- Serj O (10/5): A unique experience of staying in an old provinciehuis - It might be one of the most special hotels I've ever stayed at. The facilities is top notch, but most importantly it feels a bit like you're staying at the museum, because its a real old building with authentic pieces of decoration (e.g. ceiling, walls, door handles). Its just very unique and special. The checkin process was super smooth, we were helped with accommodating our child and given a cot and extra bedding with no issues. The room we stayed at was great, we will definitely remember this stay for a long time.

Een klein detail blijft de gehorigheid vanaf de gang naar de kamer. Isolatie is waarschijnlijk lastig in zo'n beschermd monumentaal pand.

- Anneke (8/5): Prettig verblijf bij Hotel Staatsman - Fijn hotel op een centrale locatie in de mooie stad Zwolle. Het gebouw is prachtig en de kamer was mooi ingericht, ruim en voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en ze hadden zelfs aandacht besteed aan de verjaardag van mijn man! Ondanks een fijn verblijf, vond ik zo nu en dan het huisparfum op de kamer wat overheersend. Het was geen onprettige geur, maar ik kan wat gevoelig zijn voor sterke geuren.

- Bente (7/5): Posh place but not very accommodating staff - Grand old building in central Zwolle. High ceilings and quite spacious room. High quality bed linen. No one was there to receive us on arrival and no one was in the reception when we left. This should instead be be clearly stated as a Self check in routine (like some hotels have). Our room was next to the evening-/night entrance, thus we were disturbed by noise.
- Kim (10/5): Prachtige luxe ingerichte kamer, hotel is hartje centrum - De kamer was subliem, het bed heerlijk, en de badkamer met als extra het vrijstaande bad onwijs fijn. De verschillende kussens en het heerlijke dekbed maakten de nacht extra comfortabel. Het hotel is heerlijk gelegen in harte centrum. Van binnen prachtig ingericht met behoud van alle authentieke elementen. Ik vond het een beetje jammer dat er alleen water in de minibar voorhanden was. Een lekkere snack was ook welkom geweest. Ik moest 's ochtends helaas alweer heel vroeg weg daardoor had ik geen tijd voor een ontbijt. Die je ook niet in het hotel maar wel bij Anne & Max kan nuttigen.

- Geraldine (8/5): - Bed en douche waren goed Bij aankomst werd ik "ontvangen" door een heer die dacht dat ik voor t concert kwam hij was denk ik doodsbang dat ik geen kaartje had. Vervolgens werd ik nog door een dame op dezelfde manier benaderd. Uiteindelijk kwam ik bij de receptie en moest ik iemand bellen om mij mijn kamer te wijzen. Vond ik geen warm welkom. Ook jammer dat het restaurant op zondag en maandag? Niet open is.
