Guest Reviews
- Gail (10/5): - Everything was exceptional. Nothing
- AviDan (10/5): Peaceful, comfortable and relaxing - Everything - the house was spacious, beautifully furnished and comfortable. lovely private courtyard.
Best towels in all our travels, thick and large.
Absolutely loved our stay there and the locals are very friendly. It was really difficult to find the address as Roan Head was a maze of streets all with the same name. Can we suggest the address given should be that of the host which is a recognised address,
- GingerDee (9/5): Quirky Cottage - Quirky cottage, everything I needed was there. Lovely wee treat for me and dogs from owners. Cosy comfortable place. Outdoor space was great and very quiet despite being near a working dock. Plenty food shops nearby for groceries. Vehicle access was limited, although knew that prior to booking. Weather was good so didn't matter as much as it would have had it been really wet. Very confusing to find!
- MARK (10/5): Great place to stay - Location Bed uncomfortable

- Angie (9/5): nice weekend away - It was a lovely cottage with everything that you need, nice and quiet
- Stoddart (7/5): Great cottage, not good for parking. - The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. It was tastefully decorated . The enclosed garden with garden furniture was great for our dog as well as my husband and I to sit in the sunshine. There is no parking at the property. You drive up a very narrow lane unload and then have to reverse and drive down to the Main Street to park. Not what had been explained to us when I advised owner both my husband d and I have difficulties walking far. Also a better description of where the cottage is located as there are 2 areas for Roanheads. I had to ask 3 different locals to find the cottage.
- Margaret (7/5): Ideal place to stay , good value for money . - Cosy cottage , well equipped and comfortable.
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Gail (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay at Coopers Cottage, the Cottage itself was exceptional and had everything needed and extras provided by the lovely hosts, who were on hand to answer any questions we had and did so quickly. Our dog Mabel had a great time and loved the treats kindly left by the hosts. Thank you so much again. we will definitely be back to this beautiful cottage.
- Iain (10/5): Exceptional - Great wee cottage, perfect for a couple and a dog or two. Our dog loved staying here. Good proximity to outstanding beaches, e.g. Cruden Bay, and the Brew Toon tap room. The hosts went out of their way to be accommodating. Outstanding value for money too.
- Ian (10/5): Great value accommodation in Peterhead - The property is a unique cottage that is just the right size for a couple of people. The cottage is warm and welcoming, very clean and tidy. The bed is very comfortable and plenty of storage space in the bedroom. Living diner is cosy with log burner, tv, sofa, dining table and chairs, a sideboard that has various games. The hosts leave a little welcome book that has good local info in it. Bathroom has bath with good overhead shower - nice and powerful. The kitchen has a gas hob with electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer and washing machine. Kitchen is well equipped. The cottage has good central heating and lots of things have been thought of. Outside is a seating area too. Its well placed on the harbour road just 5 mins walk into the town. Bakery and shop just a few mins walkaway and a chipper just 5 mins walk. Parking is easy on the road and its quiet and safe to leave the vehicle there - no issues. Highly recommend Coopers Cottage. I stay for work and have been at least twice now and I'm back there in the Autumn - so speaks for itself really. There is nothing not to like about this cottage.
- Ljw (8/5): Very good -
- Zee (10/5): Best little cottage in Peterhead 5 🌟 - Absolutely everything! Honestly couldn't fault a thing the cottage is lovely and very cosy, especially since we encountered storm Bert whilst we were there. There was milk and a couple of little wines in the fridge to welcome us and anything you could need for your stay had been thought about. We visit our grandchildren 3-4 times a year and Coopers cottage (no relation btw) will be our go to place to stay. 5 🌟 N/A
- Andrew (10/5): Excellent value and perfect little cottage - The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. Warm and cosy. Immaculately clean and tidy. Has a lovely history in which my partners family were actually a part of (coopers/fisherwife). There was information on the local area and ideas of what to do during our stay. Communication was great from the owners too. There was nothing that we didn't like about the cottage.
- Mcgregor (10/5): Exceptional - . The owners have gone the extra mile in making the property very comfortable and cosy, and they responded very quickly when I needed to ask a question. The cottage was spotlessly clean and contained everything and more that you needed for a good holiday. It was a pleasure to come back to after a day of exploring the coastline. N/A
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional -
- Muriel (9/5): Lovely cottage, close to harbour and town centre. - Thoughtfully furnished, little quirky touches. Very comfortable with everything you could need. Nice to get milk in the fridge and supplies of tea and coffee, etc. Appreciated instructions on parking from owners. We would have appreciated receiving code for key box earlier, we were panicking when we were ready to start our journey and still hadn't received code details as we don't have email on our mobile phones.. Email came through just as we were loading last of luggage into car.
- Giulia (10/5): Exceptional - The location and the unique opportunity to sleep in such a cosy cottage.
The bathtub was glorious for when we were back from long walks! The bed could have been sturdier, but that is said by taking into account my back issues.
- Graham (8/5): Very good - Nice wee cosy cottage. With everything provided for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Actually Trying to find the property. It sits on a wee back lane that you can only really walk to. The sat nav actually takes you to a row of houses in a totally different part of the street. Cause the street is kinda split into 2 roads.
- Michelle (10/5): Entrancing secluded property that captures atmosphere of historic area in busy fishing port - Outstanding & tasteful renovation of unique property.very well equipped,.great secluded outside areas.
Easy access to impressive active fishing harbour, old areas of town & architecture Nothing

- Duncan (9/5): Superb - Excellent conditions - warm inviting property with thoughtful effects left by owner. Property was clean, comfortable and thoroughly welcoming. Nothing.
- Christina (9/5): My sister and I had a great stay in Coopers Cottage. Everything was perfect. It was so hard to leave, next time we’ll co - It’s location, tucked away in amongst other cottages by the harbour. The cottage was so welcoming and cosy. It was so clean and the kitchen was so well kitted out. We liked the extra touches e.g. milk in the fridge, wine, coffee and tea bags. It was clear that the hosts had gone to great lengths to create a place where guests could instantly feel at home and relax in. The garden was also amazing and such a sun trap, even in October!
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - It was perfect excellent value for money The lock box
- Adrian (10/5): A wonderful little gem. - A wonderful little Gem , cosy and clean with all the trimmings
- Anonymous (10/5): A hidden gem in Peterhead! - Perfect location in a lovely historic part of Peterhead with all the amenities required. Very comfortable and quiet and well appointed.
- Jovimich (10/5): Coopers Cottage... Fantastic. - Fantastic cottage, the attention to detail was brilliant.
The fully enclosed garden was a massive plus for us with the dog, knowing we could let him out without him escaping lol...this is something we normally struggle to find when away with the dog.
Loved all the little touches on arrival, the card was a nice welcome and the wine was enjoyed that evening so thank you.
Great quality duvet and pillows and even down to good quality cutlery & plates etc ... Makes all the difference. Had everything anyone could need for a comfortable stay away, hairdryer, iron etc.
The garden is a sun trap and we made the most of it while the weather was so hot!
Throughly enjoyed our stay, one of the best cottages we have stayed in. Nothing to dislike!
- Nilsson (9/5): Wonderful stay!!! - It was homely and cute. There was tea and coffee in the kitchen and and half pint of milk in the fridge. A personal card welcoming us to the house - such a nice surprise!!
- Marion (9/5): Great wee place. Cosy and attractive. - Description given was accurate. Loved the little extra touches (emergency supplies etc) that created welcoming atmosphere. All good for us.
