Dock is taken down approx. November 1st of each year.

- Kavya (10/5): Perfect staycation! - Lakeside Maison felt like stepping into a quiet poem. Tucked in the heart of Hiller, it’s the kind of place that doesn’t just offer a stay — it offers a feeling. Mornings by the water, golden light spilling through the windows, the soft hush of trees in the breeze — it was peaceful, grounding, and beautifully kept. The home was thoughtfully designed, with little touches that made it feel more like a retreat than a rental. We especially loved how close it was to everything in Prince Edward County — wineries, beaches, and little hidden gems — yet somehow still felt like our own private escape. It’s the kind of place you remember when the city gets too loud. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you for the magic.
- Emily (4/5): Disappointing - As far as the inside of the property it was clean and comfortable . I was sorely disappointed otherwise. The main focal point of the trip was the dock and being close to the water . Upon arrival we were shocked to discover it hadn't been assembled . In no way was it disclosed to us that' the dock would potentially not be available and the ads for this place emphasize the dock as a main feature of the rental . In lieu of the dock had they made some effort in tidying up the outside area and even providing some folding chairs or something by the water it would've been somewhat better but there was nothing available to us . The price point was not worth it without the dock and the outdoor space being there . Also there were no blinds or curtains in the main living space so If privacy is of concern to you this might not be the space for you . Though there was no one roaming the grounds it still might bother some. Overall can't help but feel ripped off .
- Denis (6/5): Disappointing. - Clean and well located with nice view VERY loud plumbing noises -- i.e. toilet being flushed above my room and/or shower draining -- at 4:00 AM. Obvious and serious deficiency in sound insulation. Felt like being in a cheap motel.

- Eleanor (10/5): Amazing and really relaxing! - The apartment is very huge and the outdoor space is vast. It is very clean and aesthetic. We love how it’s just very few steps away from the beach. It could have been better if there if the dock is lighted if ever people want to hang out there in the evening.

- Judith (10/5): Great stay at the lake. - Great location at the lake. Plenty of seating at the lake or at the back patio. Furnished with attention to detail. Small kitchenette, but everything you need for a short stay. We were even allowed to use the kayaks.

The apartment is lovely, well designed and comfortable, amenities were top notch. Most of all, the hosts were friendly, generous and gracious! Wish we could have stayed longer! You can hear people walking above you in the lower-level apartment, not a huge deal.
