- Michael (10/5): - The apartment was very spacious and an excellent place to relax and cook your own food. The air conditioning worked really well, and this is one of the few places in el salvador with strong hot water if you need it. My kids loved exploring the property - lots of coconuts and mangos. We also caught some fish off the dock.
For activities, We did a 1.5 hours kayak through the mangroves, which we enjoyed, but it is expensive for what you get ($30 for a double, $17 for a single). Our absolute favorite was the monkey sanctuary walk - for us it was excellent value for the money ($35 for our family of 5). The monkeys were fun (we fed them) and there is a ton of other wildlife (all sorts of birds, crocodiles, lizards, turtles, etc...). We did it twice! The area is very big. It is about a 10 minute walk from the accommodation to the pool/restaurant. It is doable though.

- Marlon Alberto (9/5): Full Natural Experience!!
- Alexandra (9/5): We had a great time here: the staff were helpful and friendly and it was a great place to unwind. Since it’s down a dir - The location was unique and it was fun to see the wildlife It was hard to find - the address doesn’t populate in any of the map apps
- Sylvie (9/5): -
- Francisco (8/5): - Había estado en ocasiones anteriores y ha desmejorado un poco el mantenimiento y las facilidades
- Mirthe (10/5): Bijzonder verblijf in deltagebied - Bijzondere plek.
- Medardo (8/5): - There are a lot of activities you can perform and the staff is very polite There are too many mosquitoes near by the cabin, making it imposible to enjoy being outside.

- Derek (9/5): Pleasant stay in a unique, natural setting with friendly staf, a quiet environment, and activities. - The location was very peaceful with nice scenery and some good activities to do in the immediate area. We enjoyed the swimming pool are and sitting area. The restaurant on location met our expectations and our treehouse was comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. No real complaints. The beds and accommodation was fairly basic, but that was expected.
- Sebastiaan (9/5): Beautiful place - Beautiful place next to a river and the mangrove bushes. The lady at the service desk speaks very good English. That’s was very helpful. The excursion to the monkeys was very fun and the boat tour was beautiful! We had a cockroach in our room
- Gustavo (10/5): Exceptional - Nature on steroids Nothing
- Paulina (9/5): It was great but the dirt road to there could be better. - Staff was really nice, they made are stay quite unique and pleasant. My daughter left behind her stuffed animal and they searched for it and arranged to have it sent back to us. The road to the property is a dirt road. It can definitely be improved if a real road for normal cars is made.
The food variety kept on decreasing as the days passed by as the food inventory is kept limitedly and new groceries are only brought in every 3 days.
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Israel (10/5): Happy - 👍🏻 👍🏻
- Patrick (9/5): Had a wonderful time here - Very secluded and beautiful. Enjoyed or stay there .
- Ben (7/5): Beautiful spot to see El Salvador’s flora and fauna (just come fully stocked!) - Beautiful location (isolated but perfect for bird watching & monkey spotting). Apartments came with their own bbq and were clean and air conditioned. Pool was gorgeous for relaxing. Slightly unequipped (staff didn’t tell us that there was no drinking water in the apartments and the only bottles sold were $2 for a small 300ml one which meant we had to drive an hour back to the nearest shop to stock up). There was also no chopping board for the kitchen and when we asked for one they said no.

- Steve (10/5): I loved it - Personally I found this property to be excellent.
Firstly the road to it. I didn't really know what to expect but I didn't find any real issue with it. Would I drive a Ferrari down it, maybe not or if I did I'd maybe do it at 10 kmph, in my Kia Picanto I was able to mostly stick to the speed limit of 20 kmph.
I found every member of staff to be delightful, friendly and helpful.
I found the accommodation to be lovely about a 2 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the reception, restaurant, pool etc
I found the meals and drinks to be lovely and a nice choice. They will even deliver to your accommodation if you chose.
The pool I had completely to myself apart from the birds and passing Iguanas.
The tour to the monkey sanctuary, to start with I was a little disappointed that I was told I needed to go with a guide. However if I hadn't I would more than likely have got lost or maybe attacked by quite a large croc that was pointed out to me by my lovely guide.
The monkeys were obviously an absolute delight but so was the interaction between them and my guide. He must do that so often but he seemed to be enjoying their company as much as I did. They are definitely living wild but very friendly.
I can't really think of anything else, all in all I thought it was excellent and a beautiful experience. Thank you What could have been better? I'm sure if I sat and thought for a while I could think of somethings but I can't really see why I would do that, it was really good in my opinion, if its not broke why try to fix it.
- Sarah (9/5): An amazing stay right in the heart of a biosphere - Lovely location . We had a little split level apartment / house set in a beautiful jungle setting .
Well equipped and with private outside space It was a little difficult to reach . Google maps wouldn’t give us a route . Perhaps when you book you could get a little map .
The fact it was difficult to get to did add to its amazing location however
- Doug (10/5): Beautiful facility, bit hard to find - Quiet and secluded location. Friendly and helpful staff. It is hard to find the access road to get there from the highway. It's also pretty rough roads to reach the site.
- Guillermo (10/5): Loved It! - Facilities Access is a little complicated but totally worth it!
- Alberto (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good - Natural setting.
- Guzmán (7/5): Good -
- Angelita (8/5): Very good - Beautiful garden and swimming pool. Nice restaurant and brilliant staff.
We did the sunset boat tour and the monkey tour and they were excellent The mosquitos 😆
- Jose (8/5): very satisfied with the stay - very peaceful and comfy place no staff service at night
- William (9/5): this was my second time, my family like the contact with nature - privacy, food, environment road
- Catherine (9/5): Superb - It was a really unique experience from the rest of El Salvador. A lot of nature and interesting activities. People are friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurant is really nice. We saw the monkeys and took an amazing boat trip to the island pajarito. The road to the place was not well maintained. We had a small car, but we still managed it.
- William (9/5): Superb - Staff and laid back location
- Chia (9/5): Superb -
- Alistair (10/5): Fantastic getaway in the mangroves - Fantastic location right in the heart of the mangroves. Feels very secluded and peaceful.
They offer boat tours through the waterways to see the wildlife and nature, as well as some guided walks. The guides weren't bird experts, but they could point out the different species and were able to get you nice and close.
Access is through a series of well-guarded sugar cane fields and cocoa plantations before you end up in natural landscapes.
The accommodation is a small collection of lovely raised cabanas in a forested area.
The food is great (restaurant closes at 6) and the staff are very friendly. Pretty limited English but there are a few staff members who speak it well.
Highly recommended! Would be very hard to find at night.
- Pauline (9/5): Superb -
- Christoph (6/5): A bit disappointing - - super friendly staff
- very clean
- very good restaurant
- quiet
- they are caring for the environment - everything closes super early and opens late: no breakfast before 8am, last order for dinner at 4:30!!
- the bar wasn't open and it seemed it hadn't opened in a while. On their website they say you could watch a game there and everything but there's nothing.
- the pool area is not great. no comfy chairs, not much space for lying directly at the pool. All 3 basins are basically the same and have very warm water.
- the accomodation is far away from the pool area and the restaurant (10 min(!) walk)
- so after all this place is way too expensive
- Matthew (7/5): Good -
- Yesenia (8/5): It was very beautiful nice workers and clean. - the views the road to get there
