- Iain (9/5): Replacing barn conversion in a handy location for seeing north Cornwall. - Well finished and clean. Good facilities. Property was advertised as pet friendly, but hardwood floors throughout, while easy to clean, are not pet friendly and actually quite slippy. We also appreciate the need for punctuality in leaving to give the owner time for cleaning, but the threats of a £40/hr charge past the 10am checkout did not give us a friendly atmosphere. We did leave early just to be sure of not incurring a charge. We have also come across owners in the past charging extra for us taking our pets, but we did feel the £25/ day charge a little excessive. This was actually reduced from £35/ day in our confirmation email. The property was very clean and well presented so we don’t want it to come across that we did not enjoy our stay. Just a couple of observations.

- Carolyn (10/5): A gem of a find and would highly recommend this accommodation - Absolutely gorgeous, spacious and clean with everything you could ask for including a washing machine. Plenty of parking, great wifi and booklet with recommendations of places to see and eat which was very helpful. Great spot to explore the surrounding villages. Hosts were friendly and very helpful. The approach road is very narrow and felt like it wasn’t wide enough for one car let alone two if you met someone coming the other way but we soon realised that many roads in this area are just as narrow and that our rental car ‘upgrade’ to a larger vehicle wasn’t necessarily better than the small car we’d ordered 😂 Didn’t stop us having a wonderful time and visiting some beautiful spots around the area.

The twin beds were small and that room felt small and cramped. We had nowhere for our suitcase in the room. The bed in the main bedroom could have been bigger too.
