• torkout (10/5): BEST EXPERIENCE BDAY GIRL <3 THAT NEW YORKER LIFESTYLE - i had an amazing stay in Chelsea for three days honestly, I loved everything about this place! The room was super clean and very comfortable. I especially loved the view from my room, it made the whole experience even more special. The rooftop and the kitchen were also great such a nice bonus! The bathrooms were always clean every time I came back, which I really appreciated. What I loved the most is the vibe of the place it truly has that authentic American/New York style. If you really want to live the full New York experience, staying in Chelsea is definitely the best choice. It’s such a beautiful neighborhood. The communication was also perfect. The hosts were always available and very responsive, whether on Booking or WhatsApp. They were kind, helpful, and very well organized. I also appreciated that I could leave my luggage and go out before my departure that was super convenient. Honestly, I enjoyed this stay even more than my time in Times Square. I’m extremely happy and satisfied. Highly recommended <3 I will definitely come back! Thank you so much OUTSITE CHELSEA You made my Dream True ! Nothing !

• Sara (7/5): - Perfect location. Room was ok clean. Shared bathrooms are not cleaned often enough. Toilet paper was not refilled. You could hear all the noises from the corridor people coming in and out. The doors made a super loud sound whenever someone closed them. Bring good earplugs.
• Gavin (8/5): Great location and nice bright clean space - Great communal space / kitchen and work area and laundry. Location is brilliant. Its very DIY - no reception physically, just codes and a whassap number if having issues getting in (they were very quick to reply). Room was never cleaned during my 5 night stay - so its a bit like staying in your own apartment. Steep stairs to my room - so dont overpack! But clean and would def stay again. Toilet said not to flush paper so had a bin next door - which wasnt changed throughout the trip. Would have been nice to have an empty at some point.

• George (9/5): Very satisfied and I would stay there again! - What a pleasant place to stay! The room was very clean and comfy. The 22nd St neighborhood in Chelsea from 8th/9th was super quiet and nice. I was a bit surprised after I booked that some rooms may need to use a community toilet/shower. Fortunately mine had it's own bathroom and a terrific walk in shower. Just make sure that's obvious in the booking description.
• Breanna (9/5): We were very comfortable here. It was a wonderful location at a good value! - The location of this space is on a very cute, quieter street for still being within the mix of the city. It is close to subway stops, Penn station and was ideal for us in navigating the city for the first time. The shared spaces (bathrooms, kitchen, workspace, living room, etc.) were all very clean and well kept. We found the bed to be very comfortable and it was nice the room had a mini split for ac and heating. Access to kitchen space was great for enjoying breakfast in. We found the signs in the shared bathrooms about not flushing toilet paper a bit odd for the U.S.

• Stefanie (10/5): ***tolles Wohngebäude in Chelsea*** - Ein tolles Wohngebäude in Chelsea. Zum Empire Statue nur 20 Minuten zu Fuss. Ruhige Gegend. Metro gleich ums Eck. Self Check in hat reibungslos geklappt. Anweisungen mit Code erfolgen vor Abreise. Reibungslose Kommunikation falls Fragen vorhanden. Die Betten waren sehr gemütlich und auch die Zimmergröße für NY Verhältnisse angenehm. Die Gemeinschaftsbäder waren sehr sauber. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist sehr groß und wirklich alles vorhanden was benötigt wird. Sogar Waschmaschine bis hin zum Bügeleisen findet man vor Ort. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Komfortabel, sauber und super Lage! Ich kann das Outside wärmstens empfehlen. Das nächste Mal wenn ich in NYC bin definitiv wieder das Outside.

Pero principalmente el problema era el baño. Era un baño completo y un aseo a compartir en cada planta, hasta ahí todo bien. Estaban bien equipados y parecían suficiente. No lo limpiaron desde que llegamos un jueves por la noche hasta el domingo que nos fuimos. Se acabó el papel, la papelera ya estaba rebosando basura y la misma suciedad del primer día ahí seguía.

Rooms are cozy and common areas such as the kitchen and the living room are well kept. The rooms could be cleaner. The floor needs to be vacuumed better in between stays and bedsheets and towels have stains.

Definitivamente volveré Todo estuvo muy bien, no tuvimos ningun problema con el alojamiento. Un excelente lugar para hospedarte

• Jacqueline (4/5): Disappointing - the location was good the room was very small for 2 adults the bed was not a double bed I am only 5 ft 2 inches and my feet were hanging on the edge the mattress was very uncomfortable aswell the size of the room should be for one person only I didn't realise it was a shared bathroom that was my mistake I would not have booked if I had seen this. there was a tiny wardrobe to hang our stuff as we were staying for a week no where to put our cases had to sit them on top of the small wardrobe. it said the was a kettle in the room there was not only 2 small bath towels for the week and one small hand towel there was a gap all around the bedroom door so the light shone through also not very sound proof heard everyone coming and going. also nowhere to store luggage on the day of check out I was advised I could leave it in the sitting area but at my own risk so didn't feel comfortable leaving our cases from 11 am check out till 6 pm when we had a taxi booked for the airport so we had to arrange an alternative storage for them this room was not value for money not even for the location.

The facilities in the kitchen were exactly what we required. Our bedroom was a little small, however we only spent time sleeping in there and used the downstairs living space on occasions. The bathroom was kept clean, and using a shared bathroom was not an issue. The bathroom was always available. The other occupants in the location were from other parts of the world and everybody was very pleasant and friendly. The bedroom could have been a bit larger.

• Mariah (8/5): Great Location, Good Stay - The location was fantastic! We walked everywhere and the whole area was such a treat. Walking "home" felt like such a beautiful journey every time. The information on the side of the building was great; I love New York historical buildings and having a plaque was some info was a great touch. I feel like I got what I paid for in terms of a nice place to stay with a fun "New York" vibe. The room was smaller than I expected but I'm okay with that given what I paid. It was plenty of room to sleep in; we were out and about most of the time anyway. Having to schedule my mornings around the shared bathroom wasn't fun and I don't think I knew the bathroom was going to be shared but it all turned out okay.
• Norman (1/5): Disappointed, and sleep deprived. - Outsite Chelsea is in a good location, it’s a nice building and it’s generally well fitted-out; however… I arrived for my 3-night stay to find the en-suite shower dripping noisily, non-stop, with no way to turn it off. The property manager (Kassandra) could barely have cared less; I reported it immediately, but after 3 nights of little sleep, and no sign of a plumber appearing, all the manager did was apologise for “the inconvenience”. This is a badly run establishment where guests’ issues are disregarded.
• Richard (7/5): Nice townhouse vibe at a good location with sum compromises. - It was close to everything, Hudson and Empire State Building with in walking distance, good connection to Brooklyn and Uptown. The shared bathroom as expected was pretty bad. It depends on the people and staff cleans once a week. Staff was very responsive when we complained about the cleanliness of the place. We also had some bugs coming in when we opened the window at night so be aware.

• Mitchell (8/5): Perfect for the price. Exactly what you need and nothing more - Location was great, close to the train and some food places. Contacting the community manager was easy and I got a super quick response. The room gave privacy and was big enough for my suitcase, so it was perfect. WiFi dropped out a few times on the first floor (aka not the ground floor) as I think the router was on the floor above. My room was directly above the door and I was woken a few times from people leaving early for their flights and the door slamming.

• Igor747 (8/5): A very good option for a work visit to New York - The common spaces (kitchen, living room and the working space) are superb. Looking good, clean, spacious and perfectly equippped. The location is also excellent and the subway is very close. The room itself has everything that you need, and the property manager was friendly and responsive. The room was quite small. I didn't have much stuff, but even a single suitcase was hard to put somewhere where it wouldn't be "on the way". The shared toilets and bathrooms are less than ideal (though there are multiple and are good and clean).

The location is obviously perfect. For a place that advertises itself as a residence for digital nomads, the WiFi is truly terrible. My partner's meeting was cut off six times and I couldn't really get any work done. Also, the printer wasn't working.

The staff were friendly and the location was great! - We loved having access to the shared spaces, and also having our own space in our little room. We stayed in the double room with private bathroom and enjoyed the facilities. Location was great - very close to subway stations, bus stops, and walking distance to many attractions.
• Anne (5/5): Very good location but far too expensive for what it was. You can find an real hotel room with view at this price. - The location is excellent. We had a room at the zero/cellar level and we were not told in advance. We were supposed to throw used toilet paper in a rubbish bin and NOT in the toilet…during one week and no room cleaning! It was so humid that towels were not dried from one day to the other. It was never possible to have the curtains open as the people in the street could see us. Also there was no wine bottle opener. We told the property and were told it was like that.

Amanda was very prompt in answering emails throughout my stay. Very happy with the size and of my room. The bed was very comfortable and the a/c unit wonderful, especially during the heatwave. All the guests were friendly and respectful of each other. Unfortunately my wardrobe door fell off the hinges when I arrived (but Amanda offered to fix it the next day), and the lock on the toilet door on our floor did not operate properly my whole stay.

• Jessica (10/5): Amazing stay in Chelsea! - Loved my stay here. The property is in the heart of Chelsea, right off the metro and a short walking distance to several coffees, restaurants, etc. My room was cozy and clean. Common areas were spacious, and the kitchen was very well equipped. Wi-fi was fast and reliable. Amanda, the house manager, was super friendly, helpful, and organized fun events. I can’t wait to come back and stay here again!
