It is also set back from the main road making it quieter than most options so we slept well & had more privacy at the property. We had the breakfast included which had delicious coffee every morning. All the staff were really lovely The rooms were large, clean & modern Plenty of parking for scooters

Empleados simpáticos y limpieza diaria de la habitación si les avisas. La cocina podría estar más limpia y al menos tener un microondas. Deberían controlar el tema de las hormigas dentro de la habitación.

• Madoty (4/5): - La gentillesse du personnel très à l'écoute de nos besoins, toujours souriant et facilitant notre séjour. S'ils n'avaient pas été là nous serions partis. Le retrait de l'hôtel par rapport à la rue, donc pas trop de bruits de circulation. L'odeur infecte dans la chambre dûe à une incapacité de ventiler la salle de bain. Une odeur de moisissure très prononcée qui, de ce fait, embaumait les serviettes de toilette ainsi que nos affaires. Des étiquettes accrochées aux taies d'oreillers et aux serviettes. J'ose espérer que cela venait d'un service de pressing et pas de produits nouveaux non lavés. La couette du lit trop petite pour deux faisant exactement la taille du matelas. Une fois en dessous, nous n'avions que la moitié du corps recouvert. Des fourmies en grand nombre nous empêchant de pouvoir manger sur la table de la chambre sans risquer l'invasion. Pas de gel douche à notre arrivée, uniquement du shampoing. Heureusement nous avions le nôtre. Tout est très rudimentaire. La salle commune pour les repas n'était pas digne d'un hôtel. La vue sur les rizières n'avait rien à voir avec les photos. L'hôtel n'y est pour rien mais cela rajoutait à l'ensemble déjà médiocre. Nous avions des zones d'eau croupie donc attirant les moustiques. Je ne recommande vraiment pas. De tous les hôtels ce fût notre pire expérience à Bali.

• Yasmin (8/5): Fijn hotel - Het personeel was heel vriendelijk, regelde fijne chauffeurs voor tours. De kamers zijn schoon, het hotel ligt rustig en het balkon kijkt uit op een klein rijstveldje. Er is een gezamenlijk keukentje waar je zelf wat kan koken of gebruik kan maken van koelkast of watertap. In het aanpalende restaurantje kun je heerlijk (modern) eten. De kamers hebben wat weinig sfeer en de bedden zijn wat beweeglijk; als je partner beweegt beweeg je mee. Maar afgezien daarvan is het een fijn hotel.

The room was nice and modern, and I enjoyed relaxing on the bean bag outside my room while overlooking the pool The room lacked privacy since other guests could see directly into both the bed and bathroom areas - it would be much better with some blinds. There were also a few stains on the bed sheets and pillowcases

• Sten (10/5): Amazing spot loved every minute! - Amazing tranquil spot in a great location in Canggu. Great value, and the partner restaurant next door is top notch. Everything was great.

Not ideal for a long stay due to potential mol - The location is very nice - a Minimart nearby and Nue restaurant is really good! The swimming pool is very cozy and warm, and the rice fields view is the cherry on top It is obvious that the place is freshly renovated, no mold anywhere - but the smell if mold presents, signaling some deeper mold might still be there, unfortunately. Also for some reason main lights did not work in my room

• Vadim (7/5): Good option for this money - Good location, nice price Strong smell of mold, the sink is also moldy. No safe box. You will have to choose between the light from outside and privacy.
• Michal (4/5): Immense disappointment - The Breakfasts in form of buffet were great. Our first room was terribly infested by mold. It was obvious the staff knew about the problem but keep using the room anyway. After we informed them about the issue, they gave us a new room, which was much better without any signs of mold, however for our last night, due to capacity reasons, they relocated us again, and it was terrible again. I do not think anyone should be sleeping in such conditions.

• Ella (6/5): Cool hotel but needs some love, mould is not okay anywhere - Really cool spot, and the views over the rice fields are amazing. The pool was good, although was full of bugs. It was very basic - but all you need for a cheap place. Would recommend a bigger bin in the room and shelf in bathroom as there’s nowhere to put your things :) Free brekky was a nice touch MOULD!! The first night we stayed in a room that smelt terribly of mould. The smell from the bathroom was actually unbearable. We stayed one night and woke up the next morning with sore throats, feeling sick. We told them about the issue and moved rooms but no apology for the terrible state of the first room and the hassle of moving. We asked if anyone else had complained about mould and they said no, but there’s other reviews of people saying the same. We were very close to leaving and booking a new hotel. The next room was better, but you could still see the mould on the air con, so we only ran it for short periods as we were scared of getting more sick. Because the doors don’t fully close, the room had ants everywhere and they got all through our things.
• Dic7 (9/5): Superb - Simple yet comfy and clean room. Amazing breakfast. Polite staff. Good view. I wish there was a sheer curtain in my room for more privacy yet still allows sunlight to come in. It's impossible to have both without a sheer curtain. I wish the chair in the room can be changed into one that is not noisy when moved.
• Aine (9/5): Would stay again! - Staff are super friendly. Room is cleaned everyday with fresh towels. Although I didn’t sunbathe, it’s a great spot to sunbathe! Use of small kitchen on 2nd floor. Breakfast in Nue was wonderful. A few options in the menu, but great food and great service. Good WiFi connection. 15% discount card for Nue. Located right beside Glo, a good spot for massage, mani&pedi. I received a voucher for 100,000 for Nue for breakfast. I wasn’t sure if this was for the 3 mornings or a once off breakfast.

• Ilya (8/5): Very Relaxing - After many locations, i found backyard to be a reliable place to come back to. The rice fields and the pool adds to a good atmosphere. I have stayed here 3 times now JAN, MARCH and JUNE for 2 - 3 nights specifically before i need to catch a flight back home. The staff are easy going and relaxed, also late checkout is possible if you have a plane at night. They also have a restaurant attached. The rooms are very clean, sheets are clean, towels are clean, air conditioner is clean and the shower is hot and strong. There is a kitchen area on the 2nd floor. This place is good if you need to relax from the hustle and bustle but it takes only 5mins to walk back to the main Canggu beach center and to access all the restaurants/bars. Everything is good! Perhaps some tables and chairs next to the pool area would be a good addition?

• Abdullateef (1/5): The employee may calculate the wrong number of days and then charge you the amount - The receptionist is a man with bad morals, and I discovered that many customers have problems with this man. I made a reservation from 10/25 to 10/26, but he checked me out on 10/25, less than 12 hours later. I filed a complaint and am waiting for a response. I do not recommend staying here. • Irene (8/5): Beautiful spot, questionable sanitation - Gorgeous spot overlooking rice fields. Walking distance to incredible cafes. Very kind staff. Surprisingly well-equipped shared kitchen with a countertop oven, stove, and air fryer. The linens and blanket stank of body odor. The staff was able to change my towel and duvet cover, but the blanket itself was stained and smelled horrible. It felt very unsanitary. Also saw the staff washing the floor mop directly in the kitchen sink.

• Charlie (10/5): Exceptional - We had an amazing 3 night stay at Backyard Canguu and honestly could have stayed longer. Everything is new and the cleanliness is 10/10. The staff are so accommodating and friendly, they really put a lot of effort into the upkeep of the place too. The kitchen is a nice added bonus too!
