You need a car to get here, but I assume most people travelling in this part of Romania have hired a car. It’s in a nice and quiet rural village. Facilities are great! • D (9/5): A clean, well run and excellently located guesthouse with kitchen, great owners and a lovely dog. - I really enjoyed my stay at Mango guesthouse and it was ideal for my few days in Bran. The price was very good for the location and what you get. The location is near to Bran town and the castle, and not far from a good supermarket. You would need a car. It was easy to find for me even in the dark, on the corner just where the map said it would be and i had no problems with parking spaces. The small road to it is a little uneven and bumpy but no problem for any car to handle. My room was warm and cosy, with a big comfortable bed, a good sized bathroom with hot water anytime and i was very content there and slept well each night. There is a good kitchen upstairs with a cooker, hot water for coffee or tea and plenty of fridge space and a nice big dining room where you can sit and enjoy the amazing views up the mountain. The owners were really welcoming and very nice people and i absolutely adored the little doggy - Mango. She is a wonderful feature of the guesthouse, always waiting to welcome you as you come and go with her lovely big eyes and wagging tail. I felt sorry to say goodbye to her! I would stay again without a doubt. People have spoken on reviews about showers leaking, admittedly there was no shower screen or curtain so water did go everywhere on the floor but it was not really a big problem for me, i just wiped my feet before entering the bedroom each time, but perhaps a simple curtain would solve that issue.

• Corina (9/5): Superb - It was clean, cosy, the staff is wonderfull. The only disadvantage is that it has just 3 or 4 parking spots, depending on the dimentions of the cars.

• Polina (9/5): A very pleasant experience - Everything was clean, the common area with the kitchen is well equipped, nice tables in front of the house to drink your coffee in the morning. Would definitely recommend it. There’s no sign or anything, so a bit hard to find. The road leading up to the house is a dirt road, so be ready to get dusty.

They allowed us to check in early upon availability and check out a little late, which we really appreciated given our long road trip. The suite was really comfy. • Ovidiu (7/5): Good value for the money, very close to prime but expensive location: Bran (or Dracula's) castle! - Space in the apartment (2 bedrooms), shared living room (kitchen and dining room). The "shower" needs urgent fix and upgrade. Also the access in the ~100m country road could be a bit difficult for lower cars or following rains.

The owners have two friendly and sweet dogs who made our stay even more fun. We loved it! Just have in mind that there is a 1-2 min dirt road to the house but it is in a good condition so any can can reach the house.

No microwave available to warm up a ready meal. The shower was missing the long bit so could be difficult to shower properly. Would benefit a wardrobe,some hangers,no where to hang towels in the bathroom. The communal kitchen needs more attention regarding cleanliness. Per total needs small improvements!

• Garabul (9/5): Superb - the location is great, huge bed, and clean, nice people there, excellent for a longer vacation at this price and view. Mango in the name of the star dog there which we loved. you should call the owner for the location, it is not where the GPS indicates. the doors are thin and you can hear things through them. there was only liquid soap but no shower gel or shampoo.
