Additionally, for two guests, only one bottle of water was provided—and that too only on the first day. No water was supplied on the following day, even though the stay was booked for two nights and three days.

Beim Eintreffen wurden wir im sehr freundlich gestalteten Rezeptions-Bereich vom Personal in sehr freundlicher Weise begrüßt und auf unser Zimmer geleitet Unser Zimmer war ausgezeichnet. Die Größe war überaus beachtlich und auch die Ausstattung war großartig. Gleiches gilt auch für den Bad-WC Bereich. Sehr angenehm war auch die Räumlichkeit, in der das Frühstück aufgenommen wurde. Das Angebot hier war aus der indischen Küche und war ausgezeichnet. Dies gilt für die Qualität wie auch die Breite des Angebots. Die im Hintergrund zu vernehmende indische Musik komplettierte außerdem noch das Flair, das hier das gesamte Ambiente erfüllte. Alles hat gepasst

But the young staff who helped us establish whether we actually had a place on a train (we had a wait-listed ticket) were exceptional. They went to a lot of trouble and we very much appreciated their efforts.
• Sophie (10/5): Outstanding experience - This was definitely one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. The service is excellent, all-time friendly and supportive staff. Especially Vishnu is doing an amazing customer service. The rooms are designed uniquely with love for detail and high-quality furniture. Everything was clean and tidy in the whole hotel. Whatever we needed was provided in no time. It's a short walk to the beach and there are many nice restaurants nearby. I would always come back and enjoyed the stay to the fullest.

We were unable to have breakfast the day we were checking out at 6 am . We asked for a packed breakfast and they first said that they could only provide cut fruits. I had to ask for some bread & butter . A lovely sandwich with some juices or take away coffee would have been great .

• Helen (10/5): A superlative hotel - My overnight stay at Prasanthi hotel was quite honestly one of the best hotel experiences I've had in India. I asked for a quiet room and it was given with a smile. Everything was immaculate. The small things ... like a quiet ceiling fan and same for the AC. Windows you could open. Such a comfortable bed and everything super clean and well maintained. And did I mention beautiful. The furnishings and interior design. This will definitely be my choice of hotel when I return to Kollam. Thank you to all the staff.

• Dana (10/5): - המלון ממוקם ליד החוף הרגשתי בו בטוחה הצוות היה אדיב ועזר לנו לארגן כך מה שהיינו צריכות, דאג לנו למים לחדר ולנהגים ליעדים הבאים. חדר חמוד עם קומקום, מיטה רכה וסדינים נעימים, מזגן טוב ואחלה זרם וטמפרטורה במקלחת מומלץ כמלון בקולאם. קולאם עצמה היא לא לכל אחד. שימו ♡ פרט לטיול על החוף, סיור בקו הדייגים ועליה למגדלור אין הרבה מה לעשות פה. אין כמעט תיירים והמים מסוכנים ואסורים לכניסה. לנו היה נעים ורגוע, אבל צריך להתאים ציפיות

• Chantal (9/5): Excellente adresse - Nous étions déjà venus dans cet hôtel il y a environ 2 ans et comme alors c'était parfait. La chambre est rutilante et bien meublée. La décoration est soignée et le buffet du petit-déjeuner excellent. Les thés et café ainsi que l'eau en bouteille sont renouvelés chaque jour et le ménage fait. Une excellente adresse à Kollam RAS

Beautifully decorated and very clean The sheets were the wrong size for the large bed, as was the mattress cover, so it made our night a bit uncomfortable.

The hotel safe in my room was not operable when I took the room. I should D have made it known to staff to rectify.

• Wanda (9/5): Mooi hotel met goed eten - Aardig personeel, hele ruime kamer en badkamer, schoon, comfortabel bed en lekker eten! Ligging is heel centraal en makkelijk te bereiken. Bij inchecken gaven ze geen wifi password, daar moest ik zelf later voor bellen. Ze geven de optie om eten te bestellen, maar er is geen menu aanwezig, ook daarvoor moet je apart bellen. Zou handig zijn als er gewoon eentje in de kamer is. Het restaurant was slecht bereikbaar, moest steeds via receptie omdat ze niet opnamen. Eten wel heel lekker. Verder een aanrader!

Comfortable bed. Clean towels and linen. The bathroom was very nice. Great water pressure. Nice shower. Really, the attention to detail was what made this one of my best stays while travelling India. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The location is excellent. Not even a 5 min walk to the beach. The breakfast was superb. Everything was great down tige well maintained greenery around the property. The dinners were delicious. The wait staff were very friendly and quick to make suggestions and share the specials. I would’ve happily stayed longer had time permitted. 10s across the board. Nothing.
• Robin (7/5): Decent stay but can be better - The hotel is clean and the rooms are nice. They were also very accommodating with holding my luggage for the day till I checked-in in the evening. The guards outside are very helpful. The hotel should look at either having its own shuttle service to ferry guests to the railway station or have cab/auto services on call. I had to catch a train from Kollam early in the morning for which I struggled to find an auto. With packs of dogs running around, walking around 1.5 kms was a risky proposition. Thankfully, the guards managed to flag down an auto at around 05:30 pm. I also feel the staff, especially at the reception, needs to be a bit more welcoming. A smile goes a long way in making a stay memorable.
