• YOUNGJIN (10/5): - 우선 사장님 한국분이셔서 정보 많이 얻을 수 있어 좋았습니다! 발리 문화까지 섭렵 ㅋㅋㅋ 그리고 청결! 매일 청소 해주시고 수건도 매일 2개씩! 무료 세탁에 건조까지 해서 주세요. 진짜 짱짱입니다! 여자 사장님이 쿠킹클래스도 오래 하셔서 음식맛이 최고입니다. 여행다니면 아침 잘 안먹는데 매일 조식 챙겨먹었어요👍🏻 직원들도 항상 웃는얼굴로 인사해주고 마스코트인 강아지는 너무 순합니다 🥰 없어오!

• Jordan (7/5): Ms. Dewi the proprietor was missing. Miscommunication as to the room cleaning and linens change could have been avoided. - The facilities and room were clean & well kept. Staff were attentive and polite. Quiet & pleasant surroundings. The steps going up can be challenging for those old or carrying heavy luggage. Room wasn’t made on time or used towels changed. Breakfast was adequate but coffee was bad. For those afraid of an overtly friendly dog, please be warned in advance.
• Kellie (1/5): We didn’t stay there, we paid to go to another hotel - NOTHING The owner was away on holiday and there was only a young girl who didn’t speak English, there was no one to help carry our luggage up the stairs, my husband who’s 68yrs had major surgery end of last year and now has a stoma bag, due to cancer of the bladder, this was our first holiday abroad since his op, breakfast was cancelled although we had booked and paid for in advance! She also was not able to show us how tv (Netflix) worked, that wasn’t a problem for me as I don’t go to Bali to watch tv. The swimming pool was filthy!

• Nicola (10/5): A lovely stay with wonderful hosts - We liked the hosts who were really hospitable and helpful. The room on the top floor had its own shower room and toilet next door and a small balcony. The bed was large, firm and very comfortable . There was a desk for working at fridge and plenty of cupboard storage space I found the decore of the room a little corporate , not very cosy, slightly dark.
• Nina (10/5): Exceptional - We felt really comfortable and like we come home to Our family:). John and his stuff is so friendly and helpful. You can Wash your clothes for free. Also Johns dog can is such a nice guy :). We contacted John one week after Our stay if we can put Our baggage for 2 days to Johns homestay and it was absolutely no problem. Thanks for that John and Dewi:). We enjoyed our whole stay.

• Basma (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely room and lovely hosts. The room is big with a big bathroom/shower. They were super helpful and even ironed my dress for free. The included breakfast was delicious and they were overall very accommodating. The dog is also a sweetheart. The beach is around 5 mins by foot. And Finns club is walking distance from the Homestay.
• Jurgen (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in Berawa for 4 nights. The accommodation exceeded our expectations. The hosts Dewi & John are the nicest people you will meet & their dog Kahn is so cute! We arrived late at around midnight & John was there to check us in, always smiling! The place is very clean, very safe & they have the best breakfast (different choices). They offer laundry services at no extra costs and daily water bottles. The location is also very good, there is a mini market 2min away & 2 of the best beach clubs are a 3min walk, yet you hear no sound. Would definitely recommend staying here 💯 ! Nothing!

She has her own culinary school so you’ll definitely will like all the breakfasts! The house is located far from noisy roads, you’ll sleep like a baby. Thank you! • Jy (10/5): Beautiful room, clean environment - The room is big, beautiful and clean. Staffs are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. Most important there is a super adorable German shepherd! It's very close to the club, at midnight can hear the loud music. There are not many things to do around if you don't have a scooter.

• Eemali-anne (10/5): Excellent, clean, safe, good value small accommodation - Initially chose this accommodation just because it was close to friends’ villa, but it turned out to be the best decision. Amazing accommodation for the price and service. I stayed in the double room with balcony- it was simple but very clean, quiet despite being in a high-noise area and the breakfast was great. Towel changes, housekeeping and abundant bottled water supplied every day. Only one of a few large rooms so quite private and safe. I would also recommend attending Dewi’s cooking class which was amazing, and an absolute highlight of my trip (got to visit local markets and try local food, then learn to make yummy traditional recipes while meeting new people!) I did notice my television didn’t work but it wasn’t a problem - why would you watch TV in such a beautiful place!

• Rick (9/5): Berawa Homestay is as per the photos and reviews. Very good value for money and good location. - I stayed at Berawa Homestay (BHS) for three nights while my wife was in Java. I chose Berawa based on the photos and reviews. It is as per the photos and reviews. I also chose Berawa because it's close to a Muay Thai Gym I trained at (Hiits Studio). BHS is a very short walk to Club Atlas and Finns Beach Club. There are a huge array of restaurants and shops nearby. They are upgrading the footpaths (Aug 23) so be prepared to walk around roadwalks. It's only 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. If you're GF or Coeliac Made's Banana Flour Warung is only 10 minutes walk. The small side road that BHS is on is very quiet. I stayed in the top room. There are three rooms. A large balcony surrounds the first floor. The Aircon is good. Bathroom is very nice. The shower has great pressure and good hot water. The room is modern and very comfortable. It lacks an indoor sitting area but has a small balcony and as mentioned, a large balcony on the first floor that has outdoor chairs and tables. I never ate at the guest house but can confirm it smells amazing. They hold cooking lessons in the large open kitchen on the ground floor. I never used the pool or pool area but it was always very clean. The people who live on site keep the grounds and pool area immaculate. The room was cleaned every day and never lacked for anything. There is a lovely big german shephard, Khan, at BHS. He is very friendly. Don't be put off by his bark. He's well behaved and keeps the place secure. He is taken for car rides to the beach often throughout the day. I have no issues with BHS. The only thing I noticed was a little bit of smell from the shower when you first turn on the tap. It quickly goes away once the shower is running. I never complained about it to the people because I was so happy with everything else there.

Dewi and her husband were so kind and not invasive at all. we really felt like it our own home whilst staying there. Also, they have the most beautiful german Shepard puppy khan that is EXTREMELY well behaved and such a sweetie. I cannot recommend enough. we loved it all

• Marcella (10/5): The BEST - This is a hidden gem, a home away from home, where I stayed 2 whole weeks and felt só comfortable. Dewi and John (and there staff) are so kind. The rooms are bigger and more luxiourous then you can see on the pictures. There is a nice balcony / terrace where you can sit / work / read ourside with great views. The location is perfect, it's a 3 min walk from the beach and also close to many restaurants. Although I would always recommend renting a scooter to explore more of Canggu. Next time I am in Bali I am definitly coming back to Berawa Homestay. Thanks for everything Dewi and John! Nothing!!

• Reija-leena (8/5): Very good - Friendly and welcoming staff, quite good location near the beach and beach clubs. The room was clean and comfy and the hotel was really quiet. There was no door between the room and the bathroom, only a shower curtain that did not block any noice, be mindful if travelling with a not-so-good friend. The property seems to be a bit under construction still. No outdoor chill area, the pool is tiny, wouldn't even call it a pool.

Exceptional for the price - Incredible value for money- the room was equipped with all the extra features you would expect in a much more expensive room. The room was really spacious and extremely comfortable- as was the bed. Really nice linen and towels which were changed everyday. Also a lovely outlook if you did chose to open the very effective black out curtains. Lots of light with curtains open and nice and dark for sleeping in with them closed. The family who ran it were lovely and super accommodating and the location couldn’t be beat. It was also very clean and daily room service kept it that way. We ended up extending our stay another 3 nights and this will definitely be our go to place when in Berawa. Nothing. There was nothing to fault. It was perfect.

• Razvan (10/5): Beautiful villa close to Canggu hot spots - -Spacious and in a good location -Very very clean, the cleaning staff was doing an amazing job -Had issues with the wifi when joining zoom calls but they went above and beyond and installed an additional router in my room which solved the problem. Was impressed! -Nice host -The building is quite new -Access to washing machine, the cleaning staff can help you with laundry and ironing and you can just tip them -They have a very sweet German Shepherd. I suggest you get acquainted with the dog after you arrive. I saw other comments complaining about this, but the dog is actually very friendly and smart. Just let him smell you when you arrive and if you are afraid of dogs, don't worry, they always keep him inside when the hosts are not around. -There is no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom. It didn't mind me this time as I was traveling alone, but if you are not traveling alone, you may want more privacy when you go to the bathroom
