- Martyn (10/5): Really enjoyed it. Ben really welcoming on arrival and throughout stay. - Beautiful location peaceful. Had everything that was needed. Nothing
- Alison (8/5): Lovely rustic place to stay! Highly recommend Kingsbridge for a chilled afternoon shopping! - Great location- beautiful and quiet with lovely surrounding countryside. The bed was very comfy and the decor was bijou
- zareen (4/5): After a quick clean myself and meeting Ben who was very friendly we made our break enjoyable. - Self catering did our own breakfast. The cabins looked tied a little love they would be good.. The floors in both cabins were not very clean,The fridge hadnt been cleaned,a quick wipe with some cleaning spray did the trick. The shower leakeked because the door didnt close properly,in the cornors of the shower on the outside was quite dirty. Toilet cornors needed brushingi and wiped. The equipment that we used was greasey feeling and microwave door was gresesey had to morless wash before use.Smell of damp.
- Lewis (9/5): - Super friendly and helpful hosts. Great location. Nice for relaxing and cooking outside.
- Chris (8/5): - Great location and value
- Beth (9/5): - I liked how the host answered all my questions for me aswell as helping give us local tips such as local taxi services to use.
- Lisa (10/5): An uninterrupted warm, cosy, cabin in beautiful peaceful surroundings - I liked the peaceful and uninterrupted location. It was warm, clean and cosy, just what I wanted. The owner was friendly and hospitable. I could only stay for one night!
- Dilek (10/5): - Amazing everything was amazing
- Sophjackson (10/5): - Hosts were very nice, the place was very clean, the view was amazing and was so peaceful, and I would definitely stay again
- Rosen Kefilev (7/5): - It has everything you need to have a good time. They hadn't bothered to clean up the cobwebs. There were everywhere, otherwise it was fine.
- Richard (9/5): Perfect base for exploring - Great location, lovely hosts, everything you need.
We’d definitely stay here again Nothing to put really, had a great time
- FIONA (9/5): Great fun with lots of friendly communication with the hosts - The views were lovely and the cabin very cozy at night. The driveway to the house is very bumpy but fairly normal for a rural Devon property
- Josephine (10/5): Idyllic getaway suitable for able bodied nature lovers. - Tucked away with restful views of trees and farmland. Lots of birdsong, privacy (it's the only cabin there) The drive down might need 4wd in bad weather.
Steep hill to get to cabins and slightly tricky steps to shower and kitchen cabin, ie u need to be able bodied.
Also tea and coffee provided but no milk. Admittedly it's self catering but like many I hadn't done my shop yet before picking up the keys.
- Mark (10/5): Peaceful, beautiful location. Couldn't fault the accommodation, a perfect stay! -
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful location overlooking the fields full of lambs, comfortable and clean. Whole place to yourself with everything you need for a relaxing stay included eggs from the chickens.
- James (10/5): Magical - Beautiful location, perfect setting and scenery.
Watching the lambs play on the Feild’s, mesmerised by them. Cosy perfect cabin . Wifi could of been a better more stable connection. Penny (the owner) did mention this will be sorted soon.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing little getaway in an enclosed little valley, which is very peaceful and serene... surrounded by wildlife yet a mere 10mins to the nearest big shop. Penny and the chickens are very friendly. The bedroom cabin (on the left) was very well insulated and warm with a brilliant and can sit on the patio at night looking at the sunset and stars... the cabin on the right is the kitchen and toilets with everything you need to prepare meals. Heartily recommend. We had a blast. Thank you. Nothing comes to mind.. everything was good..
- Bridget (4/5): Not a winter stay. Cottage damp. Setting lovely for summer. - Given wrong wifi code, twice. Host apologised, but it seemed very strange to be so disorganised.
So when we really needed communication for the first 24 hours, as no phone signal, we were cut off.
Probably lovely in Summer, but not a winter stay. Steps to bathroom cabin, which are wood and outside, were lethally slippery. We felt it was not safe to stay so we left a day early.
- Bev. (10/5): A lovely nature escape - Warm welcoming hosts, lovely location, excellent facilities. I loved how the basics were provided which is very rare for this type of accommodation. A really lovely stay.
- Anonymous (10/5): My stay was amazing - It is very peaceful and views are amazing good experience for glamping owes very helpful and friendly N/a
- Argel (7/5): Good - Nice and quiet and Ben was very friendly The toilet was 20 yds away from the bedroom outside at night for old people not ideal
- David (8/5): Welcomni - Great location. Quiet and secluded. The "cabin" accommodation is actually two separate cabins: one with bed, dining table and chairs and microwave; the other with kitchenette, bathroom and toilet. This means a fair amont f shuttling to ccok, eat and wash up. There is a plan to move the microwave into the kitchen area, whic wil improve things. It would be good to have a small folding table and chair in the kitchenette too, to give the option of eating in there.
- Roland (6/5): It wasn’t expensive but really does need to be tidied up and with a sharper eye for cleanliness - The accommodation was fun with a cosy sleep cabin. Milk and eggs from the farm were a nice addition. unfortunately there are a few points. The most important is that it wasn’t particularly clean. There were quite a few cobwebs (not a massive issue to me) but the frying pan and spatula I used both had food on and the sink in the bedroom had a previous occupant’s shavings. Most of the issue was with a previous occupant but unfortunately I think this means there needs to be more checking. The accommodation (especially outside) could do with some maintenance and sprucing up. The path up to the cabins isn’t very inviting, the kitchen cabin door jams in its frame and the outside padded seating has suffered from lack of cleaning. The last point that was a bit surprising is that the view is mainly of the farmhouse and buildings rather than rolling fields.
- Roberts (8/5): Relaxing and comfortable. - This is a lovely, quite place to stay and do as little as possible. Beautiful surroundings with lots of interesting places near by. Absolutely nothing.
