Good food store right at the road bottom. 750 meters up the steepy hill walking to reach the villa - a bit unexpected. Nearby beach quote dirty. For most of the people, this location requires renting a car.

• Merel (5/5): Goed genoeg voor een paar uur slaap voordat we naar het vliegveld vertrokken. - Ongelooflijk aardige en behulpzame host, die ons wilde helpen met alles! Variërend van koffers dragen, tot afzetten bij een restaurant onder aan de berg, tot tips geven, tot 's nachts naar het vliegveld rijden om ons af te zetten ( wel betaald, duur) Hygiëne was erg slecht. Haren in de douche, vlekken en een vieze geur op de lakens van het bed ( deze hebben we laten vervangen). De accommodatie ligt bovenop een enorm steile berg! Zeker beloopbaar, maar houd rekening met extra tijd, zeker als het overdag warm is.

• Anna (10/5): Five stars are not enough! - This place is absolutely wonderful – a beautiful view, a great atmosphere, and from the very first moment we felt completely at home. We met amazing people here, and the whole stay had a warm, family-like feeling. A huge thank you goes to Patrik, the host. He is incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. If you need to rent a car, he will advise you, arrange everything, and if necessary, even give you a ride himself. His willingness to help truly has no limits. We also enjoyed several lovely evenings together – shared meals, conversations, and relaxing time that made us feel like part of the place, not just guests. These moments are what make a stay truly special. We really appreciated that even though our check-out time was set, Patrik allowed us to stay longer since he didn’t have new guests arriving right away. Such kindness is rare nowadays. Honestly – five stars are not enough. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate for a second. It’s a place you will want to return to.

In den 3 Wochen habe ich viele tolle Menschen aus Deutschland (Marco), Russland 💚 (Ina & Alexander), Ungarn, Tschechien (Stephano & Anna) und Spanien (Aurelio) kennengelernt. Es herscht eine tolle und harmonische Atmosphäre in der Charlotte Villa. Ich habe mich dort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es gibt im Haus eine voll ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche, eine schöne Terasse mit Meerblick zum Entspannen und eine Musikbox bzw. Bluetooth Lautsprecher 🎶. Autoverleih und Flughafentransfer werden bei Bedarf sehr günstig angeboten. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, sauber und die Betten sehr bequem. Der nächste Strand ist gut zu Fuss zu erreichen und die Anse Royal, eine der besten Buchten zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln (egal, ob bei Ebbe oder Flut) ist nur ca. 2 km entfernt. Nichts, es war alles top.

• Katharina (9/5): Gute Übernachtsmöglichkeit mit netten Menschen - Lilanda und Michelle sind sehr lieb und hilfsbereit, die Charlotte Villa hat sich für uns nach ein paar Tagen wie ein zweites Zuhause angefühlt. Das Zimmer war für uns völlig in Ordnung, wir hatten ein eigenes Bad, das reicht uns aus. Die Gemeinschaftsküche ist vielleicht nicht für jeden was, aber ich fande gerade die Gespräche in der Küche total inspirierend und schön. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass es kein Hotel ist, dementsprechend auch keine „Entspannungsoase“. Die Parksituation im Hof ist teilweise ein bisschen schwierig und die Anfahrt ist sehr steil.
• Delic Enhar (10/5): Immer wieder! - Es ist eine tolle Anlage, liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und bietet eine schöne Aussicht. Das Personal (besonders Lilanda) war sehr freundlich und hat uns ständig Tipps gegeben, welche Orte wir besuchen können. Sogar unser Auto wurde vor der Abreise gereinigt. Die Zimmer werden regelmäßig gereinigt, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend. Das Einzige, was wir nicht wussten, ist, dass pro Person und Nacht eine Steuer von 25 SCR berechnet wird. Das ist nicht viel, aber es ist wichtig, es zu erwähnen. Sonst war alles super.

• Bignoux (5/5): I feel being scammed - Cleanliness, free tea, coffee and water. The description on booking.com is very different to what we got. It was mentioned beachfront while it's not at all. Beach is at 700metres and it's on a hill way back. Not even a proper beach to swim. Restaurants and café are 30mins walk from the Villa meanwhile in booking.com it is said 500m away. Totally false. They change price for transportation while they were in the wrong. It's clean, have AC but advert is a lie concerning view on beach.

• Olga (10/5): Гостеприимный дом на прекрасном острове. - Это было замечательное время, проведенное на вилле Charlotte, названой в честь дочки хозяина. Просторные комнаты, большая общая кухня на первом этаже, где есть все необходимое. Персонал очень доброжелательный, мы подружились. Мы жили 11 дней, гости приезжали и уезжали, но чаще всего нам казалось, что мы одни во всем доме. Никто никому не мешал. Даже когда дом был полный гостей, хозяин Патрик решил вопрос так, чтобы всем было комфортно. Мы были в июле, было ветрено, много волн, но бухта рядом с виллой хорошо защищена для купания. Пляж пустынный, мы там были всегда одни. Арендовали машину на день, на день рождения моего мужа, Патрик дал нам еще один день аренды в подарок. Мы объехали весь остров, купили продуктов на неделю и потом пользовались автобусом - это было очень удобно. Рядом есть магазин, фруктовый прилавок, автобусная остановка и пляж 10 минут от дома. Конечно, когда возвращаешься нужно идти в гору, но мы считали, что это очень полезно для здоровья. Наши соседи были в основном из Африки, все хорошо говорили по-английски. Большой, чистый, просторный дом. Отличный WiFi. Лиланда - прекрасный администратор, встретил нас в аэропорту (это стоило 50€) долго ждал, пока мы пройдем все досмотры. Мы купили сим карту в аэропорту это было очень удобно и поменяли немного денег тоже в аэропорту (там нормальный курс обмена). С удовольствием вернемся снова. Можно немного починить освещение и сантехнику в номере, но это не мешало нам чувствовать себя комфортно.
• Tara (8/5): Goed verblijf - Mooie locatie. Savonds vliegen de vleerhonden wn vogels langs en je kan er heerlijk op het terras zitten savonds op je balkon. Ruimte is ook erg groot en in onze kamer zat een bad. Aardige host. We moesten bellen voor het inchecken als je geen lokale sim hebt is dit lastiger. Er wordt er naast verbouwd en die mannen beginnen vroeg ( 7.30) dus kan overlast geven.

The highlight of the stay was definitely the spacious terrace with panoramic views of the ocean – I spent every morning lounging there, enjoying the sea breeze and watching the sunrise. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and the living area was cozy yet stylish, perfect for winding down after a day of beach activities. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. Location-wise, it’s good in case you have a rented car because it is on the hill and it might be tiring to climb without a cr The staff was incredibly responsive and welcoming, especially Musonda. She provided me with great local recommendations, ensured I had everything I needed for a smooth stay and made incredible coffee every evening. If you're looking for a picturesque and peaceful seaside escape, this villa is the perfect choice.

Good sea view terraces. Private parking with automatic gates. Location is good as long as you have a car. Otherwise it is a bit far away from decent beaches, shops and restaurants.

• Manoel (10/5): It was wonderful! - Lilanda the host was exceptional. He was very attentive to our needs and always available to answer our questions. The place was fantastic.
• Liping (10/5): Comfortable Stay - The hotel manager Lilanda collected us from and dropped us to the airport when we arrived and left. He offered us a car as reasonable rate so we could drive around the island during our stay. The room is comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is operational so we could prepare some food ourselves. It sounds like the hotel contact appeared in the booking.com belongs to its director. We have tried to call the number and also asked airport information desk to call the number for us without success (the day we arrived is Seychelles' public holiday). Meanwhile Lilanda have tried to sent us multiple messages via booking.com portal but the message have only bene only delivered to us 2 hours later after we fully settled down. We eventually have managed to see Lilanda at airport so he drove us back to hotel.

• Nadica (5/5): Good location and amenities, but not clean at all - The location is great as long as you have a vehicle because the road to it is uphill. It is close to the beaches and has free parking. The room is spacious and has an excellent view. We didn't meet the actual hosts, but there are employees present often, and they are very nice. Honestly, if itweren't for the cleanliness issue, I'd recommend it to all. The biggest turn off for all accommodation - very dirty. Everything was dirty in our room. The bed sheets were stained and had a bad smell. I don't think they were changed. The bathroom was entirely dirty - sinks stained and dirty, shower full of sand, and spiders and ants all around. There were many spiders on the ceiling of the room, too. We even had lizards in the room, at least 3 of them and noticed it as soon as we arrived. They make noises at night and constantly move, so it was really gross.

The villa itslef is nicely located - 5 minute-drive to the nearest supermarket (Chop Shop) and the pleasant beach (Anse Royal). Actually, we lived almost the whole week alone on the villa, so we could use it on our own. Lilanda who looks after the villa is a very nice and pleasant guy who also organized a rental car for us. Also, you may ask for a breakfast or a dinner to be cooked on the villa for you (we used this option several times, Elrik and his wife cooked tasty fish). Alternatively, you may cook yourself (the kitchen is equipped with everything needed for cooking). There is nothing I can think about.
• Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - We had a very warm welcome as after 17 hours of travelling, Patrick, the host, ensured our room was ready even ahead of time. The villa itself i's truly stunning as it oversees the ocean. It is located on top of a small hill, a few minutes aways from the beaches. It is very peaceful and well equipped: we had the opportunity to help ourselves to coffee, tea, water and kitchen amenities. Common spaces are wide and comfortable. The deluxe double room is very spacious and panoramic. Patrick is a top host, we must admit, the best we had so far as he was extremely helpful and available, he made our stay the best it could have been. We are very glad we chose Charlotte Villa; everything was perfect and would definitely recommend it.

• Laura (1/5): Bad - The common kitchen was miserable, spoiled products in the microwave left over from the previous days, the room dirty with stained bed linen and with mess in the room and bathroom. The common space used by the host for socializing with friends (meal served and loud discussions at phone and between the host's guests). The breakfast included in the reservation was not served. The overall impression was unfortunate! I would suggest to Booking the termination of the contract with this location, which presents itself pathetically. I have been booking through Booking for many years, but something like this has never happened!

Room was simple, spacious with shelves, room had access to balcony with table and chairs. Partial view onto ocean and other houses. House is fully equipped with appliances in kitchen to cook meals if one chooses to. Shower is large and spacious. Ratio of shower and bathroom is on the smaller side, there was a gaping hole in the wall behind the toilet piping and a lightbulb was flickering on and off (no pun intended). Wifi was flimsy, even after informing owner who then rebooted, it did not get better, we could not check in to our flights the next day. There were many bugs crawling about but I assume that is the location, up in the green hills. Room was next to dining area/kitchen and we could hear people outside which would have been disruptive had we needed sleep, but it was not in our case, however good to know if you are a light sleeper. We asked for twin beds but found a room with a queen plus mobile bed set up in the corner, which was not what we booked. One of us did not sleep well that night and paid for half the price but got a bed which was uncomfortable.
• Viktoria (10/5): Absolutely great time! - Very good location with beautiful ocean view. Our housekeeper was the best we ever had, he was very helpfull, nice and easy to talk. The room was like on the pictures, great king sized bed, nice shower, terrace. The kitchen was prepared with everything you might need on your vacay. We highly recommend the vila. You sould rent a car instead at your propety, dont need to go anywhere else. We had no problem at all, anything you miss or need, you just simply nicely ask for.
• Aysegul (7/5): Good - Generally good value for money, close to beach , nice staff. Had a funny smell in the common shared kitchen and generally the kitchen was not so good.

• Edin (8/5): Our host Bernard was very welcoming and helpful host. Plan to rent a car as the place is on the hill - Our host Bernard was amazing. He was very welcoming and helpful in everything we needed. The place is spacious with a nice view. Great value for money. Without a car it is a bit harder walk up the hill. Unfortunately host chef was not there during our stay as we read many reviews about how great chef he is.
• Elsa (10/5): Exceptional - We have been stayed in this place with my family for two weeks and we loved it. John the host is a very nice person makes you feel at home, very helpful with quick response to anything you need and available all the time.He organized car rental service and gave us a lot of information about the city. He is super friendly my son got attached with him and to the place after the stay. He has also wonderful life time experiences and stories. The place has beautiful views to the ocean and surrounded with green trees and very close to Surfers beach. I would suggest anyone to stay at this house.
• Ahmet (10/5): experience - John’s place is wonderful. Its close to markets, local farms where you can buy locally grown products, banks and ATM’s. His place is integrated into the forest and has a great ocean view where you can watch dolphins. Very close to the famous Surfer’s Beach. John is a wonderful host makes you feel at home and quickly becomes your friend. We picked up coconuts together and he served us coconot milk and fresh coconut. Even let us take fresh coconuts back home! Also make sure to listen his life captivating stories. Definetly recommend Charlotte Villa to anyone. 5 stars *****
• Emil (10/5): Exceptional - John, the host of this place gives you a complete picture of the place. He arranged the rent a car for me which got delivered to airport. He is super friendly that my son got attached to the place after the stay. Keep up the good work John.
