First time when I booked I got a larger room this time a little bit smaller but that was not an issue.

• Jose (10/5): Exceptional - I did like the fact that you were getting a room for pretty cheap with all features The rooms are actually part of apartments, that is you will be booking rooms inside an apartment and each apartment has 2 rooms and 1 living space. It's great for two families you can enjoy the living space together. But when you book alone, it feels weird to share a single apartment . It's just a personal feeling , not that it's bad.

It is in Palayam, near Kairali TV Channel, AKG Centre, Kerala University, University College etc. The rooms were big and clean. Beds, Toilets etc. were also clean. The property is located in a nice locality with calm and peaceful atmosphere. Even though it has no restaurant, a good restaurant is available at 150 feet. I would recommend this hotel to my friends who have plans to visit Thiruvananthapuram. Nothing

The service was quite patchy and the rooms weren’t ready when we arruved The bathroom was neither clean nor comfortable. The facilities were basic. No utensils in the kitchen

• Alex (9/5): A home away from home in a city full of busy Govt Servants - Uthradam Towers is a four storey building with 2BHK flats at each floor. An escalator is available . Inhouse staff provide immediate empathetic assistance. The manager, Mr Ramesh is very friendly and proactive with ready suggestions on visits, places, food and such. A restaurant run by the same management but located about a km away is the source for orders. A number of other restaurants and messes ( Kerala University and MLA Hostel each located 800 m away also provide food at nominal rates.) The rooms are all outfitted with wardrobes, airconditioner, and hot water is available. A coffee kettle is available on request. A flat screen TV with cable connection is also available. Towels and soap are also offered. A common dining room with dining table and chairs with a common pantry is available to every two rooms. I found this place to be reasonable, run very well, and located such that all parts of the city could be accessed easily. An auto stand is located nearby. A small nearby village about 100 m away has shops with photocopying, groceries and a reasonable cafe that provides all three meals all days of the week. Mr. Ramesh, well read friendly and articulate, made my dull days interesting and we had sessions exchanging ideas and issues facing the city. It felt like home away from home. And he made it special. Pigeons roosting in the balcony could get in and dirty the place, so don't leave the balcony door open .
