Guest Reviews

- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was very nice and unique, and is very well located in the old town with proximity to restaurants, shops and the beach. We arrived late at night and were greeted with lit candles and a bottle of wine that we could enjoy when we arrived. The host was always available and very helpful. Highly recommended.
- Narcis (10/5): Exceptional - very charming and special apartment, with unique layout right downtown, everything you need a few meters away; Francesco was very helpful and was great meeting him; for sure will return and stay again if available
- Randi (9/5): The stay was great and in a wonderfully central location. - A few very minor things that could have made our stay a bit more comfortable. Another light downstairs. Our kids were sleeping upstairs and we wanted some light but the light that you could have on was disturbing to those in the loft. You had to have the refrigerator unplugged in order to have the TV plugged in. The bedding was not super cozy, but that was just our personal preference.
- Katrine (8/5): Very good - Top location and very spacious. It is common with ground floor apartments and rentals in the area, but for it was our first time.
- Sarah (10/5): As a family of four, 2 adults and 2 teenagers we enjoyed our stay here and would return. - The property is a basement apartment, it has a large openable door to an enclosed lockable courtyard. There is a clothes line in the yard to hang up wet swim wear after a day at the sea. One benefit of the yard is that you can leave the door open and don’t have passers-by looking in at you, which we noticed lots of other apartments in the area don’t have the luxury of. Although a basement it is well lit and doesn’t feel like you are below ground.
Due to the configuration I think that the apartment would better suit a family rather than 2 couples. Although there is a door between the two areas where the beds are located so could close off if needed to.
There is a raised sleeping area with 2 double beds which were comfortable, this area was on top of the seating area and was where one of the bathrooms was also located.
The other double bed was under an arch in the area where the kitchenette was and the second bathroom is also located there.
There is a small kitchenette consisting of a sink, one ring stove, a coffee maker and a small fridge. There are some cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, a small pot and a pan to use. As we were on holiday we didn’t use the kitchenette to cook meals just to make coffee and have breakfast in the mornings.
The apartment is located in the heart of the old town area and is so close to all the restaurants and the coast. The local beaches are very accessible by foot and a walk along the coast line. Although being close to the buzz of the city it is quiet and peaceful in the apartment and you won’t be disturbed by this in the evening times so going to sleep won’t be affected.
The air conditioning in the apartment is good.
It’s a 20 minute walk to the train station, so easy to get around the area. The tourist information office in Monopoli located in near the harbour is very helpful if you need help getting around or figuring out bus timetables and bus stops.
- Patricia (9/5): Brilliant place with great staff. - Great location in old city. Francesco was very helpful on arrival and also on departure. Lovely place, quirky decor.
- Mark (8/5): Great location, beautiful city and host was very helpful - A really interesting property in an excellent part of Monopoli. The room layout is a little strange, but it is quaint and you get used to it (a loft with 2 beds, and then a separate bed under an arched area). The location made it worth it though as it is close to everything, The bathrooms are not very private and feel like you are in an outhouse.n
- Sarah (10/5): Beautiful newly renovated property in perfect location - Perfect location new extremely clean beautiful renovation stunning surroundings area would definitely recommend Perfect
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
