Anna was an amazing host picking us up and dropping us off at the port even though it was St George’s Day when we left. • Jessica (10/5): Relaxing, tranquil and beautiful - Beautiful studio with a nice view of the adjacent houses on the hillside! It was clean, well ventilated and the hosts (Anna and her husband) were just wonderful. We got croissants, wine, nuts and biscuits on arrival. Absolutely lovely people! The property is situated quite high up the hillside so to get to the main port and back you have to descend/ascend a lot of steps which could be troublesome for some people! However Anna and her husband picked us up and dropped us off at the ferry port with our bags which was lovely! They showed us the nearest bus too!

• Markus (9/5): Absolut Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Wir kommen gerne wieder… - Die ruhige Lage und die angenehme Räumlichkeiten, sowie die raschen Rückantworten unseres Gastgebers. Bei der Ankunft war Wein, Knabberzeugs, Wasser und Starters im Kühlschrank. Top Service, Transport zur Unterkunft und zur Zurückreise. Bei einem Aufenthalt von mehr als zwei Tagen, wäre eine Grundsusstatung an Reinigungsmittel sowie Besen und Handwischer sehr angenehm.

Proactive and consistent communications, followed up with a warm and friendly welcome from courteous hosts, ευχαριστώ πολύ Anna. Pertinent to the upstairs studio: a romantic, bright and airy space, perfect for couples. The emphasis on natural colour tones and materials (exposed stonework, wooden beams, cotton voile drapes, hand-built kitchenette and wetroom), with great attention to detail, fills the interior with genuine charm and a relaxing ambiance. Noteable comfort features are the efficient air conditioning system, copious hot water, and fly-screened fully openable windows. The location, high above the bustling harbour level, is peaceful and yet just a short stroll from a couple of well-stocked local shops, a bakery, and the little cluster of cafés and restaurants in the still-authentic Chorio neighbourhood at the top of Kali Strata steps (excellent for fitness maintenance). Nothing re the property itself. Cockerels from local farmsteads/gardens can be heard thoughout the night; yet easily dealt with by closing windows.

• Martin (10/5): Das beste Haus in Symi - Das beste Haus auf der Insel Symi. Traumlage und einfach bezaubernd schön. Das Haus ist groß und sehr sauber. Alles perfekt ausgestattet. Es liegt zentral in der Mitte des Ortes auf der Höhe mit perfektem Anschluss an den besten Restaurants, Cafes und Tavernen. Wir hätten noch viel länger dort wohnen sollen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett, sie haben uns sogar vom Hafen hin und zurück gebrach.

Wij komen nog een keer t - Fantastische studio, erg knus ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuke vide met heerlijk bed en fijne keuken met voldoende spullen. Heerlijk balkon waar je met een kop koffie een prachtig uitzicht hebt over het pleintje en de stad. Geweldige locatie: supermarkt en gezellige eettentjes om de hoek! Anna en haar man zijn geweldige hosts, warm welkom en fantastische service. Er stonden lekkernijen voor ons klaar en we werden gehaald en gebracht naar de boot.
• David (10/5): Kind and attentive owners made for a relaxing, memorable and idylllic stay in their lovely apartment - the location is lovely in a quiet village above the town of Symi with a couple of tavernas and 3 or 4 nice restaurants within a 5 minute walk. It was an easy 10 minute stroll down to Symi town. There are taxis in the town and a bus to run you back up if you don't fancy the 450 odd steps back up! The studio itself is cosy, spacious and well equipped with a coffee machine, kettle and gas hob with pots and pans and a host of features such as stone walls and beamed ceilings. Anna and her husband are the perfect hosts. They kindly gave us a lift to and from the ferry terminal - which was extremely helpful. Getting to Symi from Rhodes (and back) is straightforward with several ferries a day to and from the island. If you're looking for a relaxing break on a beautiful island - then Katrani studio is a great choice. Nothing

• Thorben (10/5): Amazing studio in Symi, would definitely book it again! - The studio has all you need. Everything is new and well curated. The location is very nice, with a great bakery, grocery store, and great restaurants within walking distance. Anna is the most caring host we’ve ever met, always available and so kind. Very minor issue, the studio can be quite bright at night/early morning. So if you’re a sleeper sensitive to light, we’d recommend a sleep mask.

Anna e il marito ci hanno atteso al porto nonostante il ritardo del traghetto, accompagnato e portato le valige in casa e anche alla nostra partenza ci hanno gentilmente portato le valige e riaccompagnato al porto! • Foteini (10/5): Wonderful accommodation in a very beautiful island - Great location, spotlessly clean room, Anna and Nikitas are the kindest hosts. The free pick-up and drop-off service comes very handy in an island with a steep terrain. Located in a very peaceful neighborhood but also only a 2 minute walk from the restaurants of Xorio, I couldn't recommend it more.

Hun hentede os personligt ved havnen og kørte os helt hen til vores næste hotel – bare fordi hun ville hjælpe. Værelset var skønt, alt var ubeklageligt, og vi følte os virkelig velkomne fra første sekund. Aldrig har vi mødt en vært med så meget varme, generøsitet og omsorg. Hvis du overvejer at bo her – gør det. Du vil ikke fortryde det!

Eve girerken meyve tabağı ve şarap ikram ediyor. Tuz, yağ, baharatlar yemek yapmak için yeterli.5 gece kaldık ve hiç sıkılmadık ve bir o kadar daha olsak kalırdık. Limandan sizi almaya geliyorlar ve giderken bırakıyorlar. Simi gecelerinden birisinde güneş gözlüğümü taverna da kayıp ettim. Ev sahibi güneş gözlüğümü bulmak için inanılmaz bir mücadele verdi ve ben adadan ayrıldıktan sonra gözlüğümü açık denizde bekleyen bir yatta bulunan, yanlışlıkla gözlüğümü almış birisinden aldı. Bu gözlüğü bana rodos adasına feribot ile ulaştırdı. Çok iyi insanlar olduğunu fazlasıyla kanıtlamış oldu.
• Ogeborg (10/5): The perfect vacation - We stayed in this apartment for 9 days in Symi, and it was one of the best vacations of our lives. Anna, the host, is such a kind and warm hearted person. She helped us with everything from laundry to tips around Symi. She also surprised us with everything from wine to pastries. The apartment is gorgeous, so clean and tidy, but charming and cozy. It was perfect staying up on the hill of Symi away from the noise during night, and if you don’t want to take the stairs there’s a bus stop close by. The AC was also saving us during the heat we experienced. If you want a dream stay in Symi, i would highly recommend Katrani Studios. Symi and Anna are forever in our hearts! • Rosie (10/5): 10/10 stay and I will definitely be coming back to symi. - We had the most amazing stay at Katrani studios! Our host was so friendly and helpful, picking us up from the port to avoid carrying our luggage up, and even dropping our bags to the port on the final day! Plus, answered any questions about transport, beaches etc via WhatsApp. The apartment was absolutely perfect size for two friends or a couple, really clean and well equipped with everything you’d need. Location was ideal if you don’t mind walking up and down some steps (there is a bus that can take you if not), lots of lovely authentic/family run restaurants and bars in the village within a few minutes walking distance. So easy to get to the port to access water taxis to take you to all the AMAZING beaches on the island. 10/10 stay and I will definitely be coming back!
• Robin (10/5): Exactly what you need for the perfect stay on Symi! - The apartment was fantastic, clean, modern and very stylish. It had everything you’d need for a stay on Symi, a kitchen with a hob and utensils, super comfy large bed, air conditioning and the bathroom was modern with a great shower. The outdoor seating area at the front was perfect for sitting out having breakfast or a drink in the evening. The location is brilliant and peaceful. You have easy access to everything you’d need with a bakery and supermarket a very short walk away. There are also a number of restaurants and bars about 5 minutes walk away at the top of the Kali Strata, all of which are well worth a visit. It is also easy to get into Yailos, either by walking down the Kali Strata or getting the bus from either the windmills or Horio. Pedi is also within walking distance or you could get the bus. Anna and her husband are fantastic hosts and picked us and our luggage up from the ferry, showing us the apartment and even left us a few goodies in the fridge as well as a lovely home baked cake and some home made apricot jam! Anna made sure there was everything we’d need for our first morning including bottled water, some bread and coffee/tea. There was also a coffee machine should you want to use it. We can’t recommend Katrani Studios highly enough! If you’re a frequent traveller to Symi or new to the island you can’t go wrong staying here!
• Sean (10/5): Exceptional - We booked this apartment very last minute for a three-night stay, and we couldn’t have been happier with our decision. The host was incredibly kind and even offered to pick us up at the port — an absolute bonus that made our arrival so much easier and stress-free. When we arrived at the apartment, we were blown away. It was absolutely stunning — beautifully restored and everything looked like it had just been finished. The attention to detail and the overall design made it feel luxurious, yet still incredibly comfortable. We had the most amazing stay and genuinely didn’t want to leave. We were desperate to extend our time there, but unfortunately, the apartment was already booked after our stay. We had to move on, but we’ll absolutely be back if we get the chance! She was lovely and even baked us some delicious carrot cake muffins :)
• Hannah (10/5): Absolutely perfect, paradise for visiting lovely Symi, with everything you need and lovely hosts, we would love to comeb - Thankyou so much to Anna and Nikitas for our beautiful stay in Symi, the apartment was perfect, so clean and thoughtfully organised. Our welcome gifts were a wonderful surprise! We really enjoyed cooking delicious Greek food from the local market/shop only 15 steps away from the house, the bakery was also less than a 2 minute walk for fresh bread and pastries. The apartment stayed perfectly cool as the old stone walls protect from the sun, so we rarely needed to put air conditioning on ! Everything was amazing some added extras would be - -Floor scraper for bathroom when the floor is wet, so it doesn’t damage the paintwork in the long term:) -Pair of scissors could be useful in the kitchen :) -Possibly an Area for bins outside, to discourage any animals :))

Steps to harbour need be considered, 5-10 mins down, longer coming up but easy to navigate. Bus service very good to port and village. Very clean, welcoming pack (especially homemade lemon cake by Anna) was excellent. Hosts so friendly, picking us up and dropping us off at port. We had one very heavy rainy day which stopped us going out, a TV would have been a bonus.

Very tasteful and high quality renovation and interior. Well equipped kitchen good enough to prepare a simple meal. Quiet surroundings. Anna and her husband were very warm and kind hosts. Oh, and go eat at Zoe’s taverna. Well worth it! It’s on top of the hill. Bit of a hike sometimes.

• Alessia (10/5): If I will come to Symi another time I certainly stay again at Katrani studios. - The apartment is five minutes by feet to the port and restaurants. At our arrival the owner Anna pick up us to the ferry and bring us to the apartment and the same she did when we have to take the ferry to leave. At our arrival she also made for us a delicious cake and a homemade jam and leave some bottle of water in the fridge. She’s helpful if you have any problem or request.

A great start to my Greek holiday! - The bed and pillow were extremely comfortable and the house was in a very quiet location so I slept so well, needed after travelling from NZ. And the bathroom was spacious and shower excellent. Also Anna and her husband were very helpful, meeting me at the port and dropping me back at the end of the stay. Chorio felt more authentic that Gialos and I loved waking to the sound of the roosters!

There was a delicious homemade cake, fruit and wine, beer etc in the fridge. The location suited us up in the old town and there was a supermarket and bakery just around the corner along with 3 restaurants and two bars. A great stay - thank you!

Anna the host was so welcoming and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay and more! She gave us lots of great info about the island and was always a text message or phone call away if needed. Location was beautiful you have everything you need very close in the village such as bakery’s, restaurants, shops. Everything within walking distance. The room itself was beautifully renovated and had a real luxury finish. Will 100% be returning to Katrani in the future and would recommend to anyone visiting Symi.

They had put some wine, jams and other sweet treats which made the stay even more lovely. They gave us great recommendations, took us to hire a moped and took as back to the harbour at the end of our stay. The accomodation itself was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Great location and good value for money. Would definitely stay again.

Baked me a cake, drinks in the fridge and a basked of fruit and snacks. Very thoughtful and welcoming. Simple downhill walk into the Port if you don’t want the walk back jump on the on the hour local bus back up the hill.

Anna left us wine and fruit in the room on arrival and checked in with us throughout our stay and was really great with recommendation’s for things around Symi. I can’t recommend this place enough and would absolutely return next time we go back to Symi. Nothing, everything was perfect.

They had snacks and wine ready in the apartment and she even made us some delicious apple pie ! The apartment itself is beautiful and very clean. It has everything you could ask for. Location is quiet, outside from the port where all tourists arrive for day trips. Still easily accessible if you’re up for walking some stairs. Days were hot, so we just walked slowly and enjoyed all the beautiful doors and colorful apartments around. There’s also couple good restaurants near if you don’t want to walk all the way down every day. Also market for groceries and spots to see the amazing view of Symi island. We wish we had stayed longer in Symi and in this apartment. It felt like home 💙 Everything was great !

A great location at the top of the mountain, 10 minutes walk down to the harbor. The facilities are great, everything was clean and tidy. The hosts are super lovely, great people! • Beccy (10/5): Perfect, tranquil, fun. - Anna’s daughter and husband kindly collected us from the ferry and from the moment we entered the property we fell in love. Anna welcomed us and explained the workings of the apartment. It was spacious with a well equipped kitchen, homely sitting room and massive bathroom, all topped off with a cool mezzanine with a large bed. Anna had left a welcome hamper full of homemade goodies, wine, cold drinks, a chocolate Easter bunny and a red egg (traditional for Greek Easter) and filled us in about Greek Easter traditions and local restaurants, bars. Such a wonderful, friendly Greek welcome. Now onto the shower, the best shower ever, spacious and powerful with a plentiful supply of hot water. We hired a quad bike to explore the island and Anna promptly answered any queries we had. After three days in beautiful Symi Anna and her husband gave us a lift back to the ferry and we left a piece of our hearts on the island. Nothing. It was perfect.

The accommodation is perfect with everything you need and in a great location. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Symi.

• Lucy (10/5): Anna was the best host, I have ever had. She is kind and helpful and goes out of her way to make your stay memorable. We - Anna and her husband collected us from the port. She communicated prior to our arrival. And baked us a delicious cake. The studio had everything you need and there were complimentary biscuits, water, juice and wine. She also baked us Symi pastries throughout the week. The studio is close to a bakery and supermarket. Nothing.

• Kaitlin (10/5): Convenient location to feel like we were on vacation (tourists) but also among the locals. - The host was very accommodating and made sure we had a ride to and from the ferry during our stay. She and her family (mom and aunt) were very sweet. There was even a bottle of wine and some snacks on the table welcoming us after a full day of travel. No complaints-
• Dr (10/5): Perfect village stay for vacation/digital work break. - I was in the ground floor studio. It is newly renovated and in gorgeous taste. It has everything I needed for a week of vacation/digital working. The Internet is great. Views stunning. Everything is perfect. Anna is super helpful and her husband met me off the Rhodes ferry. Very welcoming and a very thoughtful welcome pack with wine, fruit and treats. The local is up many steps, thus the stunning views and authentic village experience. There plenty of lovely tavernas very close, and grocery shops. I am loving my stay. The steps down to the port town are very manageable and there’s an hourly 5 min yellow small bus (2euros) that takes you up to the village if climbing up the steps doesn’t appeal. The bus also goes on to Pedi beach. It’s perfect! Stylish and homely, bed very comfortable and extremely clean. Fabulous hosts. Everything is great.
• C (10/5): Perfect stay on Symi - Wonderful, newly renovated traditional house. It has all the amenities you could need and is beautifully decorated. Located in the heart of the village close to supermarkets, restaurants and bars but very quiet. Anna and Nikitas are wonderful, friendly hosts who made our stay on Symi very special.
• Max (10/5): A thoroughly enjoyable and delightful apartment which we would return to without hesitation. - The apartment was immaculate and tastefully decorated. Amazing welcome pack. Anna and Nikitas couldn't have been more welcoming, Nikitas was there to meet us off the Ferry and drove us the short journey to the apartment, showing us Tavernas, Supermarket and Bakery along the way in the village.
• Eray (10/5): everything perfect - The owners are very very friendly and kind people. I will never forget their support and help as we missed our flight to reach there. The room was very nice. Even the smallest details like coffee cream, snacks, wine, fruits, etc… were available in the kitchen. The design of the room was very modern with traditional elements. • Sofia (10/5): I will totally recommend you to stay at Katrani - The studio is really beautiful and made with love! We received it really clean, we didnt have so fresh and nice smelling towels in any accommodation before.
• Ioanna (10/5): Wonderful hosts, beautiful home. - Perfectly perched away from the hubbub of the port, this property is beautiful - clean, comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. Pedi beach is a 15 - 20 minute walk and there are a handful of eateries within 5 minutes walk. Hosts are a lovely couple who treated me like family; they were incredibly helpful and kind. 5 days was not enough for me.
• Sarah (10/5): Beautiful! - A very special place high above the port of Symi but well worth the climb. Great care and attention to detail has gone into this place and the owners were wonderfully helpful. Fabulous taverna nearby. Everything was perfect!

• Georgios (10/5): Loved all about it!!! - We had an exceptional stay in Katrani Studios and can’t recommend it more. There’s nothing not to like at this place. It’s brand new, very authentic Symian style, beautiful with attention to every decorative detail, super clean and well located, just at the main square and restaurants of chorio. The real asset of this place though is its hosts!! Very heart-welcoming and attentive for our needs from the first minute we stepped on the island. We even had welcome treats and fresh fruits, enough for breakfast and snacking, thank you!!!
• Ioannis (10/5): By far the best hosts I've ever met; Anna and Nikitas are incredible people. - Our stay at Katrani might be my favorite stay ever. An old stone house at a beautiful and very convenient location, recently renovated by the owners themselves. They put a lot of love and good taste and it shows. In the course of 3 days we became friends. The first night, they drove us to a big festival happening up the mountain and treated us like old friends; an incredible experience. Next visit, we will make sure to stay there again. Nothing negative to report. The whole experience was incredibly good.
• Alex (10/5): Charming apartment perfectly located in the old town. Owners were super friendly and hospitable. - The owners actually picked us up from the harbor as the apartment is on the hill in the old town. Friendly and personal service from the first moment.
