• Adnan (7/5): Group review - I had a great stay here with my friend. The location was perfect, the price range was very reasonable, and the overall cleanliness was excellent. The rooms were quite spacious, and even the bathroom size was perfect, which made the stay very comfortable. They also provided useful facilities like a fridge and a stove, which was really convenient and made the stay feel more homely. We booked three rooms in total—two rooms were on the ground floor and one on the first floor—and the arrangement worked well for us. The only thing I felt was missing was Wi-Fi. I would definitely recommend adding that facility, as it would make the experience even better. Overall, I would highly recommend this inn for anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and well-located place to stay at a good price. No hair dryer was available

• Arjun (9/5): Feels like home - Although I had limited time in Varkala, I enjoyed enough with this stay, however there is not direct sea view, but it is 5 minutes away from Cliff/beach/flea-market. We got our hand on ground floor which consist of 2 Bedroom + Living Room + Kitchen + Backyard + Child Cradle + Car Parking. The property care taker Akhil is helpful and will give you heads-up instruction on going to the shortcut walkway to the beach or other queries. All in all it was a decent stay. Only 1 bath towel for 1 room

• Rajshree (10/5): crazy worth the money, didn’t have any second thoughts about trying other options. - the room and the washroom were huge, and the bed was so comfortable! the location of the property was at a 2 minutes walking distance from the north cliff. the host helped us with rental scootys, and everything we wanted to know about. the stay was really amazing!

• Wayne (9/5): Clean, comfortable and convenient place - Great location to the main strip of shops and restaurants at Varkala Beach. Clean spacious room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Large water bottles to refill your own bottle and access to a simple kitchen if you want to do some basic cooking for yourself. Not much character to the property and whilst you can contact the host who was helpful with anything I needed, there is no reception or permanent staff on site.

Номера темные ,окна выходят впритык к соседнему отелю . Кондиционеры в соседнем отеле расположены так ,что весь шум и тепло шли к нам в окна . Хозяина не было ,когда мы приехали ,хотя время приезда согласовывали заранее ,была одна женщина из штата ,которая не говорила на английском языке и не решала вопросы . Мы бронировали два номера с кухней ,нам предложили два номера без кухни ,даже не было электрочайника . Только через полчаса ,после того ,как мы уже хотели уезжать ,приехал хозяин и мы заселились в отель .

• ELEFTHERIA (10/5): - We stayed at Katsura Varkala for two nights. The location is excellent in a quiet neighborhood and close to everything by foot. The house we stayed in was one of the cleanest and newest apartments we have stayed in all of Kerala.

• D (10/5): - Great stay ! Had a pleasant experience staying here,the rooms were spacious and comfy. The North cliff & Beach is about less than 5 mins from the stay and easily walkable. Mr.Nikil and other Staff are very friendly,he helped us in all ways like renting a scooter and guided us on places to visit. Another suggestion from Mr. Nikil the caretaker was an eatery called thirumala foods which is at a walkable distance in route to the north cliff, which serves home made sadya meals during lunch time, A must try if you want to taste authentic kerala home cooked meals. Everything was just perfect,no complaints from a city dweller.

The drive up to the property was very narrow and there wasn't a sign with the property name at a critical turn. The rooms were also very clean and well maintained, with a daily cleaning lady attending to everything..Theres a sofa and water dispenser in the common hall area along with a good working wifi. Theres also a small common balcony to chill. The location is a bit cramped, but just a walking distance to the cliff, which was a goo thing.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this room to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay. So we waited later he asked for extra money. I argued at first but later said I would pay. We were still waiting for the check in and the room. Suddenly a foreigner showed up saying he also booked the same room. The room boy was rude, arrogant and mean. He told us he would as my booking and told us to leave the property and told us that the foreigners review matters the most. We had one of the worst experiences that night. We argued for hours for nothing our belongings and luggage where thrown out. I don’t recommend this place for anyone. There are better hotels near the cliff. These guys are scammers and filthy people.
