Guest Reviews
- Suresh (7/5): -
- Ash (8/5): Basic property ….. value for money - Close to all tourist attractions Should provide electric kettle
- Vaisagh_D (9/5): - The location, the facilities everything was proper and good.
- Jyotish (10/5): - Very closely located to the beach. Neatly maintained rooms.
- Nishad (6/5): -
- Dibakar Deb (6/5): - LOCATION IS GOOD ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN
- Ramakrishnan Narayanan (9/5): - Excellent location. Value for money.
- Naadan (8/5): Excellent location, walkable to all amenities. - Location was ultimate. Sunset and Sunrise can be viewed directly from the hotel roof terrace. Some rooms also have sunrise view. Location was right next to the temple and the main shopping street, and 100m from the boat jetty. It's very very safe. You won't need to drive if you stay here. So many food options were available nearby. Cost is quite reasonable for an AC room and at peak tourist season. Upon arrival, they offered to transfer us to another hotel next door, with a better view room. The staff made good effort to make us happy. It was VERY VERY SAFE at night, to walk around peacefully. We asked for extra bed, which was provided. But they didn't give receipt for that, perhaps the manager pocketed the money. The lift was too tiny, so mostly we used the stairs. Late check-out was available by paying a few hundred extra.
- Anirban (9/5): - Good location near by to Kanyakumari temple. Staffs are very good along with Room facilities. Watching sun-rise is easy Rooms are large along with lift. ACs are bit old and some time does not work properly.
- Sreekumara (5/5): -
- Mitra (9/5): - goodnothing to say all were up to the mark
- MONICA (10/5): Good experience - Overall Overall
- MURALI (5/5): - Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Stained.

WiFi not great
- Vidya (6/5): - walkable to all points Dirty bathrooms and door mats
- S V (9/5): Value for money - Very convenient location and comfortable stay. A small issue regarding hot water. It should be resolved.

- Ramesh (9/5): We had a nice stay. Its sevice Anne cleanliness attracted me - It’s location and earnesty to serve better Its closeness to the boundary wall
- Khemchund (6/5): Fast and furious stay… only good for bag deposit and outside visit - Proximity to the tourist attractions They need to clean… windows were blurry.. toilet / bathroom… and tap/ shower head etc not fully functional

- Anonymous (7/5): We enjoyed the stay with the location of your hotel we could visit most of the places on time - The Location of the Hotel was excellent, the staff was good. Except for the TV and the AC remote ,Trest all were good TV was not running and also the AC remote was not functioning
- Gopalakrishnan (6/5): Good hotel for a short stay and visiting the Bhagavati temple - No restaurant attached to the hotel. However, a good vegetarian hotel is available nearby. Hotel is located very near to the Kanyakumari Bhagavati temple. Nearer to boating point. Sun rise could be watched from the terrace of the hotel itself. Car Parking is not available. Wifi is not uptomark. Room service require to be improved
- Ch (8/5): Budget conscious can stay at Sri Maniya as most of the tourist places are at walkable distance. - Stayed in Standard AC room. The hotel is very near to catch ferry and visit Vivekananda memorial rock and rock on which Sri Thiruvalluvar statue standing, temple (Kanyakumari), Sunrise point. Few steps away from pure veg Saravana Bhavan. It's in the middle of the market. Nothing
- Ramesh (7/5): Generally comfortable and satisfactory. The location was most ideal. - Location, comfortable for a short trip Dish TV was not functional in one of the rooms, rooms are generally maintained well but a little extra care for cleaning would make it even better, door locks were too tight and might need service or replacement.
- Prasanta (9/5): Superb - Location is very good. 1 km from train station. 100 m from beach and all other temples, sun rise point, sun set point and good eateries surround the hotel.
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Vengadesan (10/5): Exceptional -

- V.r. (8/5): Very good -
- Swastik (7/5): Good hotels for pocket friendly person - Place on the location , clear room Place on the location but not Sea view, room clean but not ac working properly
- Sivachidambaram (7/5): Good -
- Partha (1/5): Bad - There is nothing good about this hotel except the location. A old property....old furniture, doors don't close properly, lift is out of service for most of the time. Tv don't work, wifi don't work.
Hotel staffs are highly unprofessional. I saw the manager kicking an aged staff infront of me.
I requested an extra pillow for my 5 year old in return they said I need to get an extra bed for rs 800 to get an extra pillow. So think of the facilities you can expect from the hotel.
My suggestion would be avoid this property as you get many better hotels at the same price.
- Amar (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dr (9/5): Superb -
- R (7/5): Good - It is good.
- Manjunatha (4/5): Disappointing - Toilets are not cleaned properly

- V (10/5): Exceptional -
- Poniewiera (9/5): I stayed 1 night with a group from Klub Laurazja (Poland). Hotel is a good place for sightseeing - Very good location. We could go evrywhere by foot. There is a very nice terrace, but a little unused (no any chairs)
- Bhuvanagiri (9/5): One like to visit again for better stay - Location is good, Nothing
- Ruthvik (10/5): Exceptional -
- Satyarao (7/5): Good -
- Ujjwal (10/5): Exceptional - Very good
- Sethupathi (8/5): Very good -
- Naren (4/5): Disappointing -
- Prabhuswamy (6/5): It is OK - Near to sea beach and Kanyakumari temple Near to places
- Nicolette (5/5): Ok and very cheap but would not recommend for more than 1 or 2 night stay - Location very good Noisy at night as central location close to temples and worshippers up early. Also visited during Independence celebrations do may have been due to that. View of brick wall from window. Room passable for one night and clean
- Krubakaran (9/5): Superb -
- Benny (4/5): Not worth the money paid; good enough for Rs. 2,000 per day - Excellent location The guy at the counter kept us waiting. He is always grumpy - the facial expression is 'why are you harassing me?'. Elevator breaks down often. Before we checked out, one guy came to check the room to ensure that we did not steal anything!
After paying Rs. 4,480 for a day, I certainly expected a better place
- Madhav (8/5): Very good -
- Sudeep (5/5): Really poor quality of stay - The staff were helpful and nice, and the room was big. The location is super convenient and just walking distance to all the main points. The AC works well. The mattress was dirty and had food (some sev and dry raisins) on it. I wasn't given a towel on check-in and had to specifically request for it. Nor was there a sheet or blanket to cover during sleep. The bed is too hard, and the view from the window was just a wall 1 meter away. The rooftop could be a great place to chill, but at present it's just a mess and could use a lot of TLC.
- Timir (7/5): Good -
- Amal (6/5): Location super but not worth the price - Location is too good. Every main place is at walkable distance. Hot water was not at all available. Place from where sunrise can be seen is full waste material no place available to stand.
- Gyan (5/5): Passable - Average
- Mukundan (8/5): Very good - Comfortable. Very near to temple The room is good. | found that the TV is not functioning and informed the Reception 'Though he agreed to send a technician, nobody attended to rectify the mistake
- Venkata (7/5): Ferry point, temple, restaurant & beach only a few minutes away from hotel. - Room was good, clean. The ferry point, temple, restaurant & beach are on the same street. And you can watch the sunrise from the terrace itself. We changed our room but found that the TVs do not function in any room. Cable connection problem.
- Mahesh (9/5): Superb -
- Sivakumar (8/5): Very good -
- Gaurav (1/5): Bad -
- Boro (8/5): Hotel for Family tour to Kanyakumari. - Best family Hotel in Kanyakumari to visit Temple, Rock Memorial, Beach and many more from this Hotel. All points are 1 to 5 minute walk distance. Hotel location: Very good.
Hotel staff: Very good.
Hotel Room: clean.
Coast: Value for money.
- Binuj (3/5): ok.. no restaurant in hotel - location eventhough booking.com said to pay at the property.. on the eve of the visit, the hotel asked for advance and otherwise rhey threatened to cancel the booking if advance is not paid.
- Kanker (6/5): Pleasant - It is close to the main tourist attraction places. Taps in the restroom were continuously leaking.

- Elayaraja (1/5): Bad -
- Dipon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manju (7/5): Good -
- Meenakshi (9/5): Superb - Location and room size. The room had no platform to keep the luggage.

- Dhan (8/5): Very good - Very good location, after 4pm climate is windy, more comfortable..
Lots of local jute bags Very hot climate.
Plenty of seashells handicraft, souvenir on sale which is against environment.
We must protect our sea
- Rogin (2/5): Very poor - Ok Ok
- Ashok (1/5): Shithoke - Perhaps location Bed mattress has no spring have suffered lower back pain .
We booked room with balcony we were given different room
Bottle water supplied was opened
List goes on
Very disappointed
- Jena (9/5): Superb -
- Jafer (3/5): Poor -
- Umrikar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shiva (1/5): Dont stay here. Not worth the money. - Close to the temple. The room was not clean, the bathroom had stains and hair on the window.
The sheets and towel had stains,
There was no working wifi.
The AC was not working properly.
The lift kept shutting down.
Finally, there was a lot of power outage at night and in the morning which made the stay there all the more stressful.
- Rosy (6/5): Pleasant - Great location and clean room and bathroom. Nice roof terrace for sunrise. Super close to temple and memorial and the beaches for sunrise and sunset. The manager did try to assist me when I needed but communication was difficult. I appreciated his efforts though. I kept being disturbed by other guests knocking on my door, using the wrong key to try and access my room, and calling through the door. I asked the manager what was happening and he said he would investigate but it kept happening.
Also the WiFI completely disappeared for almost two days of my stay.
And there was only one working socket in my room.
I tried to explain and ask for clarity but communication was difficult.
- Logesh (10/5): Excellent - Well maintained hotel with friendly staff, Beach and major sightseeing just walkable. Value for money
- Sunitha (10/5): Exceptional - Good location with Neat and clean rooms having friendly staff 🤝 Hotel is located near to beach
- Sunitha (10/5): Excellent - Good location with Neat and clean rooms having friendly staff 🤝 Hotel is located near to beach
- Gemma (4/5): Overpriced and noisy - The location was good if you like being in the hustle and bustle… 5 minutes walk to the southern most viewpoint. The rooms were fairly spacious, and the staff were ok. The noise INSIDE the property was absolutely unbearable… the other customers were running riot screaming up and down the corridors. We were up at 4am on both mornings with shouting outside and banging doors. The staff went and told them to be quiet once and did nothing else. The rooms were not clean or well equipped enough for the price. No hot water. No toilet roll. One towel (in a room for 2 people). The sewerage smell came in waves through the room like we were close to a pipe or something. NONE of the plugs worked only one behind the TV so was difficult to charge our phones. No “fireplace” or view as mentioned on room details on booking. Thinnest bed linen we have ever seen so an uncomfortable sleep. We couldn’t wait to leave.
- Fazil (3/5): Poor -
- Ajay (3/5): Poor -
- Anita (1/5): Very Very Very bad ... - The location was the only positive
I understand it's budget but they should still have certain standards of hygiene and safety
Complained to booking.com but no reply as yet , Where do I start .. unhygienic and unsafe
Dirty toilet and sink , with glazed open window to communal corridor
It states room service ,there is none
They wanted £3 for extra bed ,which is fine ,but it was just a filthy mattress so I declined
Filthy unusable pillow, only one towel for 2 people ,
Dusty , fan hanging out of ceiling ,open electric wires in room .
Our door lock jammed leaving us very vulnerable in a fire and unable to access our room with going down to get someone to let us in .
Toiler flush emptied water from toilet all over the floor. A horrible experience, r
Unhelpful staff
