• Brian C (10/5): Extremely happy with my stay! - I booked this hotel at the last minute on my phone, and I didn't know what to expect. The rooms are not self-contained and I didn't realize that until I got there, but it really didn't matter to me because I wasn't there to hang out in the room. What I wanted was someplace convenient to experience CDE and get to Iguazu Falls. I was welcomed very kindly early in the morning after getting off a night bus and I was taken to my room and made to feel very comfortable. I was really surprised at how mellow the place was. The breakfast was fantastic, the staff is really nice, the owners are so wonderful. Santiago, the son, took me to the Falls in Argentina, and he was a real pleasure to be with all day. I was really happy with my stay and it exceeded all of my expectations. There's AC in the room, the bathroom was across the hall. My room was a triple and very big. I didn't swim in the pool but it was clear and clean. The mattress was a bit old, but I slept so well in the quiet room after being on the night bus.

The breakfast was self service and plenty full (cereals, bread, ham, cheese and fruit). Access to drinking water 24/7. Very secure. • Wil (10/5): Gewoon fantastisch - Hartelijke mensen die je een thuis gevoel geven. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, prettige ruime kamer. Ik kon mijn kleren laten wassen. Ze hebben gezorgd voor een prima gids met eigen auto, die me ook de Cataratas watervallen in Brazilië en andere mooie plaatsen heeft laten zien. Eigenlijk helemaal top. Handig om te weten, dat er naast een ijswinkel Mitai is, waar je je ook kunt melden als je aan komt, omdat er geen bord " hotel" is.

• Mitch 85 (7/5): Pour une nuit, ça passe... - L'accueil des propriétaires relève un peu l'ensemble. Chambre relativement grande (la 4) mais j'ai trouvé la literie un peu molle à mon goût et le lit plutôt petit pour un couple. La salle de bain est basique mais fonctionnelle. La chasse d'eau fait un bruit terrible en se remplissant, évitez de l'utiliser le nuit ! Située sur l'avenue, la résidence car ce n'est pas un hôtel, est assez difficile à trouver car il n'y a aucune indication du nom. Pour aider c'est juste à côté d'un marchand de glace " Mitau"... La rue du 4 Mai est indiquée à deux endroits sur Google maps !! Attention... Le petit-déjeuner est assez basique et les produits proposés n'ont pas vraiment de goût !! Il y a une ou deux places de parking pour se garer dans résidence mais avec supplément. L'avenue est plutôt passante, donc pas mal de bruit mais la nuit c'est plutôt calme.

Instalações antigas e mal conservadas, ar-condicionado barulhento, câmara frigorífica ao lado do quarto muito barulhenta, tive que trocar de quparto. Mesmo assim não consegui dormir. Reservei 3 noites mas só fiquei uma.

Um jardim agradavel e com piscinia para descansar. Café da manhã muito bom com uma salada de fruta maravilhosa. O anfitrião Felipe sempre disposto em lhe atender . Quartos amplos e grande.

• romina (4/5): - Nada En principio la mala atención un lugar el que no vale lo que te cobran y para colmo el dueño un mal Llevado llegamos súper cansados después de más de 12horas de viaje un calor terrible y el lugar no tenía luz lo cual tampoco cuentan con un generador eléctrico al ver esa situación decidimos quedarnos solo esa noche( por qué en principio la reserva era por 4 noches )y desde ahí el dueño nos empezó a tratar de mala gana nuestra salida de la residencia era a las 10 de la mañanana y el dueños nos saco a las 9.30 muy desagradablemente. El desayuno pésimo malísimo las abitaciones no cuentan con TV ni con frigobar malisimoo nunca más!!

• Susan (10/5): If I could rate this place with 11 stars, I wouldn’t hesitate - Absolute Top-Notch accommodation with the kindest of Paraguayan families one could ask to stay with. From the moment I arrived until I left, I was treated well by everyone in the family. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and the property clean and well-cared for. I hope people choose to stay here, if anything for an incredible experience with a local family. I didn’t want to leave. 😉

I was travelling from Puerto de Iguazu to CDE, they kept checking with me how i was doing and when my bus from Foz was cancelled and I got effectively stranded, they’d offered to drive to Brazil and collect me. Amazing, kind people!
