Guest Reviews
- JUAN (10/5): - Personal amable, muy bonito los alrededores. Buen desayuno Sin calefaccion
- Annegret (10/5): - Perfectly situated for Wells and Glastonbury. Cute farm, nice rooms ( although for Germans a little too cold, but that is a german problem). Wonderful breakfast. Good choice.
- Dominika (7/5): - Lovely location, friendly staff, very clean room Breakfast was served sparingly.all produce was lovely and good quality but not enough of it
- Athena (10/5): -
- Laura (9/5): Pretty, friendly B&B near Glastonbury - It was a very picturesque setting and the cottage had lots of character. Our room was beautiful and really colourful, which made it feel personalised and interesting and the owners clearly have put a lot of thought into the spaces. The communal lounge was nice too. And our en suite was really spacious. The communal area had tea and coffee rather than in the bedrooms.
- Heidi (8/5): -
- Kirsty (7/5): Delightful farmhouse stay with kind and friendly hosts. - Excellent place to stay with charming farmhouse and lots of outbuildings. Great breakfast provided by Joel. Continental but all fresh and felt homemade. I was staying with a friend at the weekend and we had an outdoor project to work on. The weather was very hot and Joel provided us with tables, seating and shade. They were very helpful and hospitable. Unfortunately the location was next to a busy road and this could be noisy at night. The plumbing in the shower was a bit dated and required some fine tuning to get the temperature right,
- Amanda (10/5): Joel was extremely welcoming and Littlewell Farm is spotless, characterful with interesting decor. - The continental breakfast was very good and my g/f & d/f options were kindly catered for.
- Ho (9/5): - The owner was very friendly, and the breakfast was excellent. I loved the selection of breads, pastries, cheeses, fresh fruits, and yogurt. The house was very charming, and the room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very comfortable, and the living room was warm and cozy — a lovely space for my friends and me to sit on the sofa, have tea, and chat. One of our friends was unable to take a hot shower, as the hot water hadn’t recovered in time.
- Graeme (10/5): It made the weekend excellent - Everthing N?A
- Terry (10/5): Charming beautiful comfortable stay , waking to the amazing host cooking us breakfast . - Convenient location , took a short walk from wells city centre , charming entrance and beautifully kept garden , The room was immaculate and had everything , tea and coffee biscuits were lovely , also played a quick game of chess in the living room . The host was amazing and friendly we were made to feel very comfortable , breakfast was exceptional and a big selection , it was delicious and we felt very spoilt . fresh fruit , pastries , meats, fresh yogurt and granola . Very friendly and pleasant stay , slept so well , nice and warm . I liked everything

- Trudy (8/5): - Beautiful house in such a lovely location! The room was great with an en suite bathroom that was more than big enough! The owners were helpful with everything we needed and breakfast in the morning was really nice. The rooms should have heating controls in them, when we got in for the night the room was freezing and we had no way to make it warmer which meant sleeping in a lot of layers of clothing.
- Michael (7/5): - Das Frühstück war nicht so doll. Man musste sich alles selber machen und es gab nur Nescafé
- Ward (8/5): We enjoyed our stay and Joel was very helpful. Would recommend to friends - Would prefer traditional breakfast but it was nice and beautifully presented. The headboard on the bed was very uncomfortable
- Katherine E (8/5): - Beautiful location - in walking distance from Wells cathedral
- Kerry (10/5): Very idiotic , I would like would highly recommend 💕 - Very pretty , comfortable and we had wonderful night! There was nothing not to like!

We would definitely stay here again.

- Stuart (9/5): Littlewell Farm - Lovely converted farmhouse, very friendly staff and just outside Wells on the way to Glastonbury. Nice rooms with a communal room to relax and chat in. Could do with lighting on the Farm sign on the road as it is easy to miss in the dark.
- Sally (9/5): We had a lovely night at the Littlewell Farm B&B, the breakfast was delicious. - We loved the room and the en-suite, clean and quiet, comfortable bed, slippers and the host. The location was ideal, we walked into Wells, loved it. I had to be careful on the stairs.

- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tanya (9/5): Superb - Lots of character Nothing
- Juliet (9/5): Great - Friendly, comfortable Possibly tea and coffee in the room
- Bruna (10/5): fantastic! Love the owners! - What did I like: location (great for Glastonbury fest) the owners (they were super super friendly and kind!) the strawberries, the quiche and the garden of the house :) The bin in the room was too small
- Tobias (8/5): Cute farm BnB in bucolic Somerset run by a lovely family - we enjoyed our stay :) - Lovely farm, great staff/owners who are a couple with a very cute toddler. Nicely furnished rooms and thoughtful themes (e.g. maritime, arabic, etc). the area is beautiful, and even without a car was fairly easy to get to wells/glastonbury etc via bus or foot. Amazing breakfast. Nice garden and farm, lovely vibes. Nothing terrible - these are all small things; we found the beds quite short and narrow for us (two men, 6' and 6'1), our feet were hanging off a bit, and in the summer heat, heavy duvets were a bit hot. Not a massive deal though. The hosts were kind and helpful when asked, but perhaps a bit more engagement or local advice/information would've been nice, e.g. about what to do in the area. Finally, and this is barely a negative, but having access to the kitchen might've been a nice touch in a remote location like theirs, although i recognise that this isn't typical for BnBs.
- Sandra (10/5): Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful gardens and views - Breakfast was excellent. Location just right for local walks and reaching town. Nothing
- Malwina (10/5): Exceptional - Littlewell Farm is a truly lovely place to stay.
Set on a peaceful farm just outside Wells, it offers a perfect balance of quiet seclusion and convenient location. It’s situated right on the road between Wells and Glastonbury, close to Wookey Hole, and only a short drive (or about a 40-minute walk) to Wells Cathedral. Lidl and other amenities are also nearby.
The house is beautifully decorated in a cosy, rustic style, with great attention to detail. Everything was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the view of the garden and the relaxing atmosphere. A bonus for us was the chess board in the lounge – a lovely touch for guests who enjoy a quiet evening indoors.
Breakfast was tasty and freshly made, parking was easy, and the hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful countryside stay with great access to local sights. None
- Bennett (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Ian (5/5): Friendly and relaxed atmosphere in a charming setting. - Very enjoyable. A little variety from the norm ( eg . Quiche) For my part I enjoyed all aspects of this short stay. My wife’s only complaint was that it was cold inside the house.
- David (10/5): Excellent in every respect. Highly recommended. - The location is excellent for Wells, Glastonbury, etc. The accommodation is in an old farmhouse, well decorated, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was continental, but generous and augmented by homemade quiche. Joel was a charming, helpful and efficient host. Nothing to complain about. Even the weather was good.
- Docherty (9/5): Superb -
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Morgan (7/5): Good -
- Morgan (10/5): I always stay here every two months it’s perfect. - Love this beautiful place the owners are so incredibly friendly location is spot on for Glastonbury and the garden is so pretty. Nothing

- Izzy-fen (9/5): Superb - A beautiful little B&B! The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. The B&B is ideally located between the town of Wells and Glastonbury. The host was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again. While breakfast was very good, it could have been a little more varied.
- Polly (9/5): A conveniently-located historic farmhouse with a warm welcome and the personal touch. - An exquisite choice of breakfast items, beautifully-presented. A warm and personal welcome from the host who also served breakfast. The decor of each room reflected the owners' travels and told their own story.
- Eric (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was good, but when it said Breakfast included, should made clear it is continental.
- Graeme (9/5): Very nice relaxing stay - Very good location
- Kerry (9/5): Excellent location to explore the area. Comfortable room and delicious breakfast. - Breakfast was continental (as advertised and expected) and it was delicious.
Room was comfortable and roomy. Would like another mirror in the bedroom (only one in the bathroom).
- Carl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (10/5): Fantastic - Everything N/a
- Dew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kathrin (8/5): Lovely decor and host. - Very friendly and helpful host. Decorated to a high standard. Would like tea and coffee making facilities in the room, rather than centrally. Breakfast was a bit on the small side. A bit of noise from road if windows are open.
- Ryan (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (9/5): Excellent hosts - Good location Very quiet
- Jasmine (10/5): Beautiful B&B with an excellent breakfast and a lovely, welcoming host! - Joel made us a delicious selection of breakfast items and was easily able to provide options for my partner who has multiple intolerances. Delicious! The room was lovely and comfy and the location was beautiful and peaceful.
- Ruth (8/5): Very good, good access to Wells and Glastonbury - would stay longer next time. - Lovely property, peaceful location with country views from the room. Able to make drinks in the communal lounge room and take them to the room. We were given all relevant info with regard to facilities, WIFI and some directions for local travel by the proprietor on arrival at the property which has beautiful garden area where guests can sit.
- Alison (9/5): Very comfortable overnight stay with great hosts and a super location. - Great location, very comfortable room and warm welcome from Joel, who was helpful in letting us pick up our key early and let us return to the property very late.
- Hannah (10/5): Cosy, kind. - Very clean, thoughtfully laid out. It had a sense of pride in itself. Lovely gardens.
- Keith (9/5): The setting was peaceful and the cottage garden was lovely. Breakfast was exceptional! - The view into the garden was lovely and the decor was intriguing. Joel was a friendly host and made an exceptional breakfast. It would have been nice to have a table to put our bags on in the room.
- Barton-willson (9/5): A lovely place to stay in a very good location - Friendly welcoming host. Allowed us to use secure garage to keep bicycles overnight. All facilities worked. Comfortable beds.good breakfast. Somewhere to dry wet clothes (eg electric towel rail). Earliest breakfast was 8.30 when we needed an early start to meet our train. Access to a tap for drinking water and tea.
- Sonya (10/5): Exceptional - The location was perfect, just a 20 minute walk into Wells
Littlewell farm was perfect in every way, will definitely be coming back to stay, fully enjoyed the whole visit
- Joey (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joanna (9/5): Ideal location, clean and tidy - Maybe a little more choice of breakfast, toast made to order not left to get cold and maybe orange juice instead of water.
- Georgina (8/5): Very good -
- Andi (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was spot on, gorgeous place to say with wonderful owners. Can’t wait to come back
- Virginia (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sandie (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely place to stay, the rooms are all very clean and the service is great. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and the gardens are beautiful. Maybe a mirror in the bedroom and a shelf would be handy.
- Lesley (9/5): Superb - Easy to find. Very convenient for Wells, 35 min walk, and Glastonbury . Very kind and friendly host. Everywhere clean and well fitted.
Tasty fresh breakfast. Plenty of parking. Bed a bit soft
- Ruth (8/5): Needs just a few tweaks. - It was in a perfect location for Wells.
Host very sociable.
Needs a few little tweaks to make it perfect, but we would stay again. We would have preferred a choice of a small English breakfast
The stairs are very steep, and no handrail or anti slip mat in the shower which are necessary for us as we are over75. Also a little shelf in the bathroom to place sponge bags on would be nice.
- Emma (9/5): Nice B&B close to Wells - Room was nice size, breakfast was good and location near to wells and easy to find. Check-in instructions
- Misha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cherri (10/5): Great base - Breakfast was good Shame didn't have coffee/tea facility in room
- Wang (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (8/5): The host was lovely, very helpful and responsive to any requests - Lovely location, beautiful gardens
Rooms were fab, newly renovated and nicely decorated, Good shower, extremely clean
Proper hairdryer provided too.
Nice comfortable lounge where the tea and coffee making facilities are. The room could do with a mirror on the wall next to the recess for clothes , in order to facilitate
Hair drying as that’s where the best socket was positioned.
We really enjoyed the minimalist continental breakfast of granola with fresh fruits and yogurt and the meats, cheeses and quiche but it wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste as only had sourdough bread, however there were lovely croissants and pain au raisin to choose from too
- Ken (1/5): Atrocious - Nothing Everything
- John (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location, lovely host, and great breakfast Needs a mirror in room
- Richard (8/5): Nice property with nice garden - Breakfast different than usual but we liked it Small dinning room one guest moaning .Booked through booking .com and they didn't seem to know we were comming he gave us a bottle of prosecco as good will gesture
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Parminder (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gill (8/5): Beautiful cottage, new business which needs work to earn a favourable review or revisit - The cottage was old, authentic, clean, newly decorated with a beautiful cottage garden. Lovely continental breakfast. Attentive, friendly and helpful host. The rooms are themed and very personal and not really in keeping with a Somerset country cottage.... ours had a Bali beach theme. The bed linen wasn't ironed, it was very creased and gave the room a cheap look. The duvet was flimsey and did not feel at all luxurious (as advertised). The mattress on one of the twin beds did not fit the frame and we had to put a cushion in the gap. I had to ask for a spare toilet roll. No tea / coffee in the room or bottle water. Tea / coffee in the sitting room below but not convenient... no choice, only standard tea.
- James (8/5): Excellent place to stay. - Breakfast was fine. Organic. Room was close to main road.
- Samantha (10/5): Beautiful place, lovely friendly hosts. Recommended. - Great 😊 Everything lovely
- Morgan (10/5): Perfect spot to stay in Glastonbury - It’s beautiful so pretty, clean and relaxing Nothing.. that’s why I have 10 stars!
- Amanda (9/5): Great property and welcoming host - Welcoming host. Lovely property and great location. Extremely clean. Comfortable room. Short drive from Wells. A mirror in the bedroom would be useful (not an issue really though)
- 12holly12 (9/5): Idyllic farm stay - The warm and personable welcome. The farm was idyllic and beautiful gardens and landscape to wake up to. Beautiful decorated rooms and communal areas. Breakfast was generous, delicious and in a relaxed settings. Location was perfect for visiting wells, Glastonbury and surrounding areas. Thanks for the great stay. There is nothing we didn't like and would visit again and highly recommend. As a note of feedback, a mirror may be welcome in the bedroom.
- Rebecca (7/5): Good -
- Mike (5/5): Nice but could have been better. Need to be more specific with heating instructions - Breakfast could be better. More traditional.
Room was really very cold Room was very cold
- Jane (8/5): Great hosts, fab breakfast, quiet with comfy beds. - Plenty of parking, well signposted as we arrived in the evening. Joel was great, welcomed us and explained everything about our room and facilities. Had a solid sleep, comfortable bed in a quiet location. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful made by Jen who again was a wonderful host. A few minutes drive from the town and Indian restaurant within walking distance. Would stay again, highly recommended, thank you both!
- Morgan (10/5): Such wonderful hosts they are so welcoming and friendly - It’s beautiful and close to town centre Nothing
- Sue (7/5): Lovely hosts, great breakfast, cold room and bathroom. - Great hosts and breakfast. We arrived early to beat the carnival traffic/closures and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. We were able to leave our things in the room (huge thanks) and left at 3pm ish so assumed it was chilly because it was in between heating times/room being aired. Great hosts and would stay again knowing what we now know. Turns out the heating wasn’t on inc in the bathroom (not sure if there is any heating in the bathroom?) so we were really cold. Fed back when we left (wasn’t sure how to contact owners late night/early morning as no instructions) and response was lovely and apologetic and they assumed a guest had turned it off
- Natasha (9/5): Superb - We had a lovely stay at Littlewell Farm in October. The location was stunning with lovely views, was easy to get to and the breakfast was amazing. nothing !
- Sum (8/5): Nice place for a weekend getaway with the family. - Very good B&B for family stay and for those liking privacy and quiet surroundings. The place is very clean and provided a very comfortable night’s rest. We were just served continental breakfast. It was satisfactory but for the price a full English breakfast would do very nicely.
