- Rita (8/5): - Wir kamen vor allem, um die Stachelschweine zu sehen. Das war ein großartiges Erlebnis. Die Tiere sind wirklich toll. Der Weg auf die Farm ist etwas holperig, aber die Anfahrt lohnt sich. Wir hatten ein Auto mit höherer Achse, aber nicht 4x4, das war ausreichend für die Zufahrtsstraße. Das cabin ist groß, eher einfach, gut ausgestattet und es gibt einen netten Vorgarten mit Blumen. Das cabin ist das einzige Haus, sonst gibt es noch Campingmöglichkeiten. Da wir die einzigen Gäste waren, war es sehr ruhig. Als wir ankamen, war niemand da. Wir sind dann einfach reingegangen und fanden den Vater des Gastgebers bei der Gartenarbeit. Ein sehr freundlicher, netter Mann. In Palapye kann man alles kaufen, was man braucht. Die Farm bietet auch ein ökologisch orientiertes Ausflugsprogramm in die Umgebung an, das wir nicht ausprobiert haben, weil wir auf der Durchreise waren - die Angebote fanden wir aber durchaus interessant.

And be sure to take part in the porcupine feeding. - If you like something a bit off the beaten path, this place is for you when staying in Palapye. James's directions and signs guiding you there were perfect. Taking part in the porcupine feeding in the evening was great. I did not realize they were such beautiful animals.
