub.
- Luca (10/5): Fantastic stay in a beautiful location. - Simply fantastic. The property was even more beautiful than in the pictures. The pool was clean, big and had the perfect temperature. Our room was big with two large windows, high ceilings and an incredibly comfortable bed. The hosts were even more amazing than the property itself. They were welcoming, caring and extremely attentive. We came without a car and the hosts immediately offered to drive us to Ostuni and the surrounding beaches. Make sure to try the home-cooked dinner and take a walk through their beautiful olive garden. Thank you so much to the team at Masseria Rienzo, we will definitely be coming back!
- Steve (8/5): Very good - Excellent breakfast. very good location We didn't know that you cannot get supper on Sundays. Also, suppers have to be ordered in the morning, which is a problem when one only checks in at 15h00.
- Linda (9/5): A good country option - The breakfast was the best we have had on our trip. It’s really good! If you get a chance to taste their farm products, they are also delicious. We spent most of the day sitting out by the pool and it is very comfortable. And everyone there is very nice. The tiniest shower I have ever been in. I’m sure it can’t be helped. And the locks can be a bit tricky. But overall we really liked it.
- Julia (8/5): A very pleasant stay but unfortunately weather was poor - Very good breakfast - lovely staff
- Arthur (10/5): gracious host, wonderful breakfast and beautiful property - It is a beautiful location on an olive farm. The property has been in the family for I believe over 150 years. From our room we could see fields of olive trees and the Adriatic Sea off in the distance maybe a mile or less. nothing
- Lynch (10/5): perfect base to be able to take day trips to surrounding towns. - the location was fabulous, our hosts were fabulous, the breakfast was fabulous, we just loved it here
- Jack (8/5): Very good -
- Silver (9/5): Superb - The host is very helpful and hospitable. We miss out to inform them we need dinner on the night of our arrival, the offered to pick us up from downtown after our dinner during 2 nights of our stay with 2 cars as we have group of 8 pax. Host offers us a big villa with a large living & dining room, we can meet & relax together after dinner.
They home baked breakfast was amazing
- Jerry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (8/5): would stay again - staff were lovely. Close to town. breakfast was good as expected it’s rustic but it also feels a bit dated
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Joeri (9/5): Lovely Masseria Rienzo - The location of the Masseria near to Ostuni , the warm welcome of Guilia , Carmen. The room was in a nice setting like vintage with all facilities.
Airconditioning, mini bar , the bed was comfortable and the room was clean..
We reserved a diner and the food was marvellous.
Anything you asked they always tried to help out with info or food or beverage.
Also for the breakfast , a variety , and possibility to have extras like yoghurt , eggs . The breakfast is typical Italian so a lot of sweets and you have to get used to it .
Maybe try to mix with a bit salty pastery or bruschetta with tomato , mozzarella.
Also we like cheese but like in slices .
Prosciutto, Coppa , Panchetta, Mortadelle ...
Please check the pool area for broken glass pieces on the ground .
Small bathroom and access to the shower
- Jeannette (9/5): Wonderful! Great food and warm, friendly family. - Beautiful property set in ancient olive trees.
- Susie (8/5): Very good - the pool very little interaction.
- Ghida (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property, very sweet staff, clean and big rooms
