- Wiktoria (10/5): Lovely place - Very beautiful and quiet area. Great food. Authentic onsen experience. You can get there by bus. Nothing
- Mark (9/5): Overall a lovely stay - The food was just exquisite and I loved the fact that the location is quiet, yet the bus stop for a few of the lines is literally a 2 mins walk.
I chose to get a private onsen, which was cool, as the shower and onsen were both outdoors. The bed was very uncomfortable. I found it super hard, but it's a personal preference, and I hope this helps others to decide if that's a deal breaker.
It's starting to feel like it needs attention to the maintenance.
- Van Vliet (10/5): -
- Lilly (10/5): Quiet onsen with excellent food and private onsen in the room. - Booking.com search Food was excellent Love the private onsen in the room.
Der måtte gerne have været flere knager.

- Caitlin (10/5): - The onsen was a highlight of our trip. It was lovely and private and relaxing from walking a lot during the day.
- Michel Verleysen (10/5): Wonderful Stay! - The dinner was a real Japanese banquet, delicious. The breakfast was also a complete Japanese breakfast. The service is great. The staff is very efficient and pays attention to your needs. I did not try the large Onsen since there is one on your balcony that we enjoyed. Nothing

- Fábio (10/5): Very nice stay in Hakone area - The onsen, the japanese dinner and breakfast. Would be nice to have a little explanation of ingredients but its ok anyway The sound of the onsen in the room… made the night difficult
- Long (5/5): Meh - Free drinks corner Our reservation for the sauna was cancelled due to staff mistakes
- Diana Aitchison (9/5): Unforgettable experience - Unforgettable hakone experience! We had a large room with a private onsen. It was private, peaceful and so rejuvenating after 9 busy days touring Japan.
The meals were exquisite both in presentation and flavor. Generously portioned. The mattresses were very hard.
There are no views from the property although it has nice grounds.
- SHIH FENG (9/5): -
- Dongyo (10/5): good -

- Alena (10/5): We really liked our stay at the hotel. We enjoyed the onsen, hotel neighborhood, meal. - The private onsen in the room is great. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Meals (breakfast and dinner) are diverse and generous (Japanese style, meaning five and fish for breakfast). We were not able to eat everything that was served, meaning a lot of leftovers :(
- Paulina (9/5): Very pleasent stay in Hakone - My stay was great, I especially loved the private onsen. It was amazing after a long day of walking but also during rainy mornings. The staff was friendly and the hotel was really cosy. The breakfast was amazing. The noises travel easily between rooms, a family with a small kid stayed above us and the noises were tiresome. Some people were also noisy on their balconies which made us feel uncomfortable.
- SHIH FENG (9/5): -

A essayer absolument ! Rien
- Laura (10/5): -
- Mariia (8/5): -
- Ching Lam (9/5): -
- Natalya (8/5): - Was wonderful to have a private onsen in addition to public one. Traditional dinner and breakfast were great! The property is a bit tired and public onsen is pretty small
- Goldie (10/5): Beautiful experience with in room onsen - Incredible dinner and breakfast.
Great in room onsen, fabulous experience.
- Zsuzsanna (10/5): Un séjour inoubliable, à refaire! - Tout RAS
- Jose Angel (10/5): -
- May (10/5): Peaceful Retreat - This location is connected well with the bus route and the stop is right outside the hotel. I had a room with private onsen because I have tattoos, but the staff assured me I could still use the public onsen if I covered them. I didn't get a chance to use them, but thought that was worth sharing to others. I would just ask ahead of booking to be sure you can use the public onsen if you have tattoos, as a courtesy and to avoid disappointment. It was a luxury to come back from a day of exploring to enjoy the onsen in peace. I found the temperature to be soothingly hot.
I don't understand the comments about the food - I don't understand why you'd come to Japan and choose to stay in a traditional style hotel with meals included and not be open to their cuisine. I was overwhelmingly impressed by the quality, care with presentation, and abundance of dishes presented to me for breakfast and dinner. Come hungry. Everything was fresh and delicious. I also liked that drinks were available in the common areas all of the time, and providing a yukata to wear around the hotel to dinner was a nice touch. There's not much nearby. It's a 10 min walk to the nearest anything, i.e. 7-11, or a 20 min bus ride to Togendai. Again, the bus is well connected here. Just check ahead of time when to expect this and time your activities/trips accordingly.
- Stephanie (10/5): -
- Théo (10/5): -
- Alina (10/5): Amazing experience - The food was amazing and it was a lot of food, they asked for my allergies and were very accomodating, the yukata was a nice touch and there were drinks included too, the tatami beds were very comfortable, the room with a private onsen was perfect, the bus takes you to almost the entrance of the hotel and you can see the venetian glass museum with a short walk out of the hotel.
- Zoe (9/5): -
- Maria (8/5): -
- Wan-Ting (10/5): - The room was comfortable and the meals were amazing.
- TAMYRA (10/5): -
- Corey (9/5): - Nice staff, free drinks.
Food was excellent, we enjoyed dinner and breakfast.
The room onsen was very relaxing and large. A little dated in the building, but the facility all seemed functional and cared for.
- CHENG KAI (10/5): -
- Shiu (8/5): -
- Ema (9/5): -
- Nina (10/5): Beautiful facility - We thought this was an enchanting place. Very beautiful, wonderful staff, and great meals.
- Lucas (6/5): -
- Manon (10/5): A restful stay - A very nice gate away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities! I loved the loft room with the private onsen, very spacious and recently renovated. The food was AMAZING (be ready to indulge while you are there as everything is a real treat).
The bus stop is outside of the hotel to get to Hanoke (30-40min) but you also have a few shops and restaurants in the area.
The staff is extremely nice and helpful! They are looking after their guests very well.
- Kris Zackary (10/5): Absolutely recommended - The private onsen, the friendly and helpful staff, the breakfast and dinner, the room, practically everything :) We were staying for three days/two nights and unfortunately it rained on our full day there but we didn't feel like we missed out because we had the most relaxing day and just enjoyed staying with the hotel :)
- Cassidy (9/5): This was a great relaxing stay after the hustle and bustle of Tokyo - The property was beautiful, our private onsen was so cozy, and felt amazing! This was my first time sleeping on tatami mats, and for me personally it was a bit uncomfortable. However, I knew that it would be different when booking the room and we choose to experience it.
- Jill (9/5): -
- Gábor (9/5): -
- Danyelle (10/5): -
- Derek (10/5): Outstanding. - First class accommodations, with an unforgettable dinner included. Staff very friendly. Highly recommend. Nothing.
- Leanne (10/5): -
- Lucia (10/5): - I love everything. A little pricey for one night stay, but it was fine.
- Gábor (8/5): Don't forget to book table at the restaurant in advance - Breakfast, spa (onsen), room. Everything was great overall. The only slight disappointment was that the hotel restaurant was fully booked, so we weren’t able to have dinner there. It’s best to make a reservation in advance, though there are a few smaller restaurants within about a 15-minute walk. The breakfast was amazing, so it’s clear why dinner tends to fill up quickly. However I think it should be possible.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Daniela (10/5): Local lindo - De tudo, o local é lindo! Nada
- Gillian (7/5): - The staff was unbelievably kind - they were so accommodating to the fact that I don't eat red meat. They altered the meal a few hours before dinner service started which I really appreciated. The food was also amazing - almost too much food! The facilities are really outdated. The private onsen outside felt really dirty and there were lots of cracks in the stones and overall did not live up to our expectations for this rather expensive hotel. The drain did not drain properly in the shower and left us feeling really dirty waiting for it to go down. Overall would not return.
- J (8/5): -
- Duca (9/5): -
- Tanya (10/5): A beautiful relaxing oasis in Hakone - Relaxing atmosphere, great variety in meals (something different every breakfast & dinner), spacious and warm private onsen, surprisingly comfy bedding It’s a bit far from town/most things but that’s what the buses are for :)
Our room only had a shower OUTSIDE on the balcony so something to keep in mind if you’re booking the room with the hammock chairs!

- Ashley (10/5): Beautiful and memorable hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful! - This was my favorite booking of the trip! Personal onsen in room! Amazing dinner and traditional breakfast! I will dream of this place! Comfortable rooms and location was next to the Venetian glass museum! It was perfect
