Guest Reviews
- Uzo (4/5): All in all, I enjoyed my trip to Belgium because I travelled to other cities like Ghent and Bruges. - I liked my room. It was clean. The building could use some sprucing up. The managers of this facility could use some help with English-speaking translators.
- Melanie (1/5): Disaster - - It was a disaster! At first we couldn't come in, no one was there and no one was available, we stood in the cold in front of a closed door for a long time. There is also no name of the accommodation on the house, there is not even a ring, the house number would only be written on it with a pen.
Hours later we came in, we never saw the landlord.
The room was dirty, hair on the sink. There were bugs running in the bed, which were soaked with blood. We had to scratch ourselves everywhere all night. Now, a week later, I still have rashes all over my body since this accommodation.
I can only advise against it!

- Aleksandra (5/5): Just send guests a message with the lockbox code, room number, and which key to take from the lockbox. Please do this—it - The bed was very comfortable, and the bedding was clean. A tram stop is located just 100 meters from the apartment door, and you can reach the town hall in 20-30 minutes. :) Unfortunately, that’s where the advantages of this place end. For two weeks, I waited for a response on the booking chat to confirm whether towels and soap would be provided (based on prior experience, I always double-check before arrival). The bathroom was horribly dirty – hair on the walls, limescale on the glass, and mold in the corners. It clearly hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in a long time. There was no soap in the dispenser by the sink. A body wash bottle was left in the shower – I wasn’t sure if it was from previous guests or provided by the staff. There was no door between the bathroom and the bedroom, which might not be a problem for couples, but it’s worth mentioning. The window was covered with what seemed like a tent tarp or some other odd piece of fabric. The place felt very neglected.
But the worst part – which could easily have been avoided – was the lack of clear check-in information. We arrived at the given address without any detailed instructions on how to get inside. I called the number listed on Booking.com, and when I asked, “Do you speak English?” the response was “Oui,” followed by only French. I was given a code for a lockbox but no information on which key was ours or which room number we were assigned.
In the meantime, another guest arrived with the same issue – no clear instructions. After the staff informed us that “our key is the one with something red on it” (there were two like that), we went floor to floor trying different doors until we finally found our room. Later, someone from the administration briefly showed up and confirmed that we had indeed found the right room. We were given a Wi-Fi password, which didn’t work.
Fortunately, the issues I’ve described above can be very easily fixed. Just send guests a message with the lockbox code, room number, and which key to take from the lockbox. Please do this—it will make things easier for both your guests and your staff. And, of course, it’s worth paying more attention to cleanliness.
Best regards.
- Ayla (1/5): Gross - The bathroom looked nice enough The room smelled of moisture. The lights did not work, except in the bathroom, so we kept that open so as not to stumble in the night. The mattress was smaller than the bed, making it real hard for two tall people to actually fit in there. And speaking of bed: bed bugs. Discovered them when I couldn't sleep in the too narrow bed. Left after the first night and aired my frustration/disgust with booking and the owners did not respond. Slept in the car for the second night and I DID not hear from the owners back at all. Money wasted!!
(Before I forget: they had barely half a roll of toilet paper and no soap)
- Serghei (1/5): Bad - Host doesn't understand English at all,
So if you need to solve a problem no one will help you !!!
I have problem issuing the invoice
I called and wrote multiple times even in Franch in the end no result.
Called Booking as well 5 times, I lost 400 eur because of it.

- Hg (10/5): Exceptional - Very Nice place to stay. Was close to the centrum, everything was with the car like 10 minutes Max away and of you don’t have a car with a 2 min walk you can take the tram that was Very Nice to know. You have shop nearby for everything you need. The room was very Nice, compact and very clean the home owner gave us a Nice welcome and explained everything very well and if we Needed anything he responded right away.
