• Rachel (6/5): Overall, great location! - Location was great, right near everything in the French Quarter. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Great for our group of friends to stay together. Someone showed up in the middle of the day without warning to clean a vent. We ran out of toilet paper and garbage bags and had to go to the store to buy more. There were some fire places in the hallway that did cause a tripping hazard; they were covered with rugs which made it worse.

• Alison (8/5): A Nice Stay at Royal Residence - We got in late at night, so it was nice that there was coffee and creamer stocked. The location was excellent. Everything we wanted to do was walkable.

• Nakeisha (8/5): Great stay, lovely home with the perfect location!!💙 - I LOVE THE LOCATION! The house was beautiful, large, and cozy at the same time!❤️ The internet did not work well. The router was in the townhouse next door and was unable to be reset! No football for us and so the trip was ruined!

• Mark (10/5): Great and met all my expectations. - The unit was located only blocks from bourbon st and the French quarter. Very convenient fir all to access these areas. I really enjoyed the place and had no complaints. Would definitely stay again if I'm in new orleans for something.

• Jennifer (5/5): Very good place if you planning on being close to bourbon street. - The rooms were great. Very good air. Very clean place with the most positive vibes inside. Someone was on the back spying on us. Something needs to be done by that! Climbing Trees🙄. The polices are no good because they didn’t do anything about it!!!
• Elizabeth (9/5): We enjoyed our stay. The house was welcoming. We would stay there again. - The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. The fridge was large, so we could stock it with our soft drinks, water, fruit and food. The only issue was that the light in the fridge was out. There were no pitchers to mix our drinks in, so we bought two and left them as a donation to the house. We also needed a vase for my mom's birthday flowers. There wasn't a vase, so we bought one and left it as a donation also. The light over the stove under the microwave wasn't working. Other than that everything in the kitchen was clean and well stocked. The bedroom were clean and nice. The beds comfortable. Flat screen tv in every bedroom.The bathrooms were clean. There was a washer and dryer in the second bathroom. We loved the location. My mom turned 85 , but she was able to walk with us to the French Market, Frenchman St and to Bourbon St. The host of the house was very accommodating. The futon couch in the living room was too low and was so hard and uncomfortable. We are older people and it was hard to get up and down. The two accent chairs in the living room were so stained and dirty. No one wanted to sit on them. The remote control for the ceiling fan in room 104 had no battery in it . So we kept the fan off, because it was on high speed and was too much. Also the neighborhood was so peaceful and relaxing during the day, but at night.....so much traffic, the cars playing loud music, crowded with people, because of the club on the corner. It was hard to find parking at night. Also we had a nice porch , but there was no porch furniture. We would have loved to sit out front on the porch.

• Stine (6/5): Disappointed that the listing incorrectly said 5 beds but great location - Location was phenomenal, great bar across the street, walking distance to everything. Also plenty blankets and hot water handled our group well. The listing is incorrect and says there is a room with 2 beds which is not true so we were 1 bed short. House is dated with some holes and cut my foot on a broken tile. sleeper couch is a bit worn out and not very comfortable, not much noise insulation.
• Christine (9/5): I would stay here again - The location was fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere. Frenchman St was around the corner, Bourbon St. was about 10-15 min. Close to Jazz museum and the market. Bedrooms and beds were fine. Living room a bit sparse, but who comes to NOLA to sit in doors, right? Parking is a challenge if you arrive by car. Two bars on the corner can get loud so be ready for there to be noise late into the night. We didn’t get information about how to get in until just a couple of hours prior to arrival which was a bit unnerving and the unit was not the one I reserved (Its a duplex and I reserved one side with specific bed configurations but was given the other without forewarning. It worked in the end because we were one less person, but if all of us had arrived sleeping would have been awkward)

(But bring in when not in use or you will not have them the next morning like us! LOL) everything everyone said is accurate. There are several old fireplace mantels and hearths making me think this was once a brothel? Quarters? Etc? Anyways the “trip hazard” mentioned is easily circumvented with placing some solo cups on these mantels and hearths)

• Leigh (9/5): Our host was amazing! He was so accommodating. - Location and it was roomy loved the patio too. The futon is not comfortable to sit on at all. Could use some front porch furniture. Couldn't adjust the AC and heat was on.

Also the little corner bar was our go to place! Great job! I know that things disappear but maybe some furnishings on the porch to sit and enjoy the street environment and great weather in the fall.
