Guest Reviews
- cingr66 (8/5): ottimo - Bella casa tipica del territorio, unità indipendente con giardino, buone le camere la biancheria così così, ma nel complesso comoda spaziosa con tutti i servizi necessari per poter organizzare colazione e cene in casa.
- Dorota (8/5): Very good -
- Macgregor (6/5): Probably more suited to climbers, walkers. - Good location for travelling about.
Rooms were a good size for three adults. On website, says 'Guests enjoy a garden' No grass and looks unkempt.
Could do with more info in Welcome book (eg how to use hot water/heating controls, local attractions, where to eat, taxi numbers etc). Guest book suggestion to give owner direct feedback.
Unfinished decor - upstairs door only had an undercoat.
Saw similar comments on previous posts about doors not closing, poor shower, tap loose, etc but no action taken. Hence the property looked 'tired' compared to photos
- Jill (5/5): Ultimately the house was adequate for our trip but certainly not worth the money we paid. - Clean and comfy bed and good view of Ben Nevis at the back of the house.
Host was very helpful. Garden unkempt so first impression not very good.
Unfinished decoration throughout and trim/ skirtings missing or unpainted.
No shower mat.
Shower was just a few of drips.
Shower was badly designed as the small drips of water were landing in the area of the bath that had a shelf so hard to get under it properly without taking the shower head off the wall.
Bath very high sided so slippy and awkward trying to get in and out for the more elderly of us.
Hot tap in bathroom was loose and kept moving when trying to turn on and water leaking at the back of the tap/sink.
- Martha (8/5): Suited us just fine - Great views from the back garden and the dining room. Comfortable accommodation. Close to the Loch and the Caledonian Canal and within easy travel of Fort William. We had problems with the bathroom door which was difficult to close and the handle was loose. I know it is self catering but there was not enough toilet roll for one night for 3 people. So just need to make sure essentials are up to date.
- David (10/5): Enjoyable stay in a handy location. - Well equipped spacious propery in a quiet location on the outskirts of Fort William. Easy access in to town, but local shops close by. Nothing. All went very smoothly.
- Maria (10/5): Excellent location and very accommodating host! - It’s was cosy and perfect for family. The bed was very comfortable, I had a very good sleep there! It had everything you need for self catering and there were plenty of shops 5 mins walk.
The host was fantastic, we drove from London and was absolutely exhausted when we arrived to Scotland. The host allowed us to check in earlier which really helped with our mental state 🥰 The bedroom and bathroom doors were difficult to closed but that didn’t bother us as we shared with families.
- Varaporn (3/5): Closed - In caol, near fort william by car. They told us that they are closed from booking but don’t know how can we booked the house.
- Davies (9/5): Perfect for public transport - The house is very spacious and comfortable.
It is located a short, beautiful walk from the station. There is a bus stop outside the front door and a Co-op just up the road. Perfect for those traveling by public transport rather than car. Just a few little niggles like the blunt kitchen knives and lack of tea towels.
- Stefan (9/5): Superb - lovely little house in a very quiet area right next to ben nevis
- Roxy (10/5): Exceptional - I like everything the host prepared and decorated with very nice home furnishings The host asked me to do the dish which was not clear and specified in the home policy, causing some unpleasant miscommunication after we left.
- Fraser (10/5): Great location and exactly what we needed - Good location for us. clean, tidy and modern decor
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Ad (7/5): Thanks for a lovely stay - Hostess friendly
Grammophone, tv in every room
Kitchen utensils good Guest book missing
Cooker hood ventilator not working
Missing light bulbs in kitchen
Missing cloth for drying dishes
- Douglas (9/5): Superb - The house was perfect, cozy and comfortable with great views looking up to Ben Nevis.
- Andy (8/5): Very good - Close to Fort William
- Paulene (9/5): Superb -
- Katie (10/5): Exceptional - Great location with a nice view of Ben Nevis, the area is safe and the house was clean and tidy with everything you need!
- Suri (9/5): Nice house to stay when in Fort William - Free parking.
Close to Fort William station.
Spacious rooms. No welcome or instruction sheet/book inside the house.
The fridge was barren. Perhaps basic things like milk, juices, butter, and bread could have been stocked.
Having basic cooking ingredients, like oil and spices, would have helped.
The sugar can was empty.
These are small things that do not cost much but make a lot of difference for traveling tourists.
There was no hand wash or soap in the bathroom.
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb -
- Cheryl (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (6/5): wouldn’t return. - modern interior location and state of garden.
