Guest Reviews
- Anna (8/5): Good place to stay, it’s close to Beamish and other family attractions, on a quiet street, we had very little passing tr - This is a nice house, clean, good size, the bedrooms worked for us as a family, the bathroom is great with an easy to operate shower, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the coffee machine was a bonus. Having an enclosed back garden was great and safe for our children and the off road parking was another bonus. The wifi worked really well, and we had all the information we needed to operate electronics etc around the house. Downstairs is fully open plan, no doors (other than 1 by the front door) or curtains, so sounds can be a bit overwhelming especially with children.
- Guest (6/5): For what I needed it was okay, for that price point I would expect better on the points I raised - Decorated to a decent standard, kitchen area was clean and tidy, house was spacious and rooms a good size + beds are super comfortable Could have been cleaner and a bit of upkeep of the house would have been beneficial. Examples: spider webs in the rooms, wall cladding peeling away in the master room, dusty in the bathroom and the heating didn’t work
- Prestige (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (7/5): Good -
- James (10/5): Nice holiday home with decent service. - Nice location and the accommodation was to a good standard. Nicely presented and with all essentials for our stay.
Constant contact was maintained leading up to the stay and there was no problem with entry.
Would gladly stay again.
- Andrew (5/5): Not yet ready for guests. - Key collection was easy. Shower was good. Pleasant village. Bed was not comfortable. Towels were small. Bare lightbulbs with no shades. Bedside lights did not work. Wifi did not work. No bread knife. Decking in the garden was dangerously slippery making the garden unusaable. Thermostat was difficult to use. Not enough seating in the living room. Bathroom had no window and no mirror on the wall. Found rubbish in one of the bedroom drawers. No coathangers. No outdoor seating. Bedroom window was filthy. No curtains throughout the house. Pot of paint left in the back yard.
