• Trummer (8/5): Nettes Hotel in toller Hafenlage - Die Lage des Hotels ist super, direkter Blick in den schönen Hafen, interessantes Haus auf einer Insel im Hafen. Toller Frühstücksraum, auch das Frühstück sehr umfangreich und gut. Zimmer klein und sauber, bequeme Betten. Bad sauber. Umgebung leise Das Zimmer war klein, aber man könnte meinen dass dies zu diesem Hotel , dem Standort und dem Hotelvorleben, passt.

La literie était très agréable et les chambres étaient tres propres. L’équipe de l’hôtel était très accueillante et nous avons passé un super moment au petit déjeuner. Il était tout bonnement incroyable.

Although they only offer breakfast they do offer a packed lunch which was very reasonably priced at 90kon pp. They give you a cardboard box which you can then fill with whatever you choose from the breakfast buffet. They do have a bar and snacks area too. Nothing

Udsigten udover mens man spiste morgenmaden Pandekagerne var seje og trælse at spise. Det må være den varme ting der som bliver ved med at stege dem. Da vinden tog til om aftenen måtte jeg sove med ørepropper, da vinden gav en fløjte lyd igennem altan døren. Puderne. Der var en kæmpe stor og så en lille. Der kunne jeg godt bruge en midt imellem.

• SHUANG (10/5): - This hotel boasts absolutely stunning scenery. Every day when I open the door, I’m greeted with gorgeous sea views. I can enjoy the sea breeze and savor my time in Lofoten. The hotel is very spacious, the bed linen is comfortable, and everything is spotlessly clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delicious, and the location is great and easy to find.

La habitación estaba muy limpia, bien equipada y con mobiliario prácticamente nuevo. Las zonas comunes eran increíbles, especialmente el comedor, con unas vistas espectaculares. Además, el personal fue muy amable en todo momento.

We arrived late at night after a VERY windy flight into Evenes, picked up rental car and got on the road... by the time we arrived at accom it was almost midnight and WHAT a view to wake up to - just gorgeous. As always the Scandic breakfast was superb too, and the staff super friendly and helpful. We loved our stay here! Elec car charging right by the front door too. Everything you want in Svolvær is in easy walking distance, great location! n/a

• Selina (9/5): An enjoyable stay. - Good breakfast spread. Nice location. Great views from the mini balcony although we didn't go out or sit out on the balcony. It was cold and it was also snowing and the chairs and table covered with snow. Easy walk from the cruise terminal where we alighted from the Hurtigruten cruise. The glass screen provided in the bathroom could be bigger to prevent water splashing outside of the shower area. The shower gel / shampoo / conditioner pumps provided should be near the taps and shower head instead of at the far end. Does not make sense that we have to walk to the other end of the shower area to get it and move back to the tap and shower area as the glass screen only covers half the shower area.

• Mir (9/5): Excelente ubicación y cómodo - La ubicación del.hotel es perfecta, las vistas, la comodidad. El personal correcto pero bastantes serios, respondían a las consultas pero sin sonrisas y parecía que no les gustaba que se le preguntaran cosas.

Also a lovely, lovely hotel with a beautiful view in my room with the water-view and patio. Very quiet and safe to walk around, about 8 minute walk from the bus stop. Beautiful panoramic views of the harbour from the dining room, with all the staff so friendly and welcoming. Made me feel at home! Delicious breakfast and supper buffet. Excellent WiFi everywhere. Easy walk from sentrum bus stop, and into town for tour pickups.Totally safe for single traveller. Reception staff called a very efficient taxi when it started to snow! That I couldn’t stay for longer!
• Alexandra (9/5): Sehr schön - Das Frühstück konnten wir leider nicht probieren, da wir schon um 6 Uhr morgens auf der Fähre sein mussten. Die Lage ist super, wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Wasser mit einem kleinen Balkon. Die Aussicht war toll. Ich finde, so ein eher teures hotel sollte noch einen Spa-Bereich haben. Das hat gefehlt.
• May (9/5): A pleasant stay. - Great location near the harbour, with restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The surrounding views were beautiful. Although our room was a little small, it was very cosy and the bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast buffet with a good selection. The parking is paid and there is no elevator.

• anonymous (1/5): Awful - The location on a tiny island could have been wonderful (though our room was facing the car park) One member of staff - in the bar - tried to be helpful when we needed reception and there was no-one there. On arrival, snow and compacted ice had been left uncleared outside the entire entrance, even though many hours had passed since the snow fell. Checking in was not till 4.00 and when we asked to leave our luggage earlier we were immediately invited to pay 200 Krone for early check in. Our room was ground floor, facing the public car park, with no net curtain to screen us in daylight. As a result we had to keep the curtains drawn and lights on while dressing. There was no kettle or drinks provision in the room. We couldn't get a tea or coffee anywhere in the hotel unless we paid. Normally in Norway we have either been given a kettle or access to a public area where we could make a drink. Only one pillow each was provided. It's normal practice to find a couple of spare pillows in a wardrobe - as there were none we asked (after a long wait to find a receptionist) if we could be supplied with two more. We were grudgingly told she'd see if she could find any. (She did, thankfully, but it felt like we'd misbehaved). Our general impression from the staff and the accompanying lack of care was that we were not welcome. There was no sense that the hotel wished to look after us - only to take as much money as they could. Which indeed they did - this was the most expensive and by far the worst hotel we have found in Norway.
