• Isabelle (9/5): Très bon séjour. - Très confortable, excellent lit, cuisine parfaitement équipée, très proche de la porte de Crocodile Bridge. Le fait de prendre et de rendre les clés à une entreprise à 7 minutes (15 min aller retour) du logement. J’avais choisi ce logement justement pour être rapidement au Kruger.
• Musa (9/5): A great weekend with friends and very peaceful. - The property was clean and we loved that we had the whole cottage and swimming to ourselves. We enjoyed ourselves and went to nearby restaurants for dinner and breakfast. Love that the area has a spar close. I didn’t like that the pubs played only one genre of music, a bit of inclusion with other music genres would have made restaurant/pub a 10/10.
• Zeena (10/5): We cannot wait to go back! - We had an absolutely incredible time staying at Marloth Cottage. The cottage is spacious, clean and has all the amenities that you need. Situated at the entrance of Marloth Park, you don’t have to drive too far to get onto the main road that takes you to the Kruger National Park. Some highlights of staying at the cottage definitely has to be having been visited by warthog and impala every day, and getting to spot some giraffe not too far off. We also got to see some zebra, in the park, on an evening drive. The pictures advertised are an understatement - the cottage is stunning and worth every cent! Our hosts were amazing and always on the ball. We cannot wait to go back!

They also have a back up power system which was amazing for the short time we had a power trip The monkeys were very determined to get into the house, thankfully none of the windows were open (as a foresight of the owners) so had no issues with them inside

• Corrie (10/5): Our Marloth Cottage experience - Marloth Cottage is a beautiful place for a break away from the city. Animals like Impala, wildebeast, warthogs, kudu, etc come by for a short visit everyday hoping to be fed pellets. The swimming pool is a big bonus when the thermometer hits 36°C. The cottage is clean and as beautiful as the pictures. The owner, Antonet, is very friendly and helpful. There really was not one thing not to like.

• Manisha (9/5): Superb - The bed was really comfortable, the pool was a blessing in the heat wave. Wasn't too far a drive to the Kruger gate. The house was like a furness during loadshedding, the aircon in the main bedroom wasn't working efficiently, probably needing to be regassed. The shower could not balance properly, either too hot or too cold( luckily it was a heatwave, so didn't mind the cold shower)

Cleaning could be better particularly the outside areas (pool and patio). Also I found it strange that I had to pay outside of booking.com. One bed was also broken and the drain was also blocked in one of the bathrooms.

Very spacious, awesome pool, braai and entertainment area. No TV and that you had to pick up and drop off the keys at the center. Not ideal on the day you leave- especially if you want to leave early to go to the park.

The kitchen has everything you need. Very peaceful lots of animals came to visit. Definately recommendable. We went on gme drive into KNP and they fetched us at the house. Love everything.

Perfect for Kruger Park adventures. The house has everything a small family would need for a perfect stay in the bush. We loved our short holiday at this cottage and will certainly use it again.

She went out of her way to accommodate a special request that we had. She also enquired about our stay while we were there. The outdoor braai area, the stoep and the swimming pool adds to the total experience of relaxation.

There was back up lights and torches during loadshedding. Including a gas stove. We had a resident bush buck and rock monitor in the garden 👍 Nothing to really complain about. The shower was a bit tricky. And we had a visiting bat 🫣

• Beverley (7/5): Good - Location was excellent to the Kruger. The house had everything we needed. Very lovely owner. The hot water was a problem. Also we had a problem with the power it kept tripping. The seating in the lounge could have been more comfortable.

• Ashleigh (8/5): Very good - Lovely unit, beautiful modern finishes and furniture. Kitchen was well kitted out. Big pool and braai area. Animals come right up to the patio to say hello. Great water pressure (gas geyser so there was hot water with load shedding). House has damp which needs to be attended to. The smell is not pleasant but was fine after opening all doors and windows. Close to the road/entrance, so a bit noisy with the cars. No mosquito nets! A small inverter is recommended, it would have completely changed our stay, as we would have been able to use the fans, fridge, and lights. We unfortunately had an uncomfortable night with the heat, we mostly were without power and no mosquitos nets. The pool was a bit dirty but not terrible.
• Wayne (9/5): A wonderful Easter Weekend stay! - The King size bed and pillows were amazing! The house is so beautifully designed with top notch decor and beautiful glassware. The pool is the best and huge! We loved the pool and enjoyed a lot of time using it in the heat. Good communication and helpfulness from the wonderful host Antonet. We'll definitely be back! Thanks so much, we had the best time! The animals are so incredible! A little close to the road. Would have loved more comfortable furniture to sit on outside by the braai. A couple of outdoor couches on the stoep to relax on would be awesome. Chairs to sit on were a little too upright. Would also appreciate a cloth and scrubbing sponge in the kitchen, while there is a dishwasher, they don't always clean pots etc well enough. A cloth to wipe the kitchen or spills up etc. I did bring my own so not an issue really.
