• Alice (7/5): - Hôtel très joli avec une super vue sur le fort de la piscine et des chambres confortables. Suite a un retard de train, nous sommes arrivées à 2h du matin et avons été accueillies de manières parfaite. Le personnel est vraiment très gentil. Notre train partant en fin d'après-midi, nous avons demandé à l'hôtel s'il pouvait nous laisser la chambre quelques heures de plus. Ils ont dit oui mais pour 3000 roupies supplémentaires, ce qui est à peu près équivalent au prix que l'on a chacune payé pour 1 nuit, ce que nous avons trouvé excessif. Cependant ils ont accepté de garder nos sacs et d'attendre à la piscine. De plus, la partie restauration a été un peu laborieuse à plusieurs reprise donc ne vous attendez pas à un petit déjeuner / repas incroyable (peut-être dû à la hors saison)

• Nadia (10/5): - La ubicación es perfecta a unos 10 minutillos andando de los Havelis principales donde empezamos la ruta por Jaisalmer. Los trabajadores encantadores!! Nos trataron de maravilla dándonos un upgrade a una habitación con vistas al fuerte, reservándonos la mesa que nos gustaba cada noche sin pedirlo. Cenar (todo muy rico) y bañarse en la piscina con las vistas impresionantes del fuerte es todo un lujo. Desayunar en la cafetería de abajo rodeada de pajaritos del amor cantando ,volando y dándose picos sin parar es la mejor manera de empezar la mañana. Hotel espectacular que lo tiene todo pensado para que no te quieras marchar nunca!! No poder quedarnos más días

• Theo (9/5): Great Stay with One Area to Elevate - We had a really nice stay at Rupal Residency. The service was excellent, and the hotel itself was comfortable and genuinely luxurious. Everything about the stay was great, except for the food. We tried the breakfast buffet, dinner at the hotel, and the café downstairs, and unfortunately, all of them left us with the same underwhelming feeling. If the food matched the quality of the service and the hotel itself, this place would be truly exceptional.

• Pascale (6/5): Pourrait être très bien si le personnel était formé - La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Les repas au restaurant, sur le rooftop, sont excellents. Rien à redire de ce côté. Très bien situé avec une très belle vue sur le fort La salle du petit déjeuner est franchement pas très propre. Les tables sont nettoyées sucintement avec un chiffon. Elles sont donc souvent collantes. Il faudrait apprendre au personnel à nettoyer avec de l'eau aussi. Mais ce qui m a vraiment déplu , c'est de voir un employé ramasser les céréales (type kellogs) qui étaient tombées sur le support et les remettre dans le récipient par dessus les autres, le tout à mains nues. Cela n est pas acceptable.

• Christian (9/5): Exceptional stay with a perfect view - Our first hotel during our trip to India, and what a beautiful experience! The view over the Fort is absolutely stunning. The location is ideal — only a 5‑minute walk from the Fort, yet much quieter than staying right in the busy centre. Our room was spacious enough for three people, with very comfortable and well-maintained bedding. The welcome was more than perfect: the receptionist was charming, helpful and always available to answer our many questions. The F&B team was equally attentive and caring. The open kitchen offers a wide selection of Indian and international dishes. Excellent meals and super complete breakfasts — the banana pancakes were outstanding. A truly TOP experience! -

They had a kids play room which was a boon for us since we travelled with our little one.They used to host singing show on the terrace restaurant which can be improved since they don't sing continuously .. they just sing 2-3 songs in 1 hr which can get boring as you expect live singing at a stretch when you see people there for it.All in all it was a good stay and if whenever we visit jaisalmer again we know where to go.

• Deepesh Kaushish (8/5): Overall it was a good stay. However, it was not worth the money paid. - Location is in the city center which was quite convenient. The rooms are well equipped. In fact we had a suite with an extra living room as well as a foyer and half bath. Every thing was fitted out nicely. The bathtub drain stopper had sharp edges and caused me a wound while getting into the tub. The worst issue was with hot water supply. It never stayed at a fixed temperature even for a few seconds. Either it's very cold or suddenly it scalding hot. Horrible! One would expect this basic amenity to be working flawlessly. The technician who came to "look" at it had no idea what he was doing.

• Terry (10/5): An oasis after a cold sleepless nite in a desert camp. Beautiful hotel, amazing staff, clean and comfortable. - Absolutely Everything! This place was perfect and really lovely and clean. Top highlights for us: 1) the food in the rooftop restaurant was amazing- we ranked it as the best Indian Thali and a bit of westerner’s pasta we had eaten anywhere on our 2.5 week trip through Rajasthan! And discovered that they had recently won an award for their restaurant as well. 2) the staff were fantastic, again possibly the most attentive, friendly and thoughtful we came across. The young lady at reception (who previously had worked for Air India but we didn’t catch her name) went above and beyond for us! 3) the hotel feels like a Marriott or larger resort even though it’s a smaller boutique. It’s beautifully decorated. Rooms were large, clean and bedding was very comfortable. There are many pigeons in Jaisalmer, so the hotel is doing absolutely all they can to keep pigeons away from the pool. They are doing a good job, but if I had been swimming, it would have likely been an annoyance. I don’t really know what else they could do to stop it though since they are doing their best. There are many pigeons everywhere.

• Alex (9/5): Comfortable location to experience Jaisalmer - The location is quite good, with a beautiful view onto the fort. Everything is quite nearby. Lots to do there, including with family: spa, pool, kids play area, gym, etc. Although the staff is very friendly, we had many situations where they simply misunderstood what we needed or wanted. The breakfast did not match expectations, although it was not bad.

Very nice breakfast included and dinners were delicious with a good show of dancing and singing. Room was comfortable, clean. The blinds in our room didn’t open properly and couldn’t open windows in room as facing into court yard.

We had a fabulous view of the fort from the delightful window divan. The bed and pillows were excellent. Dining at the rooftop restaurant with its outstanding views, was a pleasure. The food was delicious and every waitperson —along with all hotel staff—was helpful and courteous. Staff arranged an outing to the Thar desert as well as our return to the airport. Ein Highlight waren die Wellensittiche, die man vom eigenen Balkon beobachten konnte. Der Pool war im Gegensatz zu den meisten anderen Erfahrungen die wir gesammelt haben sehr,sehr sauber und erfrischend bei den heißen Temperaturen. Ein weiteres Highlight war das wirklich sehr üppige und frische Frühstücksbuffet. Besonders die frischen Waffeln haben es uns angetan!

• Marie-Raphaële (10/5): Excellente adresse - Excellent accueil par la réceptionniste, Puja, qui nous a donné toutes les précisions sur le fonctionnement de l’hôtel et nous a fait visiter notre chambre. Notre chambre était vaste et belle. La salle de bains était spacieuse et fonctionnelle. L’après midi, nous avons profité de la piscine sur le toit de l’hôtel en sirotant des rafraîchissements. Le soir, nous avons diné au restaurant de l’hôtel qui sert une cuisine délicieuse à un prix très raisonnable. Des musiciens et danseuse nous ont offert un joli spectacle, et nous avions une vue magnifique sur le fort illuminé de Jaisalmer. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon. Le service est rapide et efficace. Le personnel de l’hôtel se met en quatre pour que notre séjour soit parfait. L’hôtel est très bien situé. Nous recommandons Rupal Residency, c’était parfait! Rien

• Maria Angelica (9/5): Una coccola nella città gialla - Hotel molto bello e staff super gentile, ci hanno fatto addirittura scegliere la camera e abbiamo scelto una con vista forte, la terrazza è splendida e la piscina con vista una vera coccola per riprendersi dal caldo, Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo per il confort offerto.

• salvador (4/5): Disappointing hotel. Clearly overranked. - The best thing of the hotel was the attittude of the personnel (reception, restaurant, bellman). Size of the room is also very correct. The pictures shown in booking have a lot of photoshop. This is a hotel not well maintained with a lot of room for improvement in terms of cleaningness. Very disappointing. It certainly is not a 4star hotel as indicated in booking (closer to a 2 star). Views from the room also disappointing.

• Amelia (9/5): Fantastic spacious rooms - Very clean hotel with excellent spacious rooms, comfortable beds and friendly hotel staff. The roof terrace has a fantastic view of the fort. ‘City view’ room view was disappointing (we kept the blind closed!). Sometimes drinks charges at the bar were incorrect which seemed to take a long time to be sorted out when challenged.

• Tommaso (8/5): Very good - The location and the facility are outstanding, with a pristinely kept Jaisalmer sandstone building, rooftop pool with view on Jaisalmer fort to refresh from the sandy heat and with a beautiful inner courtyard for breakfast with small parrots flying around their refined nest in a beautiful atmosphere I found the service somehow lacking, if scratched below the surface. I think the lack of a good English on key elements of the staff prevented clear understanding and resolution of simple but pressing problems for the customer. Also would recommend more proactive service approach, beside hotel rules that might not be known to the customer (like room cleaning etc)

The property is quite new in terms of construction and hence everything was well maintained. In terms of meals, the rooftop restaurant was very good since it had a variety of cuisine choices + bar and attentive staff. We had breakfast (part of our booking package) which was a variety and quite satisfying. After checking the local restaurants and a bad experience (very highly inaccurate tourist review + overpriced local meal) we resorted to the rooftop restaurant at the hotel for dinner on both days which was miles apart in terms of food quality and also way better ambience with the fort view in sight (super plus point). they also have a complimentary high tea (Indian chair + biscuits) which was pleasant to have on the terrace with a view of the Jaisalmer fort and the sunset. Rooms are decent in size (not too large but sufficient) and the bathroom was nice. Great hot water in the shower 24x7 (we visited mid January when the temperature was 8 degrees Celsius). Special mention of the staff at the reception/ check-in counter where they were helpful in being candid with their suggestions and advice on planning our day in Jaisalmer and also arranging for a taxi service for a drop to the airport. Much appreciated! The entrance to the hotel buildin could be better constructed/ thought through - you need to climb about 7-8 steps to get to the landing which will take you to a lift and then to the lobby of the hotel. Didn't see a ramp for a wheelchair and hence people having difficulty in climbing stairs could face a problem.
